Beautiful hidden gem. Clean and not crowded! That’s the best part. The trail is fantastic. Highly recommend. But people don’t litter 🚯 please

Couldn't have found this place if it weren't for my friend. What a beautiful place!! Calm, and quiet place with clean water away from Bluffs and not crowded at all. A good place for hikes, biking, spending time with friends. Not much of a beach, there is only a small area with beach sand, rest is rocky. The view from all the sides is beautiful.

Lucky to live in this neighborhood. Walking in this trail is such a delight. It a little hike takes about 30 minutes and 45 minutes goung back. And the view of the lake is awesome. We love to visit here and spend time relaxing by the rocky beach. The water is nice. It's not crowded, few people come here.

What a peaceful place it is! Wide view of Ontari lake, white stones makes the place so beautiful. There is around 30 minutes sharp slope to view the lake. We were so amazed by the lake view that we did not go through the whole trail. We spent 3 hours by the lake. However, saw a pizza box on the stone, it was really sad to see people doing that to such a nice place. Not a very comfortable place for picnic, at there's no wide space to sit and eat. Road side parking, and didn't see any washroom.

Absolutely stunning! It's only 15 minutes walk to the lake, and we'll go there everyday if possible.

Nice spot for a stroll at the bottom of the hill. The rocks by the water provide a lovely seat to watch the water and chill.

Awesome views of the Lake and Bluffs. Can be easy or challening hike. There is a long steep incline gravel path down into.. Which can be tiring coming back up. Must experiences this local natural beauty.

Outstanding area, beautiful and scenic. Winding down the hills from Doris McCarthy Trail then you arrive at Gates Gully and all the large stones placed around to stop and sit, relax. This is one of the best most interesting and beautiful areas to visit in Scarborough. You'll enjoy every inch of the trail and all sides of the gorge. Then after leaving Gates Gully you'll start to see the blue sky over Lake Ontario and it is so amazing to see and capture.

Beautiful trail and enjoyable for the whole family. So many things to stop and see for the kids, a good cardio activity indeed. I suffer from chronic sciatic nerve pain due to a bulging disc and I was able to manage the trail, even with its steepness.

Really beautifull place..Its a must visit one. But the walk might be tiring because its almost 30 minutes walk to the beach. There is a sculpture called "Passage". Its less crowded and really peaceful. If u r fortunate enough u might see some animals like deer.

Nice trail. Steep cliffs. Beautiful views of Lake Ontario and the bluffs. The trek back up is about 116m so you should feel the burn!

Enjoyed the Doris McCarthy Trail and view at the end. It's pretty steep for anyone who is concerned about that, but the pathway is smooth enough and kept well.

Loved it..great walking trail walking along side the beach. This is located east of the bluffs on Ravine and Kingston rd (landmark pioneer gas station). There is a STEEP downhill walk along a dirt path to the bottom. Once there you can walk left or right along the dirt path. These are a few pictures from my walk taking the Left trail path.. Also I took my dogs and saw several other off leashed dogs.

Great walking / cycling trail in the east end. Not the best for road bikes, more for gravel bikes. Beautiful scenery and views of the Bluffs.

Secluded walk down a fairly steep ravine to the lake. Can walk east or west along the shore. Great views of the bluffs and a piece of public art worth seeing!

Doris McCarthy is singular in her achievements as an artist and her passion for the geography of Canada which she has painted from sea to sea. The Scarborough Bluffs are a significant geological formation of the ancient Lake Iroquois. Passage, in form, incorporates the double-pointed oval of the ancient vesica piscis symbol for females to represent Dorisβœ…

It was a memorable walk through the hilly trail to the lake. Just 20 min walk from where I live in! Great place to visit around. Recommend in summer time.

Really nice place, a bit of a hiking trek to get down but it's a really beautiful place. Very relaxing and not too many people were there.
