All together it was a pleasant experience. The Hakka chicken pakora was alright , a little bit of extra spice would make it more interesting and delicious. The portions of the noodles were for 3 people. We didn't expect it to be so much for 1 person. They are cheap and above average.

First time here and food was good. Ordered the vegetable pakora, which was nice and crisp with some raw white onions as garnish; and tandoori masala chicken with rice, no sauce but chunks of chicken breast were seasoned well with flavor, also cooked with onions. Chicken was slightly dry. Customer service was very nice, and I would go back to try other dishes.

2023 April 3.5★ While an odd location, this restaurant is fairly busy. Being here for over 12+ years as of writing, this restaurant has a lot of take out orders. They do have some tables for dine in for about 24 persons. Fish Pakora 14.95 Light and crispy with spicy green peppers and good portion of fish. A good choice. Hakka Chow Mein 11.95 While this did have "鑊氣" which is a cauldron style cooking, the dish was just ok. There are better noodle options here. Chilli Chicken 12.95 As the name suggests, chicken glazed with a savory chili sauce. Pretty good. Crispy Chicken (half) 11.95 A red crispy fried chicken. Not bad, chicken wasn't too dry. Though nothing amazing. Overall, it's not bad. Portions are fairly good. The prices are reasonable. Staff are nice. Atmosphere is dim, seems grungy because of the lighting and colors.

Update Feb 23...Dine in is available. Good food and good service. No dine in but have tables outside that you can sit and eat the takeout food. Had chilli chicken and chicken pakora. Both pretty good. This restaurant apparently has been around for years but trying for the first time. I’m glad there is another Indian-Hakka Chinese choice out there.

Came here with my fiancee and we absolutely loved it. We tried the chili chicken, Manchurian hakka chow mein and vegetable pakoras. 10/10 will return and highly recommend for spicy hakka food!

Great spot for hakka food with a lot of dishes that you only get from a hakka household So many options for authentic hakka resto food. And some dishes that only the hakka community would know from making it at home. Had to order the pakoras and the chili chicken cuz that’s definition of hakka food to most! But they had these daikon radish meatballs that are super tasty. They did seem to try and glam it up with some dried seafood, which is a nice idea! There’s also a noodle dish that isn’t on every hakka restaurants menu, but it’s the molasses noodle, which is sweet and savoury built into every bite! And this one was really well done! Chili chicken was very good! Crispy even with the sauce. The yeung chow fried rice was very delicious as well as the corn soup! Will come back!

We had their spice & pepper squid, tandoori paneer and fried stuffed tofu. Each dish came with a bowl of steamed rice. The squid was tender and spicier than other restaurants. I like the spiciness. The batter came off the squid. Interestingly they served it with raw cabbage. I would suggest to shave the cabbage, fluff it up like the Japanese do for presentation. The paneer was quite dry thankfully countered by the raw sweet onions. Tofu was stuffed with minced pork and bacon. It is a different taste from Cantonese versions. Very tasty. The attentive staff took time to explain the distinctiveness of Hakka cooking which is good and informative. The atmosphere is old school. Next time i will call ahead to reserve the stuffed steamed bitter melon and try their beef with vegetable preserves in wine sauce.

Something about the food was just off. It was not flavourful and was pretty bland. I’ve tried many Hakka spots but this is my least favourite. We got Manchurian Hakka noodles, chilli chicken, and fish pakora. The noodles was bland. The chilli chicken felt off so we told the waiter and they were really kind enough to give us another plate of it however, it was still the same. We went near closing so that can be a reason. I usually don’t leave reviews and hate that I have to write this but hopefully they take this criticism. Big ups to the waiter though, he was really nice! P.s I only have a pic of the first entree.

Great Indo-Chinese restaurant with good varieties and tasty food. Quality and quantity of the food seems to be fair and reasonable. Staff is friendly and order time was pretty quick for a busy day. Only negative was that the staff did not care about the restaurant ambience. The waiter sat next to table of ours with 100s of cutleries to wipe them dry after wash and made loud clinging sounds throughout our lunch. Clearly she did not like her job but it gave us small headache with satisfied tummy. I hope they would be more considerate of the diners and decorum of the restaurant.

Chili chicken, is spicy here. Worth the try, and affordable. 10 percent off if paying by cash in their special offer. Would recommend spicy garlic chicken if you wanted a milder spicy version of chili chicken. It's a mix between chili and sweet and sour chicken.

The food was decent but rather oily. The restroom was in terrible condition, and the administration didn't seem to care. Given that we had more than 20 guests, the waitress helped us a lot in setting up the tables and provided excellent service.

Loved their dishes. One of my fave is the Shanghai noodles. They always served the food hot. The serving is quite large actually. If you’re looking for something that would satisfy your lunch or dinner meal, order here.

Reasonable prices with great tasting food. Staff are super friendly. The restaurant needs an update.

As a very white person who clearly did not understand what Hakka meant, I genuinely enjoyed the food. I ordered what I would consider typical American Chinese food staples and for the most part was quite pleased with the flavour. I was a little.. lot shocked by the spiciness of dishes I wouldn't normally associate with that level of heat. But aside from that it was an enjoyable meal, and I will be back, just more highly selective of what I order.

Delicious food! Spicy eggplant with shrimp Country style beef Curry mutton Shrimp was prepared perfectly, eggplant was like silk. Smooth balanced flavour. The beef was the best - both crisp and moist, spicy with a slight sour tang. Curry was nice too! Moist and enjoyable. Will be back.

We love this restaurant! The food is amazing with very generous portions and many delicous vegan dishes. The portions are huge and the prices are very reasonable. The place is extremely clean with a cozy atmosphere. The staff is super friendly and Jimmy and his brother treat you like family. Highly recommended!

Friendly service from the staffs. They’re knowledgeable regarding the dishes as well. Food came out quick and fresh & hot. We polished them quickly. Never disappointed so far with food & service.

Food was excellent. Not a lot of choices of Hakka but what we did have was delicious. The sweet server was very obliging and worked extremely hard. She really could have used an extra body helping her in the dining room. But despite being busy she was very attentive and had a great attitude. 👍 Next time we will probably do takeout.

Great taste at this restaurant service was pretty good too. I had the royal pepper fish, the crispy beef and the soup. All three items were really good! The chilli chicken is very bland would not recommend that. Overall good restaurant

Food is great for the price and located in easy access road. They cater you fast , only thing they donot have smile on the face. It is very important to smile with people if you are in sales or customer service business
