I caught the "Fancy Goldfish" bug after assuming care of a neglected pond. I started by overwintering pond fish in an indoor aquarium & I now have 3 indoor aquariums:) It's not easy to find high quality, healthy or rare goldfish varieties in Canada. I discovered Proaquatic via on-line gold-fish fancier forums & was VERY impressed with their well maintained, clean shop, crystal clear aquarium water, healthy & obviously well cared fish. They offer an excellent variety of superior quality, less common fancy goldfish and koi - great stock for selection & really great on-line updates with pictures so you know what's on offer:) Top marks for customer service, the owner/staff are very accessible with fast response time to emails/messages and follow up after purchase. I decided to start a fancy goldfish tank with my 120 gallon. I bought 12 fancies at Proquatics and 6+months later I'm happy to say all my fish are thriving and colorful as ever. I bought 3 thai orandas, 3 red and white orandas, 3 calico orandas, 2 ranchus and a black moor. These have easily become my favorite fish I've ever owned. They are so friendly and have unique personalities. The fish have seen steady growth and their fins and tails are long and flowing. Proquatics has become my go to store for most of my aquarium supplies. Tony and Dave are very knowledgeable and friendly. Their tanks are crystal clear and their livestock is vibrant and full of energy. You won't find a sick or dead fish in here, which is very important to me as you get peace of mind that you're getting the best quality livestock for the best price. You really need to go in there and see for yourself, you'll fall in love with fancies.

I met the owner at Magic Aquarium when I first got into the Fancy Goldfish hobby featuring ranchus. He introduced me to his store aka Vquatics. Although his store is a 15 minute drive from home, I often find myself visiting their shop regularly to learn more about the hobby and just check out their nice fishes. The owner is very busy but he’s also very knowledgeable and nice when you ask him questions. His employee has the same positive attitude towards customers and fish. I like how they are very considerate when selling their fish, they make sure they are in pristine conditions before selling them to customers. Nice fancy goldfish are hard to find in Toronto and I was fortunate enough to secure 3 at a good deal from the owner. I will be returning for their next shipment Only feedback id give is it would be better if owner was more responsive to inquiries. My calls didn’t go through and I had to drive to ask his workers small questions about my order

This store is specialize in Gold Fish and Koi only but their inventory is high quality. Big Al's, pet smart and competitor has nothing compared to Proaquatics.

Honestly it's hard to find decent gold fish in Toronto at times, and when I decided I wanted to get back into gold fish I ended up finding these guys at proaquatics, and if your a fish guy your definitely gonna feel at home here, knowledgable and really helpful people, and i found some amazing fish there. Really looking forward to see them grow up. Thanks again :)

Thanks to the twin who were manning the shop. Very knowledgeable, very helpful. Good selection of variety to fill a tank. But watchout it’s kinda pricey on fish and supplies. NO discount. Hack, they are closest to me so time saved offset the prices. Got a Betta from them, beautiful, his (or her?) food (great dry red 🪱worm imitations $10…small pack size, Made In Japan), and just got a mini external filtration pump $20 as well! Looking good!

Vquatics is your go-to Fancy Goldfish Aquarium store. They have extremely hospitable and welcoming employees, who are very knowledgable of all fish, and answer any questions you may have. They're selections of goldfish are so unique and special and I can definitely vouch for this store, and I highly recommend anyone in the aquarium hobby to visit them at least once! They will not dissapoint you. I adopted 2 of my babies from this store and they're thriving and are very happy now. 10/10 store!

I was last here about 3 years ago but the fish stock is still exceptional. Their goldfish is high quality as always. They have ventured into discus as well. There were some beautiful angelfish as well that you don't usually get from local fish stores. Prices are not the best but you might overlook that because of awesome and healthy livestock. It is not a very big store and there are some repairs or renovation going on. Aquarium supplies are not extensive but you come here for the fish. Staff are friendly and accommodating. Will surely come more often this time around.

Tucked away middlefield north of Finch a bit. It’s the second plaza. Parking is limited especially when it’s busy. Small store if you’re comapring to Big Al’s, lots of big headed fish and koi. Store owner is really friendly. Update: So the place has new owners and they are expanding their inventory to include salt water fish. Not sure how the new ownership will turn out. They are active on their Instagram page.

Was referred to Vquatics by a family member. They specialize in Koi fishes and have many other fishes as well. Went here to buy community fishes (Cardinals, Glow and Guppies) for my home tank. Vin was super helpful and was very knowledgeable. Prices were very reasonable and cheaper to other aquatic retailers. Thank you Vin! Will be back soon for more fishes!

Super friendly staff. The store and tanks were immaculately kept. They had a good variety of fish predominantly of the koi and high end goldfish variety but had some gorgeous larger rare fish as well.

I got 3 fancy goldfishes from them and they are healthy and thriving! Had them shipped to my house the next day. Vincent was communicative the whole time 😊

I’ve been going here for year now for my fancy goldfish (Ranchu and Oranda). The staff Vince and Jenny are extremely helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. It’s always a wonderful experience coming here. Great selection, honest opinions, good pricing and loyal service. Strongly recommend! (Side note, they also have beautiful koi selection)

The best store to buy different types of goldfish and other freshwater fish. Also the best customer service I ever experienced when buying fish. Jennifer did a great job in taking care of us and our goldfish. That's why, my wife and I, and also my friends keep on coming back for more fish! Lol 😆😆😆🤣

The place for Goldfish and Koi. They have the best selection of goldfish and koi in all of GTA. Lots of variation of fancy goldfish. All tanks and fish are well maintained.

Still the good place with variety of fish selections. Basement location and the narrow setup making this please a bit challenging for this era.

Huge variety of thai oranda gold fish selection.

People were nice and very knowledgeable, but I bought 3 ranchus and 2 out of the 3 were deformed. One had a swim bladder problem and no longer can swim properly and the other passed away and had a deformity in her mouth. Sadly alot of the goldfish there will probably be deformed it seems like they get the end of the stick for the baby goldfish. I would probably never buy baby goldfish from here again. This has been the most devastating and heart breaking experience I've had with the ranchus. Buy them as adults thier adults are beautiful but don't buy the babies because honestly only one out of the 3 has been healthy and it breaks my heart. I've done everything in my power for them medications, food, water changes, constantly checking parameters but sadly to no avail. Do your research.

Great selection of goldfish, which is what I was looking for, and the person helping me was very helpful without being pushy in making sure my tank was set up and the water was tested prior to me getting my fish home. Pretty obvious these folks love and know how to take care of some very beautiful fish! Will be going here for further supplies and questions when I need them

Bought 3 large ranchus from here! You can tell the people that work here love what they do. They take care and maintain the fish very well! Will definitely be back for some more

Bought two females and one male one month ago, now my little tank is full in totall 45 of them... first time was the day I purchased them, they delivered the way home. Second time was new year at 1st January. 3RD time was Christmas Eve. 😂
