Long overdue since I have been following Scotty Bons on social media for while. Ordered the Oxtail Bowl with hot sauce. It was good. Ample rice and peas, coleslaw, diced tomato, corn. The place was busy, most orders were for delivery. For a small place it was loud, especially since were more way more people working and only two people being served. Since there were lots of delivery orders, expect to wait. They did the online orders before serving people - not a common thing but I get it. When it was my turn, the server was soft spoken and patient. The options were straightforward - price was a little high compared to other Caribbean food places but portions was nice! Patties were good too, if your are a connoisseur you can find better. Worth trying again.

A M A Z I N G !! Super simple and easy menu to order from. The atmosphere is clean and bright and welcoming. And the food is AMAZING! BBQ Chicken Sandwich, soooooo good! Lots of options to customize your meal just the way you want. Will definitely be returning.

Delicious and a lot of food. Ordered the jerk chicken meal and oxtail meal and both came out perfect and one meal is definitely enough to feed two small people or one large. For the oxtail I asked to make it extra hot and oh boy was it hot... and I like spicy foods but it was the maximum amount of heat I would like to enjoy.

The Jerk chicken sandwich is spicy and its great! The size of their sandwich meat is large and makes for a great value meal as well. Definitely a sandwich I want to grab on the go from time to time. Their jerk fries is good too. Nice to discover there are more Halal Caribbean food options (although their beef patties are Non Halal). The staff were nice and they were quick to prepare the food. The restaurant seemed neat and clean. They have more items in their menu that I want to try as well in the future (curious about the seafood and oxtail).

I visited Scarborough location for first time. The young lady was very helpful in telling me about their menu. I ordered the oxtail bowl with rice and peas, channel, coleslaw and corn salad as the sides. The portion was nice and large. The food tasted great, lots of gravy and the hot sauce and chutney sauce were a lovely addition. Happy I visited and I will be back.

This is an amazing Caribbean place serving freshly prepared food. You can choose the base and gravies in your bowl asking with the toppings you wish to add. All the food was really flavourful and delicious. The prices are good too. Their portion sizes are huge which is another plus. Definitely coming back here!

First time visiting here! A cute little restaurant with the delicious Caribbean food. I had two sandwiches (jerk chicken and shrimp), and two bowls (jerk chicken and Cajun fish). Overall I would say that the portion sizes were generous in the food is delicious. I tried ordering an advance and no one answered the phone. So that's the only part that I would improve. Big shout out to these guys. Amazing jerk chicken, amazing BBQ chicken sandwiches . One sandwich is enough for your dinner. Great price and faster service.

I think I’m going to have to move to Scarborough. I ordered the jerk chicken sandwich, added the toppings I wanted. Sooo good. They have a nice spicy sauce. Lots of flavour. I’m sad I only bought one sandwich. Definitely will be back when I’m in the area.

Amazing food. Got the jerk chicken sandwich and was very good. The menu is simple but the food is really good. Not the biggest parking lot but not bad. A place to grab and go anyway. Ordered online as well and even online orders have amazing quality. The service is good as well and they are quick. The beef Patty's here are solid as well.

I was very surprised when I first had bbq chicken sandwich here. Even jerk shrimp bowl is great. And after that got very much addicted and regular at this place. Staff is super friendly and nice. Good good quality and quantity. I would just request if they can fix the restroom as it’s out of service since few weeks.

Whenever I’m in the area it’s a must that I stop in at Scotty bons. I’ve been coming here since they opened. The jerk chicken bowl is my go-to dish. Everything they mix into it goes so well together. The pineapple salsa with the heat of the jerk chicken is such a great combination

Came here for a juicy jerk chicken bowl and it did NOT miss 👌🏽 My man has been talking about Scotty Bons for the longest time so we finally came. We both got the Jerk Chicken bowl which was so tender, juicy and well seasoned! I pretty much got all the sides: Coleslaw, Chickpea Curry, Rice & Peas and Vegetable Rice (with the Scotty sauce). Honestly so good! 🤤 You get a nice size portion for your money: for a man it’s one serving and I’d say for a woman a half portion (atleast for me lol - lasted 2 meals/days 😉). We also got the Jerk Wings which were equally as juicy & flavourful 👌🏽 I’ll be coming back to try the Jerk Shrimp and the (stuffed) Patty 😬

Absolutely super delicious and price is very fair ! Bbq chicken is the bomb ! Everything tasted so so good and fantastic service ! Can’t wait to try their food !

Delicious food and excellent service. The jerk chicken bowl is our favourite. Chicken is perfectly seasoned and not dry.

It's a good spot but they really screwed up the order this time. I found a cut corner of a piece of plastic in my plate today (see pic) that I choked on. Kindly review and update your food prep procedures to ensure this does not happen to other customers

Wallahi this was by far the best jerk chicken & oxtail I've ever had. Huge portions, plenty of flavour, and generous servings of meat. Will definitely come back, even though it's out of the way.

Tasty and reasonably priced. I'll be going back. I selected the bowl option. You choose your protein and then can add different topics. Cheese is extra $. I got it with everything and it all worked so well together. They got fresh, spicy, pickled options. Very good

Great spot for fresh and tasty sandwiches, bowls and roti! Today, I grabbed some jerk wings and jerk fries. The jerk seasoning on the wings were great with the perfect amount of heat. My only bone to pick is that some were more done than the others. The jerk fries were tasty.

First time trying. And it is “ok”. The rice and peas, coleslaw are good. The bbq chicken flavours were there but nothing crazy. But the texture is as if the meat sits under a warmer and gets dry. Not a fan but it was a decent meal to fill my stomach. Portions are good. I’d prefer a place that actual grills their meat as they serve

This place is straight 🔥🔥🔥 Prices are good, chicken is hella flavorful, portions are great and the sauces are nice. Might have found my favorite jerk chicken sandwich. Definitely coming back again and maybe bringing some of my homies next time.

Oh soooooo good. I found this place on google maps, so close to home too so it was perfect. I didn’t expect the jerk chicken bowl to be as huge as it is but it made for a great meal split into two. I got the base as rice and peas, veggie curry, and one more thing I can’t remember but it wasn’t rice. Toppings were tomatoes, cilantro, coleslaw, corn. Got the Scotty sauce and I was good to go. Amazing amazing amazing quality, freshness, and taste. Definitely going to come back again.

Order ahead via Google map listing. So easy and quick. In fact, I find this location to be much quicker than the downtown store. I love that the toppings are all free of charge and the food is very inexpensive considering the big portions and quality. There's a few indoor seats and some outdoor picnic tables. Highly recommend. Wheelchair accessible.

I purchased 4 of their beef patties at almost $3 per patty and was surprised to find 4 supermarket patties instead of the regular trapezoid shaped ones. I called the store to complain and they told me that they didn’t receive any shipments of the regular patties that they normally get so they sold these instead. I should have actually paid more attention to what the patties looked like before ordering, but a quick heads up by the staff would have been appreciated. I tasted the ones given to me and they’re definitely inferior. Be careful when ordering. They should just have said they were out of stock instead of selling these cheap ones If I wanted supermarket patties, I would have gone to Walmart or No Frills.
