Good clay pot bowls made in a more modern style. You get a free miso soup and a lychee green tea if you sign up to their online store. I enjoyed the beef bowl, well portioned and tender beef. Overall a great place for lunch, I’d return in the future.

I love the food they serve here. Their very delicious and worth the money you pay for. It's my new go-to comfort food. The Braised Minced Pork Big Rice Bowl is my favorite. It is a must try. It is absolutely delicious. The Curry Chicken Big Rice Bowl taste is like Japanese curry. The Black Pepper Beef Big Rice Bowl has lots of onions and pepper, which makes the dish a little spicy. The service and ambiance here are good.

I tried the black pepper beef rice bowl and it was so yummy! The flank steak was really tender and the black pepper sauce was super flavourful. My friends got the braised beef noodle soup and they also enjoyed it! The complimentary miso soup in a cup that we got with our meal was also delicious. Service was pretty fast and the restaurant interior was nice and clean. Portions were also great!

I popped in for a late lunch today. The service was friendly and warm. The food was delicious and so filling. I couldn't finish. That fried tofu was incredible! Will definitely be back.

Friendly staff, and the food was delicious! Since I went with my whole family, we ordered all different dishes and each one's flavors were very good. The cucumber appetizer dish was refreshing (and spicy). The sauce on the shrimp is very good, it was devoured quickly by my family and I. All our dishes were a good portion too. Would highly recommend and would come back as well.

Delicious food, warm ambience, and super friendly staff. Highly recommend the mini fried baos/buns. I can literally order 20 of those and down them in one sitting Amazing value - big portions and fair prices. A true gem in the area!

By far one of the best places we've eaten in Toronto. Everything about our experience was so great beginning to end. We loved that we could order over our phone with qr code. Between us ordering the food and getting our food, we got miso soup in cups which was the first time we've had soup in cup. The food arrived piping hot, although a little late, it was totally worth the wait because it was one of the best meals we've had. We couldn't stop eating because it was just that good. My meat eating husband loved my basil eggplant. The chili sauce took my bowl to the next level. The restaurant itself is impeccably clean with very pleasing decor. The restrooms are downstairs and very clean. Everything was perfect and we can't wait to come back again. Thanks for having us!

The food here DELICIOUS! I love coming here on a cold day for a cozy, hot bowl of red wine beef stew. It’s filling and balanced. It also came with a jasmine iced tea! The atmosphere is laid back yet elevated. The music is pleasant and vibey. Great for a cozy, casual date night or dinner with close friends.

Very friendly service. The Ambiente is fabulous. The place is so clean you could eat from the ground. The most impressive part is how well they are organized. You scan the QR Code at the table add menus and drinks to the bill and send the order to the kitchen. Only minutes later your food is served. Everything is fresh and delicious. And presented beautifully. The toilets are clean and cozy.

Don't let the unassuming name fool you! I've been here several times and got the signature based beef noodles. I rarely comment on Asian restaurants but this spot has some most delicious noodles and rice dishes at a reasonable price! It's also underrated that this spot has a cozier vibe so I don't feel like I'm eating in the middle of the kitchen like many other spots around. Great good, reasonable prices, good ambiance, and friendly staff makes this place hard to beat!

New Taiwanese Asian fusion rice bowl in Downtown Toronto (Chinatown) that will satisfy your hungry belly!! Such a comforting and delicious food. You only can find Jumbo Veggie Spring Roll, we really love it and the smashed cucumber salad is my personal favourite paired with your choice of rice bowl!! Starter: **Smashed Cucumber Salad - MUST ORDER! **Jumbo Veggie Spring Roll **Pan Fried Pork Buns Rice Bowl (come with miso soup): **Lemongrass Pork Chop Rice Bowl **BBQ Beef Stir Fry Rice Bowl - MUST ORDER! If you’re in the chinatown area, you should give them a try!

Great restaurant. Ordered the pork and shishito pepper bowl, the bbq chicken bowl, the pork buns and smashed cucumber salad. The pork bowl was really tasty and had a great smoky flavour that was well balanced. The smashed cucumber salad was amazing. The dish was refreshing and had a perfect balance of saltiness and spiciness. The pork buns were juicy but did lack some flavour. The bbq chicken bowl was the weakest dish as the bbq chicken just tasted like it was sautéed in some bottle sauce. Overall, the value was amazing as it came to about $50 total and I would return for the pork bowl and cucumber salad.

Recently ate at one of the newer restaurants in Chinatown. We ordered the BBQ chicken on rice, red wine beef stew on rice, and a side dish with lemongrass pork strips. For the rice bowls. each also came with a full egg (most restaurants only give half, but it's nice how they gave the entire egg here). There were also a variety of free appetizers: shredded potatoes, spicy shrimp, diced cucumbers (with I think garlic) and a cup of miso soup. Everything was very tasty! The proteins were tender, juicy, and had a lot of flavour. The hot stone bowl kept everything piping hot. It may not look like it based on my photos but it was a perfect meat to rice to veggie balance. We especially liked the pork strips side dish, which was delicious. They were cut into thin strips, but still retained its juiciness. The waitress was also super friendly and helped to explain the side dishes that were given. Overall, a great place for a rice bowl and some good comfort food.

The place is nice and clean. The server was friendly as well. They serve free miso soup which was ok. We got the bbq beef and the chicken bbq. They were so-so. Large serving but really nothing special. Got a little disappointed with the taste but the service compensated. I feel like this is way too hyped up.

Want to give it more stars but the rice bowls were pretty average taste. Liked the extra miso soup we got and it was very filling Wontons were below average

You really need to ask yourself if you've eaten yet at Eat Yet, if you haven't then boy are you missing out! With tax and tip the lemongrass pork chop rice bowl was only $20, a price for the portion few places can match nowadays. And the pork is easily the best part of the whole bowl, because it couldn't fit better the menu description of 'golden brown, juicy and tender'. The sides to the pork are worth a mention as well. Standard fresh vegetables like corn/beans/broccoli are always good to have, but the cabbage and marinated egg are both exceptionally savory/rich, and there is complimentary miso soup. Service is as good as any other restaurant, quick, attentive to refilling water, and always with a smile. Such a charming story about the restaurant name too! :):D

Ordered the BBQ Chicken rice bowl as take out. A definite must try. The vegetables were good but nothing spectacular. But, the 2 stars of the dish was the BBQ chicken and the stewed (tea) eggs. The BBQ chicken was tender with a perfect smokey flavour. I’m really not a fan of eggs in general but the stewed (tea) egg was absolutely de-lish 👌🏼. A great restaurant on Spadina that I happily stumbled upon. I will definitely be coming back to try more dishes. Oh and added bonus, you’ll be served by the nicest people!

Had sesame noodles, chicken bowl, and stewed beef bowl. Big portions! And delicious. They also served us some miso soup type of soup in a cup. Lots of seats. Delicious! Great price.

Very spacious and comfortable place for lunch or a casual dinner. The staff is friendly with great service. I’ve come here a couple times now and the rice bowls are yummy comfort dishes served piping hot with good flavour. My favourite is the bbq beef rice bowl; savoury and balanced perfectly with kimchi. The wontons have a good spice to them. Wish there was an option to order tea.

Great spot for lunch! We both ordered a rice which came with miso soup. For the price, you get a good amount of meat and side veggies within the rice bowl. Cucumber salad was a good balance to the bowls as an appetizer dish as the rice bowls are flavourful with that greasy wok taste. The real chefs kiss was the canto bops that that was playing!!!

Friendly staff and good ambiance. You can order directly using the qr code at each table which is convenient. The lemongrass pork and bbq chicken bowls were 5/5. The wontons were ok. The soy milk was boxed rather than fresh made.

Good food. Tasty and well seasoned. Portions are pretty decent. Very happy. They used a lot of paper cups, guessing maybe they’re a new business and can’t wait to get actual bowls and cups for soup and drinks. I would come back

I came here on a whim, but found that it's a great place for a rather balanced meal! We ordered food through a QR code. The chicken bowl was reasonable for the price; it had a pretty good portion of chicken, which was sweet, savory and not dry. It also came a nice cup of miso soup and some kimchi. The rice was also warm and soft, while the other toppings complemented the meat very well. I highly suggest using the spoon to eat so you can get a bit of everything at once. The location is clean and quiet, and service is alright. The plating is also very aesthetically pleasing!

I really, really want to give this place 5* but unfortunately one of my rice bowls was a let down (I'll get to that later). The star of the show was definitely the lemon grass pork - it was very tender, flavourful and juicy! The whole bowl felt like a full, healthy meal. The pork belly bowl was also good and had ample amount of meat. The disappointment came from the red wine braised beef bowl. It tasted ketchup-y and the sauce didn't have much depth to it. I guess you might like it if you like food on the sweet side, but I wanted it to be more savory. The pork buns were tiny and kinda dry. They might have forgotten to pack the sauce with my order, but it wasn't a big deal. It wasn't bad but I wouldn't order it again. Food aside, I gotta give a big shoutout to the service staff. I was only there to pick up my order but they were nice enough to let me sit and have a glass of water while waiting. It's hard to find the kind of service that goes the extra mile in Toronto. Bravo!
