The waterfront was a lot of fun. The kids enjoyed skipping rocks and wading out in the water. We had a picnic by the water as well. The park was very crowded but our kids kept their masks on and had a blast.

Clean, small and lovely. It has a railway track behind it where the passing train is a good attraction for children. There is a concrete raised water channel that gushes cold water into the crater with floor fountains(perhaps for summers)- quite a pleasant sight. To my amazement, it is frequented by youth too apart from the young toddlers. It seems to be maintained nicely. There is sufficient car parking space there- perhaps not so much for busy summers. Just behind it after passing through an underpass, there is the immense expanse of the lake which offers a good walking track. Overall, it is good for picnics and spending the entire day in the playground as well as as a little dip in the clear waters of the lake...which offers breathtaking scenerey

The park is nice and very kid friendly with a nice playground and splash pad. My biggest issue is how dirty the washroom is and the reason for a 3 star review.

Brilliant park with all basic facilities . Situated close to Rouge Go. Parking is available and is free just near the park (not the parking near the go station) . There are washrooms, play area for kids and a jungle Gym. A short walk will connect you to the waterfront trail , which is used by both bikers πŸš΄β€β™‚οΈ and pedestrians (walking / jogging). I am a regular cyclist here and have some mind boggling clicks from early morning. Port Union waterfront 😍.

This is the first park I visited after coming to Canada. The place is always crowded with people of so many different cultures. Kids really enjoy coming to this park. Good place for cycling. Downside is you have to be careful of mosquitoes, and most people don't wear any mask here.

Large park with a big playground, splash pad, and amphitheater. Some open greenspace with rolling hills. Large gazebo with shaded benches. Public washroom. Connects to the Waterfront Trail. There is plenty of parking in the Rouge Hill GO parking lot. The only downside is the noise from the constant trains.

A very nice park for kids to play and for parents to de-stress and enjoy the weather. I have been coming to this park a couple of times over the years and it is always clean and well taken care of.

Great place for the family. Nice park and splash pad for the kids. Connects to the waterfront trail in both east and west directions. Plenty of parking so it's a good starting spot for a bike ride.

Kids love the fountain and splash pad area; older kids and adults love the biking track. The beachfront is always full of smiling people who are out having a great time!

good biking trail πŸš²πŸš΅β€β™€οΈ, peaceful environment, no overcrowding, You can get access to this place from multiple locations, such as Rough Hill Go Station, High Land Creek Park, and Pickering Water Front Station. If you want to do trilling, I would suggest using Highland Creek Park, where you can get a big parking lot and restroom as well. Another place is Rough Hill Park, where you can get a parking spot as well as access to the biking trail.

Large parking lot and fantastic entry to the lakeshore trail. The splash pad/ water feature of this park had a lot of trash in it when we were there which was disappointing. This is a great secondary option than the rouge national park access point to the water/beach. Kids love the play structures.

The park is very organized and there is a by cycle trail beside the lake. The view is very nice. There is a small splash pad and kids play zone there.

Great little park that offers a lot for children to do.

  • 5/5 Lu L. 6 months ago on Google
Love this playground. It's great for all ages. It's right by the lake and just around the path there are bathrooms and it also has a workout space. The splashpad has a little river which is fun to run through. The path under the tunnel is very nice, it has rocks for people to sit and walk on, it has lots of places to see, and it also has a nice little place through the bushes that is shady and has a beautiful view of the lake.

I have had the pleasure of having a few experiences here.....πŸ€—πŸ˜‰..not always pleasurable but I believe as an inferior race (HUMANS) we have much room 2 grow. The park itself is quite nice ---- don't know why the people aren't πŸ˜”πŸ˜². The park is maintained all the time ....even the washrooms (which are open really early - 2 really late) from May to October. Never out of TP ...thank goodness πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ˜. People who come to this place for whatever reasons..... probably don't wanna step over trash or look for a bench that doesn't have broken glass all around it....so why do you leave it???

Good place to spend time with your family, friends and pets. A little overcrowded. Finding parking wasn't that easy too. You do see security standing there to help you, with a smile, if needed which is great. If you are looking for some calm and peaceful time then this is not where you may want to go on a holiday or long weekends but rest of the days, it is amazing

Always a good place to relax.Bring your kids to play in the park. Cycle through the tracks along the shoreline. Run along the route provided all the way to Pickering and Guildwood. Areas are dog friendly. Have plenty of clean restrooms. Can see people having bonfires along the stoney shores.

This place never disappoints! It will always be my go to place for peace and Serenity. I am so mesmerized by the water. It is especially beautiful during the Fall season. I highly recommend going if you want to escape reality.

Today I took my son to the park. There are so many people inside. I saw a lot cycling people passing through the park. Even though we only stay 1 hour, I think it is a good place to relax in the evening πŸ˜†

The bike/walk trail behind this park is closed till next year due to renovations that is taking place along the shore to make better path along the lake front. Great Park for kids, did not see any water slides. Great art work on the walk path only in the playground.

Came here on a Saturday night around 10 pm. The moon did not disappoint. The path is not lit, so make sure you bring a light source to light your way. There were a lot of people around at this time, so it didn't feel unsafe, but better safe then sorry.

Great park for families, nice playground (no sand for those parents who hate sand!), fountain and river water feature great for kids to play in. Next to the GO station, so lots of trains for those train-obsessed kiddos to watch. Access to walking paths along the waterfront.

The park and the natural beauty around it is so attractive. Me and my family like to go there as there is beach, park for kids, splash pad, a pond, washroom facilities and bike trails. And also the Go Trains are the additional attraction for my kids as the station is just beside the park.
