There are 2 receptionists in this clinic and they rarely answer the phone, especially when you press 2 to go as a new patient or book an appointment with Dr Bala. This is so ridiculous! They want you to leave a message for them to call you back at THEIR TIME! It should be the other way around! They are supposed to be available for their clients not the opposite! If you're working or busy during the day and would miss their call whenever they call you back at their convenience, then you need to consider another doctor, because the receptionist never answers your call!

Worst clinic I have ever visited. Treated me like I was no one I believe because of my age. Doctor gurumurthi also missed appointment, he never called me. When I asked reception they straight on lied to my face when I confronted them and they said doctor tried to call me an hour after my appointment. Reception is also very rude especially the lighter skin lady , maybe she is afghani or Pakistani. I asked to confirm my appointment for tmr and instead of taking 1 minute to confirm she starts to do what the doctor says and leaves waiting for almost 5-10 minutes. Reception is very rude and don’t know how to treat patients. It’s almost like they only to be professional with white patients and older patients and don’t care about anyone else. I will never ever come back here. This place needs better medical staff. I absolutely hated it here. I recommend this clinic to no one. They’ll try to stare you down, or roll their eyes at you and won’t even try to talk to you in a polite tone. They treat you this way because Canada’s healthcare system is free so they don’t really care about their patients.

Doctor Syeda receptionist is the BEST! She is awesome. She's polite, kind, understanding, patient, and she cares. I do love this receptionist compared to other clinics. She is the most friendly and all of the above. I had never met another receptionist as kind as her. In most of these clinics with bad reviews, 99.9 % of the complaints are about the receptionist.

We have Dr. Syeda as our family doctor and we couldn't have had a better doctor for sure. She is kind and patient. She has helped us with thoughtful advise, prescription, guidance and referral as necessary. The receptionist here is also polite, which makes the overall experience really comforting. Thanks to Dr. Syeda and her wonderful team!

Dr Tasveer is patient and always helpful. Good doctor with great bedside manners as I have anxiety around doctors and she always makes me feel calm.

I contacted them in Feb or March, as we were interested in having a family physician. We finally received a phone call from them last week to book our first appointment with the doctor. However, my husband was sneezing and coughing this week, and we did not want to cause them any trouble or concerns regarding the COVID policy (if u have these symptoms, you are not supposed to be there), so we called in to cancel the appointment. The first time that I called, I pressed on 2 because I considered myself as a new patient, and when the lady picked up the phone, she said oh you need to choose number 2 instead of number 1, but I was sure that I chose number 2 as I remember I had a debate over that in my mind. So I had to hang up and call again. The second time that I called in, I pressed 2, no one picked it up, but I did receive a call back later. But when I told the lady that I wish to reschedule this appointment to next week, she transferred my call again. And the one picked up my call afterwards sounds pretty much like the first lady that I talked to, and she said, " you just booked your appointment and now you want to reschedule?" after I explained to her that my husband is having these symptoms. But I let that go, then I was asking for an appointment next Wednesday at 3pm, but then she told me that time is not available, then I asked if she can give me a rough time frame where they are available so I don't have to guess when they are available. It's more efficient, but then she told me she's not allowed to do that. It's absurd. I read so many reviews about how Dr. Syeda is amazing, and plenty of angry reviews regarding the reception desk, but I still wanted to try for Dr. Syeda. But now I'm really disappointed about the reception desk. It's not worth the wait.

I stopped by here for a walk-in appointment to get a second opinion from Dr. Bala as I have seen her in the past and found her to be very thorough, patient and kind. First, I tried to call to make an appointment but apparently no one picks up the phone during the day. When I went in around 2:30pm, I asked the receptionist why no one answers the phone and she says because she gets there at 2. Weird. Then I ask to see Dr Bala and she asks why. Is that any of your business? I’ll speak my concerns with the doctor. I ended up waiting anyways and waited for over 2.5 hours. I ended up leaving annoyed and frustrated. The receptionist is sloppy, unorganized and unprofessional. If the receptionist is acting as your personal assistant, it seems you need to hire some more people. So so soooo unorganized.

Im happy to have Dr Syeda as our family doctor she is professional and knowledgeable she listens to her patients and make sure to give them the treatments they need, the reception girl is also really good she always picks up the phone or call back immediately thank you guys for doing your job perfectly!

I cannot say enough good things about this pharmacy and the staff at Guildwood Medical Centre. Their safe vaccine protocols and knowledgeable pharmacy team serve the community with integrity and respect. Receptionist Bharathi helped me with all paperwork, well organized, friendly and helpful. I feel your collaboration and cooperation are unmatched in Scarborough. Truly made the experience less stressful.

I injured my wrist at work and was in a lot of pain. So I walked in to this clinic as it was the closest to my house. Front staff Bharati welcomed me and did all the paper work as I was not in a position to write. She did an awesome Job making my whole experience hassle free. My consultation was done in an hour and my wrist was normal with a week. Thanks guys. Definitely recommend my family members and friends.

The worst experience first time walking in a clinic a the recipient's is very unprofessional higabi light skin and skinny girl she need to be trained how to talk a patient with respect God knows her heart but attitude matters. Very disappointed I was the first client walking and told her my situation need to see a a doctor she took 5 people before me waiting 1hour and half and left. No body deserves to be treated like that. My first and going to be my last visit

Very good and clean medical center. Receptionist doctor pharmacist everyone is so polite and accommodating.. would highly recommend the clinic. The pharmacist Naeem is very polite and ready to help (will keep medications ready ) before we are at the pharmacy. Tries to arrange for medications is something is out of stock, keeps customers updates with all live updates via messages. Highly recommend the clinic and pharmacy. Very happy with them.

I have visited this clinic and seen Doctor gurumurthy . He is extremely knowledgeable, and very informative. I am always impressed at how much he knows. It's always comforting to know I am in such safe hands. Although I can see how busy the clinic is, he takes his time to address all of my concerns and needs. Great doctor and the staff bharathi took my blood work .she really put me at ease and the procedure was painless and quick .thank you .

Receptionist will automatically try to shut off your concerns when calling by making you book an appointment with the doctor rather than to hear your concern and further assist clients concern. I’m disappointed because the doctor called me on a private number after insisting to talk to the doctor upon Getting my results all and all to tell me that my Behaviour is unacceptable when speaking with secretary just because I was insisting to talk to the doctor in regards to my alarming lab results in which she did not receive yet. And then I was refused medical service. I am speechless how it came about that fast with such conclusion. Doctor could had been arranged to call me back at another time but that choice was not given to me either.

Guildwood  medical center is an awesome clinic! They are well organized online and in-person. They are very informed and their medical information is current and relevant. You are treated well and kind . My Dr. T.gurumurthy a sensitive, knowledgeable and respectful doctor. I am glad I made the switch.

I was a walk-in patient and was made to feel welcome. I've been to the clinic a few times since Jan 2020 .I wish Dr Syeda was my family doctor. The staff are excellent and Dr Syeda is great. I appreciate these people very much and i received great care. Pharmacy was speedy and good as well.

Dr.Gurumurty was excellent doctor. He treats the patient friendly and kindly. He follows up the treatment as well. Receptionist Bharati is very good. She is communicating with patients very well. Its very good clinic. We are very impressed with their service.

I recently had an experience with the receptionist at this clinic that left me feeling disappointed. I believe constructive feedback is essential for improvement, so I wanted to share my concerns. I had expected a follow-up regarding my blood test results, but unfortunately, that did not happen. When I brought it to the receptionist's attention, there seemed to be a lack of communication, and I received what felt like excuses. Furthermore, multiple times I found the tone over the phone to be less than ideal and very unprofessional. Clear communication is crucial in a healthcare setting, and I felt that the receptionist's approach did not align with the professionalism that is expected… It's not just my experience; I've noticed similar sentiments in other reviews about the receptionist's communication style. It's crucial for everyone in a healthcare environment to exhibit excellent customer service skills, and it feels like there might be room for improvement in this area as she clearly does not exhibit it. It seems that customer service skills are clearly not valued here, kudos to the clinic for fostering such an environment of individuality!!! I believe addressing these concerns could enhance the overall patient experience. I hope this feedback is taken constructively, and steps are taken to improve the situation.

My mom is a patient of Dr. Sayeda and she has multiple health issues. The Dr. is so kind and treats seniors so well. The receptionist /Medical assistant is amazing!! I have had to get some medical notes for her and she is so quick to respond and always a pleasure to deal with. Great medical team. !!

After visiting couple of walking clinics in Scarborough, I have come to visit this clinic and realized that this is one of the best clinic when it comes to maintaining high standards of medical services, professionalism and hygiene. Now, this has became my TO GO medical center. Highly recommend to anyone.

The most rude lady sitting at the clinic . She has no manners. She has same mentality which she has when she was in India . Their customer dealing is so bad . They are racist with their own community people.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Short waiting time. Well organized waiting system. Found our family healthcare physician after more than a year of searching everywhere in the GTA. Happy that from now on we can consult someone who seems not only richly experienced at his  profession Dr.Gurumurty and his assistant Bharthi also is so approachable and friendly.

My husband and I are very pleased with this clinic. The clinic is clean, receptionists friendly and actually return voicemails, and the pharmacy staff friendly and the area clean. We are especially happy with Dr Syeda. She always listens to our concerns patiently, with humility and takes out time to discuss the management and diagnosis. We really feel comfortable with her and would strongly recommended her to anyone looking for an intelligent and kind family physician. We are really lucky to have found this physician and clinic.

My experience with Dr. Bala has been great, she is very thorough and non-judgemental. She offers care that is very patient-centered. Unfortunately, I would say the front desk/reception needs A LOT of work. Whenever I try to contact the clinic, it is always going to voicemail which is fine as I understand that the clinic can be busy. But the voicemail is very confusing. It is always the same voicemail introduction saying that the the clinic is off for today (unclear as to what date is "today") and that they are closed for Saturday and Sunday. Unfortunately, the voicemail intro does not include Dr. Bala's working hours and I was told before that she does not work every day. Also, it would make sense to include the number of business days for returning calls but it doesn't. My husband and I have called the clinic for different issues a week ago and both of us still haven't heard back. It is quite unprofessional and irresponsible to not even get a call back within the week no matter what the medical issue is. We do not expect an appointment right away or even a call right away but not getting a return call at all for the entire week is frustrating and can result in delaying medical care. This is unfortunately not the first time we have had to deal with this.

Tried to go today for a walk-in appointment. Waited for over 5 minutes for reception to even acknowledge me, and was told they are not a walk-in clinic. Wondering why they have "walk-in clinic" listed in their name??
