This place checks everything you expect in a dish. Fresh everytime and blows you out of the water!! One of the best food I have tasted post-Covid. Mind blown. Keep it up! Seared Tilapia ($19). Comes with Seared Tilapia fillet, seasoned veges and rice medley or potatoes. It tasted so fresh n seasoned perfectly. It reminded me of my mom's cooking. Definitely worth it!! The other one I ordered was the Flipper's special ($26).it comes with a fillet of sole,3 shrimp, 2 scallops and two halibut fingers🤌 plus the rice medley and veges. Seared Tilapia was my favorite but this was fresh n tasty as well!! *Must try*

We had two take-out orders of whole Florida Snapper with vegetables and rice for lunch. Both fishes were quite large with a lot of delicious meat cooked perfectly! Also, the vegetables were tasty and, even though each portion wasn’t as abundant as the fish, they were good enough for each person.

Since my last visit in the summer I've seen a decline in both the quality of food and service. The portions used to be larger it's like they are cut in half now. The fish and chips were over cooked and hard. And the staff don't acknowledge special instructions with your food . Really disappointed. I used to look forward to eating here. I'll be going elsewhere next time. You'd swear the restaurant was under new management. Not worth the money. Terrible. My advice to anyone eat somewhere else if you want a quality meal.

Founds these guys through Uber eats and I've ordered a bunch of times now,trying different things on the menu. Every time the food is perfect. Always hot and fresh. The packaging is perfect too. I'll definitely keep ordering more!!!

We had an awesome dinner experience at Flippers. Char Grilled Lobster is a must try. The restaurant is so nice with its mariner theme and the staff is professional , friendly and super efficient. They have taken the time to get every detail down from the lighting to the cleanliness. We will definitely be back. Thanks so much.

The seafood was excellent and very well presented. It was on the eve of father's day. I had a grilled platter of Kalamari and Mussels in marinara sauce. My friend had a seafood combo with rice medley. I would strongly recommend this place which has maintained an excellent reputation for 50 years.

This was our first time at this restaurant. I had the halibut fish and chips with coleslaw and my husband had the steak and shrimp. with veggies and rice. Both meals were very good and great size portions! Our server, I believe her name was Gia, was very attentive and nice. We will definitely be going back!

Very underrated old school Fish House. The food here is to die for! And it wont break your pockets. Warm welcoming family environment! They cook fish and Lobster to perfection! Highly recommend this for a great meal.

So I decided to check this place out again since it's under new management and they apparently got a new chef, and I was definitely not disappointed. I ordered mussels for appetizers which came with this amazing sauce (made from scratch apparently) that we just couldn't get enough of. We even ordered another order of bread just to make sure the sauce didn't go to waste. I ordered the fish of the day special and it was pretty good. I've had this meal at other places, but this had a special kick to it.

So surprised at all the 5 star ratings now that we've had delivery from here. I had the char chicken - it was dry and flavorless inside. The potatoes were incredibly salty. I got a side Caesar with homemade dressing and I sincerely doubt that the dressing is homemade - tastes exactly like Kraft. Not tasty at all. Big point for the real bacon though. We also ordered the Flippers special and it was also super salty. It completely detracted from the flavor of the fish. Chicken fingers are cooked from frozen and dry, French fries are so dry they're hollow. In summary, the food tasted like a cross between airplane food and wedding buffet. Bonus points for portion size and sustainable packaging but unfortnately I don't think we'll be ordering from here again.

I went to Flippers with my daughter and from the time we entered the restaurant to the time we left, everything was perfect. Servers were full of smiles and very polite.. Food was also very delicious (hats off to the chef).

Ordered take out and it was absolutely delicious. We got the flipper's special and flipper's famous fish and chips. The batter was flavourful and not overtaking the fish. The flipper's special had a nice selection of what the restaurant offers. Will definitely come back.

Nice staff but many recent changes. Prices have increased substantially, and less food is served. No longer provide bread for the tablet - former salad bar is now a la carte, and now you get either rice or potatoes whereas you used to get both previously. I personally think I could have made a better meal myself. Again staff is super sweet but we won't be visiting again.

This restaurant is very aesthetic and provides their customers amazing, rich and delicious foods. Today I bought a seafood feast for two and it not only tasted amazing but had rich flavours and was cooked perfectly. This is my favorite restaurant here in scarborough. Amazing job!

I ordered the flippers famous fish and chips with fresh fries and a side of coslaw and it tasted amazing. The price was great and the Fish and chips were fresh, crispy, and tender. Loved the food can't wait till I order again!

On tuesday I ordered the poached whole lobster and the crispy skin arctic char and enjoyed the delicious food with my co workers. The food was cooked perfectly, especially the arctic char. It had so many flavours and it was great!

Ordered feisty seafood boat. This was supposed to be a combination of shrimp, mussels, scallops and calamari. I got like 3 pieces of calamari, 2 scallops and 2 shrimps. Rest was a whole lot of mussels. Very Disappointed.

I picked up 2 orders of 2 halibut & chips today. The batter wasn't as crisp as I like but I blame that on the time it took me to get it home. I was definitely happy with the portion size of the fish and the chips as well as the taste. All in all the food was tasty and I'll be back. Someone needs to create packaging to keep these types of food crisp until you get home lol.

I haven't had a well cooked fish in a long time and their food really hit the spot. The fish was perfectly cooked, tasty and fresh. We also had the potatoes, coleslaw, garlic bread, brownie and chicken fingers. Everything was well seasoned in different ways but wa tasty. I would definitely order again and look forward to eating there in person once covid restrictions ease up.

Just had the Flipper's special and while I would say 3.5 stars is more accurate, I'll just round up and explain. The filet is so tender and the vegetables with the medley rice cooked in oregano is really good. The filet sauce is also really good. But the fried stuff is just too oily and the overall portion compared to what you pay is a little on the small side.

I love me some halibut and chips but I find that finding places that make amazing halibut are few and far between these days but once I tried this establishment, I'm glad I've found a place to go that actually does it right and the service was good as well. I recommend trying it

We have a monthly meeting at Flipper's Fish House and can't be more pleased with the quality of their food and service. They care and make our lunches very special for us. Thank you everyone at Flipper's for what you do.
