Finally got the chance to dine in after just getting take out a bunch of times. The service is always good, no difference today. The place is set up really well. Very comfortable, clean, relaxing environment. With tv's all around and reggae music playing. A lot was put into the set up because you don't typically see this in Carribean restaurants. The food is always delicious. They recently took over the place next door and expanded their operations to accommodate large groups etc. Plus I love the fact that they offer take out up until like 4 a.m. everyday.

A surprise experience. I recently found The Avenue, a newly expanded and renovated Caribbean cuisine restaurant. The experience and hospitality was beyond expected in every way. From the planning, following up to the day of service, Brandon and his team made us all feel important from the time we arrived down to the last person that left. By the time we got to appetizers everyone was sold and the rest of the night was just a bonus. Thank you for making my wife's 40th and her father's 90th an experience to remember. We look forward to sharing this kind of experience with our circle of friends.

I got the regular chicken wings with extra pepper sauce here and the special chicken fried rice for take out and let me tell you these wings are delicious!!! Really well seasonsed and crispy tender wings and the pepper sauce just lights it up!! Excellent chicken fried rice haven't had it in soo long and it was well worth the wait. Perfectly cooked and seasoned and just right! Great to go spot in Scarborough a must try for sure and they have a variety of selections of wings and a big menu to suit everyone!!!

Great restaurant. Fast service and tasty Caribbean food. Can't go wrong with pepper shrimp, chili chicken, or fried rice. Come in the evening and enjoy the nice music. It can get busy in the evening, so make sure to call ahead for a seat.

Great atmosphere. Great food. Great service!! We had the trio platter with pepper shrimp, pepper wings and pepper fish. Everything on the platter was excellent. We also tried the avenue fried rice, chow mein and beef with broccoli. Let's just say all four of us were very satisfied. Highly recommend. Will definitely be back!

I've been ordering food from the Avenue Restaurant every Wednesday for numerous years. I always order the same items. My mother is allergic to shrimp, and I always ask to have the shimp on the side instead of in the noodles. The owner "Brandon Jay" told me there is an extra charge to have the shrimp on the side. I've never had to pay an extra change for having something on the side. All in all, I am paying the full price for the dish. This is horrible, knowing that I am a regular customer who orders from the Avenue 1-2 times weekly. Well, they have lost the business from my family and friends.

I give the service a 5, atmosphere a 4.5 and food a 4. The spicy shrimp was the star and veggie spring roll really good too. The chilli chicken was good but not great. Overall satisfied

I am recommending this restaurant to the public. I was on board the Enterprise 2000 J & B masters annual boat ride Aug 19th 2023, Avenues was hired to do the catering. The food was exceptional and in abundance but what I was extremely happy with was the service, five star service from the staff.Thanks to Savi, Shelly and Rudy who ensured all passengers were satisfied!!!! I love how they work as a professional team and greeted us with a smile. These servers made a difference and should be recognized.

This place has really good food options and are open late night. Quick service, Chris made sure we were well taken care off. Good portion sizes and the food was fresh. Will visit again!

First time order was great. Second time ordering and tried the Szechuan Chicken hands down the worst I have ever had!!!! Had to throw it in a pan and recook it. Ordered the chilli chicken combo on uber eats, when my order had arrived it had ZERO sauce on the chilli chicken it was literally soggy,unsalted,breaded chicken.how do you miss the sauce on chilli chicken i dont understand how that slipped by the cook.i pushed it to the side thinking i can enjoy the rice only to find there is ZERO SALT in that too. Took one bite and threw it out.

I'm truly amazed with Avenue's food, there is no West Indian Chinese food that can compare in Scarborough. The portion, the toppings/ingredients, their hot sauce, the presentation and quality of food is superb! They are absolutely not stingy and don't hold back when it comes to your food compared to other restaurants. Their restaurant is clean and well taken care of, the staff are nice and friendly. I highly recommend Avenue!

Anytime visiting The Avenue is great he food is great the atmosphere/ambience is quite nice and relaxing. Also had some catering done for our work. Brandon and his staff ensured that everything was done in time and of course the quality of food kept high . The pepper fish was delicious. The macaroni pie was good but it had a sweet taste and generally speaking I don't like sweet flavours. Either way I'd go back for the fish By cay.

We had our work Christmas party and we all enjoyed everything. From drinks, to food, place and the amazing DJ the owner arranged for us. For sure, we will go to this wonderful place again. The owner and his crew are amazing. Parking is not a problem too.

Carnival Spice had our 10th Year Anniversary Dinner Event, “Dine & Lime” at the Avenue earlier this Spring - and it was such a beautiful experience. The venue is clean, cozy and intimate and the delicious Caribbean food was a hit! Highly recommend it if you are considering spaces to host an event.

Hidden spot in Scarborough for Hakka. Love the fried rice, sweet & sour pork, and bbq chicken. Best part I would say is the environment inside. I really like how it dim and calm.

Was going next door for a roti but craved Chinese and stopped in. Judy explained the menu. Wonderful food and great service. The craving was satisfied. Very impressed.

Food quality and portion are not as good lately though prices continue to climb. Customer service is mediocre. Used to be a go to spot, there are better quality/priced meals out there. Last order, kitchen made mistake and sent wrong dish.

Felt for some fried rice at 1am and the Avenue came through. Ordered mixed fried rice with quarter chicken and spring rolls, large portion good for 2, includes hot scotch bonnet pepper sauce. If you want some late night eats this will satisfy.

First time to this place tonight. The food was all right. I ordered chilli chicken and fired rice and the pepper shrimp, which was the best of the dishes. The child checked was dry and not hot, but they do have some great pepper sauce!

Got the Chilli Chicken on Vegetable fried rice and honestly the chicken had 90%fat and 10%meat, mostly chewy. Rice looks and tastes super dry and no flavor. Took a couple of bites and couldn't eat the rest.. what a waste of 15$.

This place is amazing the food is delicious and fresh. Went there yesterday to celebrate my friend's birthday. It was a party of 15 from start to finish very friendly and professional staff great music in the back ground and again great food the portion was amazing there's was 15 of us and we couldn't finish it all.we will definitely be back soon.

I celebrated my PhD this evening in this excellent restaurant. I am glad to say that we passed a awesome evening and the restaurant was absolutely one of the reasons for this successful event. The crew helped in a splendid manner, the meals were tasty and my guests were very delighted. We shall no dout return for more events. Thank you very much.

Wednesday December 09 @11:35pm So much for half price chilly chicken on Wednesdays. I called at 11:10 pm to order chilly chicken and when I went to pick up my order they tell me its full price after 11. If their day ends an hr early they need to clarify that on thier website or on thier instagram account. This was a waste of my time and gas. Hope no one else has to go through this dissapointment.

I ordered via face drive from here. It’s one of the late night restaurants. I tried chilli chicken with fried rice and hot and sour chicken soup. It was totally worth the price. Great quantity. Everything was well packed.

I got the fish with fried rice. I really like this place because they give a great portion for a reasonable cost. I am not a heavy eater and I was able to take my one portion and divide it into one dinner and two small lunches!

Haven’t gone to Avenue in over a year. As soon I enter this establishment, I was greeted “long time meh nah see yuh” by the owner. She is always friendly and chatty. Food always good as usual. Too bad I couldn’t enjoy a stag while waiting.

Excellent food and service. I called ahead and the food was ready on time. Both chicken dishes were tasty, rice and noodles were on point, spring rolls were delightful. Adding this place to the roster!

Full disclosure, I have done some promo work for this restaurant before. But the reason I did so is because I love it so much! So this opinion is completely my own: this place is great for Caribbean Chinese food. Super friendly staff, and a pretty kickin' patio make for a wonderful place to chow down some chicken in the ruff fried rice or even some chili chicken poutine! And ya gotta try their lo mein noodles as well as the pepper shrimp. Trust me, you'll want more. Plenty of parking too, and they open SUPER late!

Great portions . Taste good. Outside patio is cute . This place has always been it for my family . Never a disappointment.

Got the chili chicken and sweet and sour chicken. The chicken was soggy, not seasoned, and the portion of rice/noodles was too big. Vegetables were just thrown in there. Most likely will not be getting again.
