The crispy Chicken breast and wings were pretty good , real nice flavour and salty …. Nice and krispy too. BUT the Caesar salad was absolutely blah and nothing appealing about it at all, it was poorly done. Even the Caesar dressing was pretty bad. DO NOT get the chicken nuggets or the mashed potatoes!! The chicken nuggets were horrible. The little container of mashed potatoes was awful , it tasted like watered down milk , it didn’t taste like potatoes at all …. But customer service was awesome ! They were real nice and friendly .

If you can have it delivered, i would suggest that. The employees are nice. The food is ok. The people who revolve this store are out there. Do not bring your family here. Altercations with some of the city’s worse individuals eat from this location on Monday’s and Tuesday’s because of the $4.00 deal box. If you value yourself, and have morale standards , keep driving or have it delivered. This area has become drug induced with people off there rockers. Help this helps you stay out of jail 😀😎

I miss the Chick N Joy at Midland and Eglintion so traveled to the kingston rd location and the chicken, gravey and biscuit taste great as I remembered. The price has gone up but it understandable yet still affordable. The chicken isnt as greasy like KFC and Popeyes and yet the quality still there. The biscuit taste great as always.

I love getting their Mon/Tue special of 2 piece dark meat with fries(lots o' fries). It used to be like $4.35, but the price just went up to about $5.25. The value is still there though. Tastes very good but a tad bit salty. 😊

Honestly they would have got a 5 star for me but they turned away someone who was hungry and was broke like so many people right now. He had some change and some money on his card. They told him no. They can’t take cash and card. Yes you can. He looked thin. I felt bad because I had just enough money for my family otherwise I would have bought it. Chicken Joy do better, people are struggling. If someone is coming there to get food and has money how dare you turn them away? Whether they pay cash or debit or both. Very upsetting

I've been eating chick n joy since I was a kid and I have never once been disappointed. If you want a classic fried chicken this is the spot! Macaroni salad is perfect too. If you want a crispy, flavour packed fried chicken, this is the spot!

CHICK•N•JOY is delicious. Definitely far better than any of the large chicken chain conglomerates. The chicken pieces are much larger and that leads to a thicker skin, more taste with a satisfying crunch and texture. The chicken recipe is Right On along with the other selections. The French Fries are great and you get alot more of them than you would expect from all of those other chicken restaurants. CHICK•N•JOY sells burgers, salads, bread, mashed potatos, gravey, beverages and they have a alot of other items on their menu. The prices are fair and compared to all other restaurants CHICK•N•JOY wins in the category of fast food chicken joints hands down. Large parking lot for those of us who drive and easy access for those of you who take public transit. I've been a customer of CHICK•N•JOY for over 40 years and they taught ME good chicken. If you want good chicken you're at the right place. NO DOUBT 5 STARS ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Have been coming here for years and the food is always great. The staff are friendly and the store is always clean. I love the Macaroni salad and the Biscuits, especially dipped in the gravy. The Fries are awesome but they also have homemade Taters, Onion Rings and Mashed Potatoes. If you order for delivery they package everything in a tamper proof bag to ensure safety. Will continue to dine here as long as the quality and service stay the same.

The chicken is good. Nice and crispy and not overcooked. I see some people commenting that it's salty - it is, but I guess that's why I like it. The fries, however, are bad. Not crispy at all and soaked with oil. I think the next time I get chicken I'll get fries from somewhere else.

One of the top best chicken I’ve ever tasted. Not only are the chicken meat always fresh, juicy and cooked into perfection, they come neatly packaged into safe bags/boxes for you. Toronto is absolutely blessed to have this chicken store around especially with their amazing costumer service.

Some of the best chicken in the neighborhood. On Monday or Tuesday when you don't want to over pay for a burger they are fantastic. I've been going there for over 15 years. Even friends or family members from out of town would rather go there than KFC or popeyes chicken. The only thing annoying is you'll ALWAYS get a customer or two becoming impatient when there is a massive line for the specials and someone always makes a joke about how long the food takes to arrive. Free entertainment I suppose.

Update—the phone number never answers. You cannot even call this place. I was offered this place on Uber. I ordered and the time was 90 + minutes for delivery. I tried to cancel right away and they wanted $30. Uber is not helping either. So basically the restaurant and Uber think bring food from Kingston and Lawrence to Dundas and Greenwood in rush hour makes sense. The food will be horrible from sitting and the impact on the environment is disgusting. Shame on both of these businesses for not fixing this and charging me $30 to cancel their mistake. I will email media outlets about this experience.

Been coming here since i was a little kid im 40 now grew up in the area.Introduced this chicken to many people who all agree its the best theyve had.I order only the chicken amd fries and gravy other people seem to enjoy the salads but i dont like mayo.The girls workjng there are always friendly and work very hard.

Is Customer Service a thing of the past? Placed my order which clearly says "Contact me" if you do not have what I have ordered. CNJ decides to send me what they think I'd like, and to make matters worse tried to explain themselves when I called. That will be my last order.

I came here with somewhat low expectations given it is just take out. I was quite surprised. The fries were a little uncooked for my liking, the chicken and gravy were both tasty and quite filing. 3 stars is because of the fries and there is no drink option with a combo.

Friendly staff delicious hot tasting chicken . only problem is with the Styrofoam container that holds the gravy if it's too hot or you let it sit in the container too long sometimes you can see a white residue from the Styrofoam form along the edge of the gravy

I like it here but they are too cheap to fix the washroom or let you use it...I come for my lunch during work, I want to wash my hands before I eat. Unacceptable...wont be back until washroom is usable. FTR I often used to spend 80-100 dollars here to bring food for the guys I work with.

Went to collect some food at this location and I noticed the door handle to go inside was busted, I notified the reps inside, immediately after I left they came outside and looked at it, upon doing so the representative noticed a customer standing with his pet dog, and to my surprise! The employee touched the animal and rubbed its head and then left and touched the same door and went back inside, this is a total turn off and it makes me think if these restaurants really for the proper guidelines and if they know that their serving people food to eat, and with all this virus’s and things going on, I believe they should know better.

Got the Monday special and it was delicious. Fries were not greasy and slightly sweet. Chicken was yummy. Good service. I can recommend.
