Al Forat has become our new favorite and I've been recommending it to everyone. The staff is super friendly. I had a newborn baby with me and everyone was so loving towards her. The food was delicious and fresh. Everything is flavorful and tastes great.

The food was amazing as well as the decorations. The art on the walls reminded of back home in Iraq. The service was great as they were kind and friendly. The garlic sauce was phenomenal, followed by the stuffed chicken. Everyone was satisfied with their dishes and are looking forward to returning.

Drove by this place many times throughout the day and decided to pop in this time around. The food was amazing! I had the chicken shawarma plate! The restaurant is extremely clean and while I was ordering there was someone cleaning! 10/10 definitely will return! For the price it’s worth every penny!

Got lunch here at a friend's recommendation. Ordered a lamb sandwich with only the meat and tomatoes, although they have more toppings available. While waiting for the meal, the staff provided a bowl of hot soup. Very refreshing, great for this cooling weather. The sandwich is huge and filled with meat. You could probably split it into two meals Excellent place. Would recommend

So we've been here a few times mainly for the shawarma but recently came in to sit down for a meal. We got the rotisserie chicken meal and some samoon shawarma. The platter was really nice with a lot of good appetizers, bread and the chicken was juicy and tasted well. The shawarma was a bit cold, so were the mezze sides which was kind of bummer but the owners were really nice and friendly. Good sit down meal with nice quality and quantity, specially for the price. The shawarma is also good too. One of the better ones in the area. Overall a good spot with some mediterranean fare if you're nearby.

Went to this place after seeing the reviews and I was not disappointed at all. Very clean & well maintained interior. They do offer dine in facility. Ample free parking available. I tried the lentil soup and Beef kabab Maj wrap. They prepare fresh food so it takes 10-15 mins time so please be patient. The taste was awesome. First time I tried Iraqi food. Price is very affordable and the portion served is sufficient. They have a variety of options in their menu. I will definitely come back to try other items.

Always been fan of AlForat. Tried it last night in Scarborough.. Half chicken roast combo the juiciest chicken you will ever have … I won’t say the same for rice … Tried lamb shawarma platter with half and half better avoid rice …. They gave us lentil soup and tea complimentary… Kudos to the team Hadeel, Shaker and Habashi…!! I give 6 out of 5 for their service and hospitality…… Love you guys…!! P.s. please improve biryani rice …!!

Thankfully after so long I have found the best shawarma place to go in Scarborough. The food is super fresh and scrumptious. We ordered Chicken Samoon and Saj. Also, we ordered Tuesday’s deal buy half chicken and get half free. Everything was super flavourful. I’d definitely go again soon. The workers were super friendly and helpful in ordering as well.
