Wow this place is amazing especially if you are gluten intolerant. I tried the rosemary bread which was yummy even plain. I also got a cheesecake brownie I liked it because it wasn't too sweet but delicious. Sometimes I feel gluten free baked good are too sweet but the brownie definitely was not. I also got the shortbread cookies...they melt in your mouth...those are sweet though with the icing sugar but you can't just have one. Great find!

I had high expectations for this place, because of all the positive reviews. I like eating vegan and gluten-free when I can. I tried the cookies n creme vegan cupcake, and it's probably one of the worst cupcakes I've ever had. The chocolate cake part tasted like bananas (no chocolate flavour at all!) and there was still (many) sugar granules in the icing!! I got 6 bars, and they were fine.

I ordered a chocolate banana cake and picked up some icing-filled cookies too. The cookies were delicious. The part of the cake that was cake was also delicious but the cake was like half icing. It was kind of sickening. My guests all left huge wads of icing on their plates. Pretty disappointed that I paid $50 for a cake that will only be half eaten. I posted this review over a month ago and received no response whatsoever from the bakery. I won’t be going back.

Everything here is gluten free and there are lots of options for vegans. Ordered a 7" cake for Christmas family gathering. It's delicious, very rich and dense so you will probably eat a smaller piece than normal. It's a big hit. We also bought some GF sandwich bread and vegan dinner rolls, some of the squares and cookies - everything taste great - will definitely buy from this store again for treats and special occasions.

A nice little gem hidden but makes up for the quality products it carries. Many choices for gluten-free and dairy free products, all sorts. There is plenty of free parking and the service is great. Will definitely be visiting there again for some nice treats that are gluten-free.

Amazing little bakery tucked away in a little area of Scarborough. They have bread and a few types of cakes but their cupcakes and brownies are a must once you go there. They're so moist and delicious. If you're not accustomed to eating gluten-free flour products then the taste will seem off at first but trust it will fade away with the flavours. My favourites are the red velvet and vanilla cupcakes. It's definitely worth a try.

I happened to be in the area while they were open so I stopped in to try a few things. Lemon square - 0/10 I couldn’t stomach a single bite. It was so overwhelmingly egg-y and not at all tart like you’d expect a lemon square to be. It was 60% crust which wasn’t tasty enough to redeem it. Red velvet cupcake - 3/10 The icing was delicious but the cake was too dense and didn’t taste at all like red velvet. It was just strange. Whatever flour they used was overpowering and unpleasant. Cheesecake brownie - 3/10 The flavour was good. It had the most skimpy layer of cheesecake on the top though. The brownie was so dense it honestly reminded me of a hockey puck. Three points only for flavour but I would never buy it again or recommend it. Maple butter square ? - 7/10 The best out of all the items I tried. Not good enough for me to come back. I can definitely make better at home. Strange after taste and too crumbly. Again, the crust to filling ratio was off. I don’t think I’ll be returning to try other items. To me, they’re too hot or miss, taste strange and just not worth the price. You can make tastier desserts at home. To be honest, even President’s Choice has better tasting gluten free desserts. I expected better from a bakery. Please taste your products before you sell them and improve your customer service skills.

I am so disappointed and sad. This was my go to place since I am gluten free. My husband who has never went to the store decided to surprise me with a gluten free cake for our anniversary. He had paid for the cake in full. He was not told the store closes at 4pm and he went at 4:15 they had closed. We had to get a regular grocery store cake for our party. They wanted us to pick up the cake the following day but we had booked to go away. I asked if they can give a store credit. The staff was very rude and told me she can freeze the cake till my next event in January. The store hours are not compatible with work schedule hours they open from 11 to 4, which is regular work hours. Plus I am very disappointed and sad in their response. So we picked up the cake 1 week later. I'm a baker so I know how easy it would have been to erase this writing and resell it. I guess they don't care if we eat old cake. It can even be eaten in January. I'm very disappointed in the service.

It is so nice to find a bakery dedicated to gluten-free baking! The food is really good with lots of variety and the owner and her staff are lovely.

Really love the baked goods here, and it's refreshing to have so many vegan options to choose from. The people who work here are very friendly, too. Always pleasant and helpful. I love that I can support a local business for my special treats. I get my bread from another bakery just a block away, also made in-house. Please support local businesses by sighing the petition against the transit expansion. I am just a citizen, I have nothing to do with this business or the petition, but we have seen the harms this has caused to many communities throughout the city. It's not set up for this. Sorry to have to get political, but I would hate to see a great place like Whisked affected. Thanks for the continued great experience!

I ordered 2 cakes for my birthday and some treats on the side. I am a baker myself so my expectations were high. Both cakes were absolutely delicious I could taste the quality of the ingredients. Super well done and I will definitely be coming back again and again. They also delivered my order to my party on time. Super reliable and super yummy. Very happy. Thank you!

Really cute bakery with really nice staff! It’s the best gluten free desserts I’ve ever had! And they even have bagels and other baked goods which is amazing and so much better than the grocery store brand gluten free ones!

I've never made it to the bakery in person, but ordered various products online multiple times. The quality has always been excellent. The last order was a very pretty vanilla birthday cake which arrived on time despite the busy holiday weekend, and looked just like the picture on the website. It's a great place for beautiful and tasty treats that are safe for events where attendees have multiple dietary restrictions.

I have been celiac for 10 years and I love Whisked. Their baked goods are incredible and their flour mixes are excellent. We used them for our wedding and no one could even tell the desserts were gluten free! Highly recommend!

They did a wonderful job creating a beautiful lemon cake with roses for my friend's birthday. And it was delicious -- everybody enjoyed it.

I want to say I had high hopes for the macarons. However, they fell very far from my expectations. The filling in all the flavors I got were extremely gritty and overall very unpleasant. The flavors listed sounded amazing but none of the macarons tasted like the mentioned flavors. I also want to say, and I'm not sure if it was an employee or the owner, but my interaction with them was unpleasant and they came off very judgmental and racist. I was excited to have found a gluten free bakery so close by, but it seems I will most likely not he returning.

I ordered their Holiday Party Box a few weeks ago for a party since it had both vegan options and non-vegan options available :) The consensus: everyone loved it! All of the desserts were absolutely delicious and definitely changed my previous view on gluten free foods and vegan foods. Service was quick, and the lady was very kind. Store smells really good when you go in too so that’s an added bonus for me :) Definitely will be visiting here again for my gluten free and dessert needs!

Whisked is one of the best and diverse food choices I've ever encountered for gluten free eats. And people I know rave about the *taste* of something as simple as a burger bun. Not the normal 'cardboard' taste but good tasting. They have Gluten free flour, pancake mix, pies, and sweets, and they answer their phone - not everyone does nowadays. They are the best go to place when I'm in need of gluten free foods, despite the drive to get there.

Very happy we went with Whisked Gluten Free for our small two-tier wedding cake, half sheet cake and vegan cupcakes for our wedding. The cake was beautiful and flavorful, delivered on-time and in perfect condition. We ordered a small two-tier tiramisu cake (delicious!!!) with a smooth finish and piped border - came out gorgeous and exactly like we had envisioned. The sheet cake was impeccably piped and the cupcakes were just as beautiful. We had guests coming up to us not knowing it was a gluten free cake and were shocked when we told them it was. It was so nice to have peace of mind that everything was made in a gluten free kitchen with both “traditional” and vegan options to suit my own and our guest’s needs. Highly recommend this bakery and will be returning!

As a celiac, who has tried tons and tons of places, gluten free cakes can be dry and crumbly. I stumbled upon this bakery a little over a year ago and have tried their cupcakes, cookies and they are delicious. I ordered a custom cake for my bridal shower this week. The team was beyond helpful and went over all the details with me. They made the cake last minute and it looked exactly like I wanted it to. The cake was delicious and all our guests were surprised that a gluten free cake could taste this good. Kudos to the team and please keep bringing more treats our way.

Great selection of vegan and gluten free baked goods. Their dark chocolate vegan gluten free cupcake is DIVINE. Some of the other flavours can be hit or miss but still love this place and will keep coming back.

I had a great experience here! I came in on Saturday afternoon looking for a few GF cupcakes to take to a dinner party and I found some really great ones here. I got a 6 pack of assorted ones. The flavours I got were: Tiramisu Vanilla Chocolate Cookies N Cream Roasted Apple Salted Caramel The staff were so kind and helpful, I'll definitely be back!

We recently bought the Vegan Banana Birthday Cake and it was absolutely delicious!! I had to order what I thought would be a pretty plain tasting cake to accommodate all the food sensitivities in my family. But it was unanimous...it was one of the best tasting cakes we ever had. You can always tell the difference with fresh and quality ingredients. Equally important, we were very impressed with Christine Costa, the owner, who got personally involved to ensure we had an amazing customer experience. The truth is, our first cake arrived late and damaged during delivery. Christine did not hesitate to make things right. She had a fresh new cake made right away and had it delivered at no extra charge. This is the kind of superior service that will keep me as a loyal customer. I can't wait to try the other cake flavours. Thank you Christine!

They're friendly, have great variety and delicious items. We live quite far, so we were doing penguin p/u, which was still an hr drive it total, but now they no longer do that, so we're disappointed we can't get their great items anymore as we're travelling during the pandemic. Thankfully we still have some of their amazing frozen pizza, but we're really missing their treats. We've placed orders with them several times, they check ingredients for my allergies and are always accommodating. We've had some issues with delays of the orders when we're on a tight schedule being in from out of town & having to change everything to wait a few hours, then getting having to drive all the way back to Scarborough after appoints in downtown Toronto, then being stuck in rush hour traffic that we had scheduled to avoid. I'm still giving them a 5 star despite that as we've been customers for yrs & have only had issues a couple of times. Their food is great. They have a wonderful variety, everything tastes great, the pizza is my fav gf pizza, the cupcakes are amazing. They are well worth the drive & anytime we can, we stock up on their items! The pic of the cake was a custom order, it was beautiful & delicious. They are VERY well educated with celiac disease and there is zero risk of CC. They're a 100% gf facility and are very strict on that, which is so reassuring to me.

EDIT: After speaking to the owner and them trying to make it right here is my new review of the bakery, the bakery was generous enough to offer new products and ship it directly to my house at no extra charge to try to mend the first order. We got the coconut cream pie, blueberry scones and the sourdough. First off the coconut cream pie was amazing, even after being a few days, it still taste like the first day we had it, would totally recommend the pie for sure. The scones on the hand was a bit disappointing, the first day when it was delivered, it was soft and great flavour, but after a day in the fridge in an air tight container, it turned into a very dried scone, not as bad as the pumpkin scones, but it was a type of product only good to eat the first day. The sourdough was nothing special than if I were to get the gluten free bread from the freezer isle at any supermarket, it was a lot denser than I expected, but I would be fine with getting it at the supermarket. In all, if I was in the area again, I would buy the pie for sure, but I would not drive 40 minutes to this place specifically to get one pastry. I drove 40 minutes one way to a very highly reviewed placed, ordered a pumpkin pie, pumpkin scone and herb bread. Pie crust was acceptable, filling was horrible, does not have any pumpkin taste to it, tasted undercooked and was very watery. Scone was very dry, tasted like it was a day old, almost stale. Herb bread was the only thing that was decent, but still expected more herbs and flavour in it for it to be worth the price.

Food is worth the price! People is great and selection for goodies/brownies worth waiting in the cold to get some. The rosemary flatbread is awesome even by itself and cold. Will come back again

Some of the best tasting gluten free desserts I've had in Toronto! The scones, tiger bar (in photo), and chocolate cupcake had great texture and flavour. So happy to have a gluten free bakery in Scarborough!

BEST BACHELORETTE CAKE EVER!!! I had the opportunity of creating a one of wonderful kind of cake with this bakery with the help of the cake decorators. Christina and Lexi was wonderful to talk when designing the cake that I wanted and the cake overall was very nice and yummy!!! thank you so much!!!

I ordered a recreation of the top of our wedding cake for my husband for our 10th anniversary. It turned out beautiful & delicious! Only suggestion would be that the cake ratio be a little higher - there was a lot of icing on the inside, so combined with what was on the outside it was pretty heavy on the icing. Still planning to order from here again for kids’ birthdays.
