Scarborough Jiujitsu is very welcoming gym with a variety of classes (not just jiujitsu) on their schedule at very competitive rates. It’s a nice roomy facility, the mats here are great as they are mounted on a raised platform that makes them very comfortable to train on. The instructors are high level, and the owner Mark is very friendly and approachable. Highly recommended for all experience levels.

Been training BJJ for over a year when I first joined the gym. Super friendly owners, and very knowledgeable instructors. They provide very structured classes, whether its Japanese Jiu-Jitsu, BJJ, or Judo, the quality of instruction is top notch. Definitely recommend!

This is my home dojo (martial arts club), and I have been there for almost a year since this Jan as a beginner who had no martial arts background. It is a beginner friendly club, and people who are higher belts are super friendly and humble. All the great instructors and your training partners are there to help you to learn. Now they are a family to me. Believe me if you stop training for a week, you will miss the mat time and your friends there. The dojo offers great range of selection including Japanese Jit Jitsu (Self defense), Brazilian Jit Jitsu (ground grappling) and Karate. The highlights to me are the Monday and Wednesday class with Kyoshi Neil Dalgarno and Sunday class with RIZE Sensei Kelvin Cheuong. Overall, great people and great training environment at the club.

As a mother of 3 boys i really needed something to keep them busy over the summer. But once they started I realized this wasn't just a summer activity it was a complete life long practice. Rooted in the ancient Japanese tradition of martial arts I am thrilled that my children get a chance to be part of something so historic yet so practical for their every day lives. This is great for all ages both children and adults, learning to protect yourself while staying healthy and active, I recommend visiting.

This club is friendly, clean and has everything you Need to train. The instructors that work there are amazing! No ego despite their expertise and are always willing to ensure you are not forgotten. The memberships are very competitively priced and I Can tell the owner Mark isn’t all about money. Although it’s called the Japanese Jiu Jutsu club, they offer other arts also. It’s a great facility minutes from the highway and lots of free parking on site.

If you are looking for the five finger death punch, you will not find it here. What you will find are a welcoming, friendly, dedicated group of people in the pursuit of bettering themselves through the martial arts. And one day, if you practice hard enough and long enough, you will get your black belt and realize that the real five finger death punch was the friends we made along the way. But seriously, check the place out.

Scarborough Jiu jitsu & Martial Arts Club is a great atmosphere. The owners and Instructors are really welcoming. that goes a LONG way. they have a full schedule of classes and keep the gym busy. They have a great kids program and Aleesha is a strong coach who keeps them engaged and understands discipline. The jiu Jitsu program is well rounded and very welcoming to any level of skill. They even put a Boxing program in place and Coach Alex is really skilled coach and understands how to teach the sport of boxing in a way thats simple and effective. the memberships are really affordable and easy to work with. Mark, one of the owners loves martial arts and is in it for the passion. I certainly would recommend this club to anyone looking to kick start their fitness.

Excellent dojo to train at with knowledgeable, experienced instructors who are highly respected in their martial art; whether it be Japanese Jiu Jitsu, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu or Karate. They push your limits and encourage you to be the best you can be. You'd be surprised at what you can accomplish under their guidance; physically and mentally. My whole family, including my 2 young boys, are members and we all can't get enough. We travel from just outside the city to this dojo because of its family-oriented environment and welcoming community of members who are always willing to help. The friendships we have developed throughout the years is priceless.

We were fortunate to come across this Martial Arts Club as it is a well maintained facility that is also reasonably priced. The staff, including the owner and the sensei, are very friendly and amazing to interact with. They offer Karate as well as Jiu Jitsu lessons, especially catered for kids. Would definitely recommend!

Great place to go, whether you're new to jiu jitsu or have been practicing for a while. The instructors are good teachers - they're attentive and really take the time to make sure you understand the moves. And everyone is friendly and mindful of your safety and skill level. PLUS the mats are the BEST mats I've been on (hands down)
