Covid-19 prescreening questions were done over the phone. One of the questions asked by the Dr were "did you travel outside of Canada?" I said no. When I went in, a receptionist asked what was the reason for the visit and if I travelled. I said I went to Vancouver 2 weeks ago and she refused to see me. How illiterate is the doctor herself? Vancouver is within Canada. Next time word your phrases properly. Waste of time. Unprofessional as mentioned in other posts.

This place is always busy and still the Dr was able to see all the clients. Some comments here are saying that Dr is moody the reason may be many people are abusing OHIP and simply want to come and see the Dr for no reasons.

Went today to see the doctor today. Outside, it's advertised as being opened till 12:00 pm, however I was at the office by 11:45 and they had already locked the doors. When I asked the staff why it's advertised as being open till 12, she responded rudely, saying "doctor needs to leave by 12. Had you called in we would've told you last appointment is at 11:30". If this is indeed the case, maybe you should take a look into changing your hours of availability, since you're not necessarily open till the time you're advertising. Very poor work ethic.

Staff don't know who can come or not. Asked if I can do a walk in, said it was first time there. They proceed to sign me in and I wait. Eventually get a room only for the doctor to tell me, she won't help me to full out forms as a walk in. Refused to assist me so I can return to work. Doctor is a joke. No professionalism at all. If you are looking for a new doctor don't go here.

This place has gone down the drains. Very unprofessional. Hours are only 8am -2:30pm plus she is close for 1 hour for lunch. So the doctor only works 5.5 hrs a day. Closed on weekends. No one returns calls.

Love, love. Love this doctor. I moved away to oshawa and still will never change my doctor. Had to edit this review as I finally got through. I DO wish you could leave voice-mail messages but I guess no business is perfect

All the staff is very nice and helpful. It is a busy place but the Dr always sees all the patients. Some have stated that the staff is moody but if you are nice to them they are nice to you.

God bless this woman! I've had so many bad experiences with family doctors that I lost hope in trying to keep one until I met Dr. El KATEB. Shes genuinely caring, listens to your needs and gives good advice. I am so happy I crossed paths with this clinic and will continue to come here

Another doctors clinic where patients are just seen as dollar signs. Staff was horrible with attitude going through the roof. I went there with my child and myself going through ear pain to visit the doctor. When I entered the door, it felt as if I entered a theater with the TV blasting. As I had a hearing problem and finding a seat right beside the TV I put the volume down a little bit as typically doctors/specialist office don't have there TV volume high similar to a theater. 5 minutes later Dr. El kateb comes to the waiting area and tells her front desk to put the volume back all the way up. So when I asked her as to why she is putting it so high, as I am having ear problem and and my ear is sensitive to sounds right now, she mentions that she has to do it, otherwise her waiting area patients start hearing what's going on inside the rooms. What kind of reasoning is that? Your going to make your patients suffer due to your cheap construction of your facility? Get insulated walls. Redo your construction to solve your noise problem. Rising the TV volume so it's blasting is not alternative to this problem she seems to have. Not only did her staff address this issue in a very rough and crude manner, she exemplified the exact same emotions which made me realized that If the boss has no respect for her clients what makes you think her staff will? Nonetheless, my child gets called in and now seating in the room seems to becomes an issue. Her staff mention that only one parent is allowed in the room? What kind of doctors office allows only one parent in the room, especially if they have 2 seats in the room. Makes no logical sense, at this point I had realized that this is not the type of health care service I want for me or my child. They were acting like they are paying for my service or treating me for free. All in all, Dr. Al ekateb was very unprofessional alongside he incompetent staff who along with their rude and unprofessional behavior seem clueless when you ask them questions.
