Great park for hiking and cycling. There are a few parking lots here. Washrooms are open))) There are not any kids playgrounds here.

Great trail. The creek runs along most of trail. Lots of garbage/recycling bins along the trail. They also offer a few benches. The park has several picnic tables scattered throughout. There is ample parking available. The washrooms were clean and well equipped. The trail merges into East point park. Definitely one of my favourite places to go for a walk.

Very nice park in the neighbourhood within 30 mins from Toronto. Nicely maintained and gladly not overly crowded. Great place for the family BBQ especially around the creek. Nice trails. Fishing is nice as well though limited.

Colonel Danforth Park boasts a scenic path adorned with tree shadows that leads to the University of Toronto. A serene salmon stream, lovely gardens, and a banquet hall make it an idyllic wedding venue. The park transforms with vibrant flowers in summer and fiery red maple leaves in autumn.

Absolutely loved it a little disappointed about not seeing the salmon but that wasn't the Park's fault we did however see five deer! One of them up very close. The trees were spectacular part of the trail was closed going towards the nuclear plant it was under construction. Hopefully when you go it will be open. There are many side trails to take and I suggest that you take these. The colors are beautiful and on a weekday it's not too busy

Absolutely beautiful in fall and must visit if you're nearby. Good spot to picnic for a few hours and wind down to the sound of rustling leaves. Washrooms are decent enough, free parking space is quite big as well.

Lovely trail by the river leading to the great lake. The views of the frozen river as you wind down on the trail towards the water are breathtaking!

Sandwiched between Morningside Park and Lower Highland Creek Park, the tree-topped Colonel Danforth Park stretches from the University of Toronto Scarborough campus to Lawrence Avenue East. Although the weather forecast wasn't sunny, we ended up spending the day at this park. It's lovely for a picnic spot. Lots of picnic tables and bbqs. The Highland Creek Trail that leads through the park continues into Lower Highland Creek Park before extending all the way to Lake Ontario. The trail follows closely beside the Highland Creek the entire way before it flows into the lake at the eastern end of the Scarborough Bluffs. Entry into the park is free. There are restrooms which were clean. A water fountain was also available by the restroom. Parking was not a problem, although a lot of folks showed up during the day.

One of the best greenest and scenic park in Toronto. Park's naturally decorated trail connects with the great lakes waterfront trail.

April 2021: a large green space with trails along side a creek. This place has lots of trees but also some open space for you to picnic and possibly BBQ (not sure if it's allowed, just saw people doing so). Not really much to look at per se, but this park serves as a trail to connect to other parks leading down to the beaches of lake Ontario. Great for biking.

Very nice place. Parking is great. Good for walk. Different trails and one of trail almost 30 min walk take U directly to lake Ontario east end park. While walking U see beautiful falls colours and different spices. Down stream is good for fishing too.

Absolutely love the trails through this park. You can bike or walk almost all the way to the Guild and Rouge Beach. There is one area of paved trail that's inaccessible near the bridge to the Port Union area so beware of that. Breathtaking views of the lake to the south end of the trails and beautiful forest scenery all throughout. Great place for birdwatching or spotting deer. Enjoy! Pls remember not to litter?!

I recently discovered a hidden gem nestled in Port Union—a park with an extraordinary hiking trail. The trail winds through lush forests, offering shade and serenity. It's impeccably maintained, with informative signs and stunning lookout points along the way. The trail leads to the pristine shores of Ontario Lake, where the tranquil waters beckon you to relax and appreciate the moment. This park is a nature lover's paradise and a must-visit for anyone seeking a rejuvenating escape in the heart of nature.

Went there the first week of November. Not much of fall colors left but we had fun. The road was closed for cars!

I was hiking with my puppy at the first time here yesterday. Great for kids and dogs. Lots of cyclists. It is a beautiful, quite peaceful park. Wonderful place for picnic and BBQ as well. Will visit here again next time!

This spot is beautiful and serene only understandably if you've been here. A quiet nice spot with lots of seating and a nice small stream that runs along the parks lot. Bummer it closes early (10-11ish) and always be careful of the steep hill coming in/out I've seen a deer crossing there so just be vigilant as you ascend/descend!
