Family of four adults came in on a Monday evening during winter time, being the only table/guests in the entire restaurant, yes, one table of guests only, with one waitress so it is one server per table. We were here for about 1.5 hour and were still the only table. Ordered a set dinner with abalone, fish maw soup, fish, chicken, veggie and plain noodle with soup. Each dish were tasty on the first few bites and then you will find they are very heavily seasoned and became more and more salty as you take more bites till I was starting to feel numb on my tongue half way in the dinner, too much MSG! Food service were fast since we are the only one table there out of 25. The fish maw soup is nothing like the normal fish maw soup I ever had, it was just like fish maw dipped in a savory sauce. The soy chicken is tasteless once the skin is removed so they did not marinate the chicken at all. Fish fried ok, but the type of fish doesn't taste good and contain too much small bones. Veggie and noodles are too heavily seasoned. The abalone is the only dish I feel is good. Overall, all the dishes were way over seasoned, price is way too high for this quality of cooking. This set dinner is $268 plus tax, and they only take cash/debit, no credit card as payment option. Will NOT come again and DO NOT recommended.

Steam pot, an alternative way for a healthy meal. 1st time came here, definitely will go back again. Sea foods are freshy, skewers are tender and with the ending soup from all the steaming ingredients. This meal is beyond my expectations. However, if you have an extremely taste and hardcore. Maybe you won’t like it that much. ‘Fish, Lobster & Crab combo 1.0’ is good only for two : ) with its portion(although it says for 4 ppl). So if you have 3+ people, choose 2.0+ combo will make more sense. Oh, ‘Dine in Only’ for the steam pot. Hot pot can order takeout. And my server tonight she is 👍🏻.

I tried a $99 dinner set and it was really great value and delicious! The dinner set came with a pork intestine soup and chicken with veggies and noodles on the side to add in. There was also lobster, crispy pork, fried fish and two little veggie apps. This set could definitely feed 3 people since it felt like a LOT of food for 2. The soup tasted good with a lot of meat! And the lobster was fresh and tasted great. I felt like this was a great value for the price. We also went on a week night so it’s less busier and I personally felt the service was nice and attentive. It’s worth checking out for classic chinese dishes.

Food was ok. We ordered the steam pot menu with seafood. Portion is a little small but enough for 4 small eater adult. Service was average as there are only 2-3 staffs serving the whole store. Sometimes we need to wait for a while before someone can see us trying to order extra.

I was unimpressed. For the price I paid, I had dirty dishes when I sat down, I had to send the glasses back twice to get clean ones, and the fish was not descaled properly. I sent it back and the second one came back still not properly descaled. We gave up and took off the scales ourselves. We know the difference between scales and skin, my wife likes to eat the skin.

This is an interesting and fun experience for me as most of the food are cooked (Steam) in front of you on your table. Their highlight is seafood and they are really fresh during my visit They had a lots of set menu for different numbers of guests from 4 to 10 people at a reasonable price. Most seafood are steamed and they give you some special sauce for it. Actually steaming make the seafood taste really fresh to me and I like it. Some items are cooked from the kitchen and it is very tasty as well. They are not busy during my visit and our server is really attractive to us. We can't finish our soups and they put it in a container for us to bring home that I actually can use it right on our stove to re-heat... Amazing! Parking can be a challenge but is not bad.

A large seafood emporium specializes in steamed seafoods at your table, super fresh lobster, crabs & geoducks direct from the massive tanks, nice warm atmosphere with busy vibe, large menu with large selection of combo dinners, friendly and efficient staff.

TAKE OUT | Won a crab from them from a random contest. It’s not “free” as I had to pay the tax on the value of the dish (crab’s value was $55, so I paid $7.15). Flavour was great and the packaging was very unique.

This re-visit gave us even a better feeling about the restaurant. We have steam wok with seafood plus the famous geoduck which is in promotion. All seafoods are really fresh and service was much better. Staff is friendly and efficient. I would recommend. We had the geoduck sashimi. The geoduck is fresh with high quality. It is crumbly and tasted really good. Other dishes are average. The services are nice but the night we were here was a bit under staffed. Service staff were busy and dishes came quite slowly. Overall it is still a great experience as the Geoduck is what we are heading for.

*** Second Visit Review *** Very disappointed. Went to this place for my friend's birthday (his first time) Made a reservation but still have to wait 10 minutes before we get our table due to under staff. We ordered the same combo as the first time. It took very 45mins after order to get the soup. Service was very slow due to under staff. By the time we got the raw seafood at our table was 90 mins after we sat down. In general, the portion was smaller. Lobsters were small; maybe just 1lb each, crabs were not meaty. The worst part is the fresh fish, not bass (gave us 鱸魚) without saying anything to us . We dont see any bass in the fish tank. I don't think we will be going back to this place. *** First Visit Review *** Honestly, the price is pretty good with all the food you are getting. Lobsters, Albany sashimi, crabs, fancy chicken soup, big Chinese mushrooms (as big as your hand - cooked), tulips (well seasoned - cooked), handmade noodles, seafood congee and veggies for under $400. Waitresses always have a smile on their face and are very polite. Also, they don't oversold food to you, unlike other lobster places. Something different (steamed), healthy and yummy. Worth a try if you never been to a steam house restaurant. Not like those boiled stuff with lots of sauce. Their simple and tasty sauces (2 kind) really make a difference.

Since I worked nearby therefore I figured it would be a good time to try this establishment out. We reserved a spot and the Hot Pot Combo 1.0 therefore there was no wait and we got to the eating part in no time. The soup base is excellent, and all the ingredients, including seafood, poultry, beef and vegetables, are very fresh( our lobster was still moving when served). Clean and pleasant environment, plus a few very active and polite staff. The price, however, is a bit on the more expensive side. Yet, given the experience provided by the host and current state of inflation, I would still call it a good experience overall.

I'm honestly not too sure what my family ordered, but boy was it good. We ordered for takeout and it was ready upon arrival. It was some sort of pork stomach and chicken soup, and came with noodles and other ingredients. The soup was extremely hot and flavourful, which was perfect for a cold night :)

Get one of the sets with geoduck sashimi - highly recommend! We ordered super combo 7.0 (advertised for 4-5 peopler) for the four of us and it was a decent amount of food, with a bit left over. If we had a fifth person, it would’ve been a perfect amount - not too much and not too little. I was so happy to see geoduck sashimi on the menu, as not many places serve this. So would recommend this if you’re here. The rest of the food was also top notch, particularly the crispy roast pig with Japanese sauce. They also had these steamers in the middle of the table, where they could cook your food right in front of you. We didn’t get to try this, but seems like an interesting option. The prices are decent for the amount/quality of food you’re getting. Bring cash or debit - I believe they accepted these only. I look forward to bring my parents here next time!

Good quality of meat and the packaging for the soup base is good. Great option for hot pot without buying 10 million of things for more varieties and end up have lots of leftovers.

Lovely and spacious restaurant with fish tanks surrounding the whole dining area. Current promotions features steamed seafood with great soup bases for $200/300/400+ Some great hotpot combos with delicacy seafoods prepared for you to perfection. Corkage fee is $10/ 750mL bottle Service was great. Highly recommended

Came here after purchasing a Groupon deal for 4 for the lobster and pork skewers. The food was fantastic and the service was great. This place is definitely an experience! Your meal is steamed in a gondola on the table. There's also a sauce section where you can make your own sauce. I will definitely be coming back with friends.

This place is really fancy, you wouldn't even expect it until you go inside. You mainly have to pre-order everything. It's the type of spot you would go to celebrate a special occasion with a big group. And, the lobster was 5/5 for sure. Everything was fresh. The service was really good & they even have robot servers to add to the experience. Probably one of the most hygienic restaurants I have ever been too, the utensils were wrapped, wipes available, etc. The also took a lot of care with packing up the leftovers. The bathroom even ties into the sea theme & very cute, your kids might not leave.

Seafood is tasty and fresh. Combo carry great value. Service can sometimes be somehow slow but definitely tolerable. P.S. the pepper on the sauce plate is extremely spicy. Proceed with caution if you can’t too much spicy.

The service and environment are good. But only would give 4 stars for the overall food experience. The lobsters are fresh, love the foie gras on toasted bread. The only thing I didn’t like is the spaghetti. The seasoning and taste was weird, way to hard to chew and not fully cooked.

This was a very unique experience. I've never been to a restaurant like this and it was cool to try. I had no idea that they would be steaming the seafood at your table so it was cool to watch. All the seafood we got was very fresh and bc everything was steamed, it was very healthy. The only downside was that it was kind of plain. They give you a couple dipping sauces but that's it. In our dinner set we also got these deep fried abalones that were probably my fave item. I also really liked the steamed clams and mussels. Overall the food was good but for a combo for 5 people, we actually didn't come out full. I could've still eaten more, so I recommend adding a rice or noodle dish to your dinner. Also for some reason the restaurant was really cold inside. I noticed other customers eating with their coats on and I was shivering the moment our table was no longer cooking. Also because it is table cooking, your clothes will come out smelling like kitchen so try not to wear anything too fancy lol

This review is based on November 11 (Remembrance Day) The good: The good thing about this place is the place is very comfortable to sit and dine. The place wasn’t full / packed but there a lot of spatial to maneuver (unlike hot pot places where there’s no seats or place to stand). This place will have those extra space to wait even if it is full. The food was great, we ordered the $188 seafood and vegetables (we are a family of three). The server will steam your food (you don’t have to do anything else other than wait for the steam process to finish). There is also a recessed bucket on the table to throw the food waste (you don’t need to get the server to collect and change your plates every once in awhile). The men’s washroom is clean and not smelly, hygiene was maintained well. The Bad Towards the end when I come back from washroom, I a server counting the money my family put on the bill. When I went to the table, the waitress says “there not enough tips”, we were short $10.00. First of all, tipping is not by-law nor or “a must” in Canada. Secondly, the waiter / waitress is not allowed to say this (if I am the server, I will NOT say there’s not enough tips!!!). Moving forward, I replied to this server, we will count again, and she fumbled the bill booklet and coins dropped (what a disaster). At the end, we gave enough tips (10%), but I want to point out the fact that this waitress is not allowed to say there is not enough tips. If table service is satisfactory, customers will tip accordingly. I want to point out there were two female waitress. One wears glasses and speaks Cantonese and one speaks mandarin and doesn’t wear glasses. The one who said there is not enough tips is “waitress with glasses”. This is really disappointing, I highly suggest the management to instruct their staff about “tipping in Canada”. I myself will also raise this concern with local government, this is not the first restaurant I have seen with waiters / waitress issues on tips.

the food is not fresh and not worth the price. the menu also said that the combo was for 4 ppl. however, we only had 2 adults and a 4-yr old, i feel like the dish was not enough (it should be 3 pounds lobster but we only get 1 pound) to be honest, with price over $250, there're lot more options than this restaurant

I wanna rate 0 star but there’s no such option. It was an extremely bad dining experience. Staff is not attentive and food is not so good to be worth the price I paid. I ordered the easy hot pot but they didn’t provide any condiments until I asked. The waitress said she forgot. Never coming back again.
