Came here as I heard of this spot and I was in the area. Ordered steak on a Kaiser and a Greek salad to go. I was a little dissaponted that it cost around 20$ for both. The staff was friendly but very preoccupied as this place had a good amount of a customers at a time, however the wait was in a timely manner. The steak was juicy and flavorful, the bun was a little big and fluffy. The Greek sale Awad very good with a good amount of eqch topping. The dressing was a good amount and was spread throughout the salad which many places might miss. Would definitely come back here again however for the burger and maybe some fries. The ambiance is average for most old school diners with seating on a bench outside. Support local businesses especially ones that have been in the neighborhood for a long time.

5 stars! Hidden scarboro gem, cash only! We bought 3 cheese burgers and a large fries and 3 drinks, roughly $25 which is great value for the money the portions are very generous. Classic bun, the best pickles I’ve ever had, delicious burger. The patty itself is just a standard frozen burger, but it’s got that classic childhood nostalgia. The service was great, the chefs and the woman on the cash were super friendly. I will definitely come back, want to try the Greek salad and souvlaki here, they were pumping them out and they looked amazing. Can’t beat the price and classic tastes of this place! Thanks Harry’s!

First time trying Harry’s Drive-In and, we had a solid experience. We ordered take-out consisting of a Homemade Burger with Extra Cheese and Onion Rings, a Chicken Souvlaki on a bun with French Fries and Gravy; and, two milkshakes. The food was very tasty and juicy, almost too messy but, in a good way. The ingredients were fresh and the portions were filling. The onion rings were delicious although a little too doughy compared to other traditional batters (that could be a good thing). Overall, nothing fancy but, everything was satisfying for an ordinary dinner night. The service was friendly although it seemed a little slow to me, considering that there was almost nobody in front of us but, they still took good care of us.

Read some of the recent reviews and apparently they recently changed owners here? 🤷 I wonder if the sweet lady working at cashier is still there (she's a senior) she's very polite and calls every customer 'dear' 🥺 I came here twice before and I had the Homemade Burger and the Double Burger. The patties are so so good! There's a nice char on them and they're a good size too - the size of your hand. They ask what toppings you want at the counter (pickles, relish, iceberg lettuce, tomatoes, onions, ketchup, mayo, mustard)

This used to be excellent food when Harry owned it. The new owners changed the quality of the food and it tastes horrible they should change the name as it is not anything like Harry's used to be, and price gone up won't be coming here again I'd rather go to Harvey's they just lost 10 customers from my house hold alone.

I decided to try this place because it had the small business look and feel, a testament to my parents who owned & operated a restaurant for 27 years. Upon entering, a young lady greeted me and asked if I knew what I wanted, while she was wrapping up the order for another customer. That gave the cooks a head start on grilling or preparing my order. I saw a sign at the cash register with a few specials and I immediately honed in on the Homemade Burger Combo $8.95 as a can’t go wrong choice. Maybe the outside sign that said “Homemade Hamburgers” was a subliminal thought that was planted already! Well, the choice of toppings were fresh and the bun seemed to make the whole homemade burger taste phenomenal. Wow!!! The fries were crispy and I selected a can of Coke Zero as my drink. I was able to enjoy the meal on the patio even with heavy traffic buzzing by. Great customer service and a fantastic meal for $10.10 taxes in. I will return to sample other items!

I love the onion rings here! I often come just for those. They remind me of donuts. Onion rings donuts. The dough is large and fluffy but crispy on the outside. They aren't your typical onion rings, but in a good way. Their cheapest hamburger isn't good and uses processes tasting meat. But the homemade burger is great (the upgrade burger)! They make their own patties for it. The food is always freshly made, well worth the price!!

Owners have changed and so has the quality of the food. Burgers are still great. Greek salad is hefty but lacking. Fries are different and the once almighty pouting is a far cry from the old days. New owner is nice but might be cutting a few corners to save a few bucks. Still worth the trip but not as often as before.

The place is not as expected. You give with a good quantity but not the quality as expected. And also update your menu price and get a debit machine not an ATM.

Had home made burger combo and chicken burger, Gosh! Never tasted a tasty Burger ever since I came to Canada and I highly recommend Burger lovers to go check 'em out! Fast service, humble staffs and delicious food. When u go there just make sure to have cash. They don't accept credit/debit cards. Thanks guys fir the remarkable service you gave us.

After reading the reviews we decided to try their burger. I was surprised they only take cash, especially during covid times. We got the house burger combo, the burger was very salty, I couldn’t taste anything else, luckily their fries were lacking salt so it balanced it out.

We were craving for burgers and fries. We first thought of BK or Mc, and soon realized it, in addition to the low quality of them, they are not local and small businesses. We then decided to search for a burger joint in our neighbourhood. What a great idea! At Harry's, we got the burger combo and onion rings. Not disappointing at all. The burger patty and fries were cooked in front of me, right after I ordered it. The burger was assembled on my sight and it was delicious. We were brave enough to take our order home, I almost ate on the way though. At home, we enjoyed a great meal and satisfied our desire for a great burger with fries.

I wish they were open 24/7, I really love this place. It all starts with the custom service and the great meals for for prices. A MUST GO! Try the chicken on a pita with lots of lemon sauce 😋

One of my favourite places to eat. Been coming here for years. The food is cheap, and I would personally recommend their poutine as its large and filling but also reasonably priced.

A lot of these places are dying down but love the old school Cha grilled burger joints Was told this by a Scarborough resident and I must say I was in the area it's about a 40 minute drive from my house but it was well worth it as we went for a burger while we were in Scarborough. I love these old school mom and pop shops with good food Burger was fantastic onion rings were good fries were good worth the visit

Great place for a solid burger and fries for under $10. Their homemade burger is a very great size, fries and gravy are also recommended. They also had some chicken and fish dishes that I would definitely try if I go back.

Don't know how I got to be so late to the game at this place. The staff are very pleasant and wonderful to speak to. Working my way through the menu but it is so far, all really good. Prices are reasonable. Just go!

Great food best place but new owners new people, it doesn’t give the same vibe. When I used to go there they used to know me and my orders and everything but now they have new people. It’s just a different feelings all around. I’d still go there and love their food but the spark is gone now.

The burger was gross and the fish and chips was fool of oil! The best part of my food was sprite can! It doesn't worth the money that you are paying at all.

Love Harry’s have been going there for 20 years …. However this time when I ordered my normal order of Greek fries and hamburger I was really disappointed to open my fries and see it was just fries with regular cheese …. What happened to the feta?

I use to work in the area and when ever I get the chance I will drop into Harry's. It seems like that had a few owners change, not 100% sure. But their delightful onion rings and home made cheese burger still taste great, u won't need any sauce on it just get it with ur favorite veggie! Love their out door dining space not too busy.

Moved into the area almost a year ago and I've gotta say these guys know how to make a mean burger. The fries and onion rings are always super crispy and fresh. The gravy is just right too. The new owners are very sweet. Always our go-to burger joint when we're looking for a fast, delicious dinner. Reminder that they are cash only y'all!

Family has been eating at Harry's since the 60's...I have very fawn memories stopping in for a burger, onion rings and sometimes a shake. Haven't eaten here in years but glad to see it's still going strong.

Home burger was good but thin. Wasn't aware this is only a CASH only place. This day and age 99% of businesses take DEBIT. Also staff should wear masks over their nose.

I’ve ordered food from here recently on Uber eats (the chicken souvlaki dinner) and I really enjoyed it! The food was hot and fresh. Chicken was very tender and juicy and flavourful and i also enjoyed the tzatziki.

First time going back since 1989! Still looks exactly the same. Food tastes awesome like 31 years ago😋👍. Will go back more frequently, not every 31 years😉👍.

Pretty decent burger combo. I got the homemade burger combo. Which was $11 everything included. And to note they don't credit/debit you need to have cash at hand. The fries weren't the best they seemed very meh like taken out of the freezer and then just fried and server. The burger was pretty good but it is on the more softer side not much of crunch. I would have like the buns to be more fluffy but it works out still. I would definitely check it out again but I'd avoid the combo and just get the burgers.

I expected better after seeing the reviews and someone recommending me to go. I got charged for a combo when I didn’t ask for one, I went with it didn’t complain. Got the homemade burger with bacon and cheese, the meat wasn’t really flavourful at all, my friend said he saw the meat go on the grill and it didn’t appear too fresh. For the same price or maybe less I could have got an angus burger next door at Harvey’s and that would have tasted better. Friendly staff though and fair pricing, I would come back and try the souvlaki or steak on a bun.

I have chicken souvlaki dinner my favourite! Chicken is never dry and properly cook. I have tried almost all the menu and they never disappoint me. It’s clean, and great service.

This place is a part of Scarborough History!!! Wish there was more locations. Love it. My mom and I used to come here all the time. Now she's gone and everytime I come here its so bitter sweet because it reminds me of good times with my Mom

Classic burger and Greek fast food joint with unique flavours. The home made burger is large, juicy and delicious - top it with “homemade sauce” to plus it up! Fries are hand cut and perfectly golden. Burger toppings are fresh and bright. The price is also right- top quality at fair prices but be aware: this place is cash-only (there’s an ATM though)

CASH ONLY!!! Great place and amazing service. The gyro on a pita was only $6.30 which is so crazy. The service was quick and staff was very friendly. I will definitely be coming back and trying out things on the menu.

I've eaten here For a long time the experience I had tonight Was bad The Onion rings they weren't the same. I could of got them. anywhere even at food basics. I ordered the home Burger. I don't know what they put in it. But it was the worst experience I've ever had. There's no way I'm gonna go back there. I heard the original owners of Harry's own Cathy's on Kennedy road. That is a place to go in Scarborough.

My wife hadn't been back since she left Scarborough when she was a teenager. We stopped in after a doctor's appointment and we're pleasantly surprised with their homemade burger special. Amazing conversation with the owner and fantastic food. Brought back a lot of memories for my wife.

My boss asked me to arrange a staff luncheon and he suggested this place. I called and the owner asked me to email my order a day before I wanted to pick it up. We were feeding 12 ppl. Not only was everything ready on time, but they wrote everyone's name on each order so I wouldn't have to open everything. The food was delicious, the salads were fresh, and I will definitely be going back on my own when I don't feel like cooking. Thank you Soula

Very impressed by how good the homemade burger tastes with basic toppings. I didn't even have cheese on mine. Too bad I hardly come by this way.

This place used to be great, however; a few years ago something happened and the food quality changed. Not sure if there was new owners or the Cook/Chef changed but they are nowhere near as good as they used to be. Similar food, but the taste has just changed, was not impressed at all this last time I ate there, sorry
