Extremely incompetent staff with no training. Zero ability to work efficiently and respectfully deal with customers. Why are you hiring cashiers if you cannot provide them with proper training? Don’t even get me started on the attitude. Please train your staff on how to be efficient and work smartly, and to be respectful of others’ time. If all of the cashiers have to constantly ask each other what to do / how to process something every 2 minutes, something is definitely wrong. Do better.

Lots of good trendy selections and styles. Great spot right at the entrance of Scarborough Town center main entrance at the main or upper floor. Just across the Cineplex. Service is ok. Price is reasonable. You can have snack in the nearby shops and Cafe. Parking is at the mall area.

the worst customer service i ever had. I brought joggers from there, it's small for me. So i went there for an exchange and they said, they can't exchange products until Wednesday. Which is completely unnecessary!! Most importantly they treat their customer so bad seems like there nothing mean to them !! At the same time, i went to store manager to try to talk about it. She was in so rushed, she didn't even listen to me what i want to say and rude.

2.5 stars for me U can find some nice clothes for cheap which is great but unfortunately , as others have mentioned, there are several staff member who are rude and have an attitude and seem like they hate being there. One time i almost let one of them have it but i just decided to stay quiet. If they dont like where or what they are doing for a paycheck then get out and find something else. Simple. There is no room in the customer service world for rotten attitudes like that.

The person helping me stayed on her phone the whole time she rung me up, I could not even see my total, she continued to gesture impatiently to the debit/ credit machine. Staying on the phone. Knowing they don't offer refunds. She stayed on the phone as I left. Great fashion choices, great prices, could use better customer services. Especially the person you are serving in the moment.

Although I like Urban Planet and i love their Montreal location! However, this location has the worst customer service I have ever seen. I saw the guy of the fitting rooms literally kicking a lady out saying you can't try this on we are going to close. She told him there still 25 mins to close but he refused saying you will take forever anyways. Even I ask another employee for a short and she did not even look at me. She said that what we have. If you find it great if not go to the next store! How rude. The business owner showed really be aware of this. I will also email the company to let them know.

Went in yesterday to buy a few outfits for my upcoming events. Went to the fitting room to try my items on, and the Muslim girl working had so much attitude. She was super impatient, and told me that each time I had items I didn’t not want to purchase I had to come out to her in the front and give her those items, even if I wasn’t finished in the fitting room. How does it make sense for me to go up to her each time to give her items I did not want to purchase. I came back again after to try on more outfits, once again she had attitude and was rolling her eyes. I’m spending my own time & money so why does it matter to her? Not sure how some of these people get hired if they don’t know how to act with customers, especially if they are working in retail. This is my first time experiencing something like this.

Good location in the STC mall so many people are passing the store. If you are smart and patient enough, you will get a good deal. Prices are okay and qualities of merchandise are above average. For times like today, saving money is first so it is just wise to shop here. Overall it is a good store

First time I went this place was last Saturday afternoon on Aug. 20, 2022, got the worst customer service I have ever had. My niece tried to pay by cash $100 bill, they did not accept, so she tried to pay by Debit card. But it did not go through 2 times. I was beside her trying to help, and then said sorry to the cashier, she rolled her eyes and said when it’s done even she could go for a break. I checked and nobody was in line because we were on the second floor. I have never seen such rude service, so I paid right away. She threw the bag to us, and looked at somewhere. OMG!

I visited the store todsy at 5pm. Worst experience ever had from the billing department. The guy over there is very rude and don't know how to treat customers. He even charged me more Than what offers says.

I was there yesterday May 24, 2023, what can i say your associate in the fitting room its look like she doesn't like to work there she look bother no eye contact or acknowledging us when someone wants to use the fitting room and fitting room smells urine its so nasty to be added how come cashier doesn't accept $100 Canadian bills not unless you show your Identification none of them knows how to check if its counterfeit? So i left empty handed

picked up two sweaters. both had $19.99 clearly shown. went to pay. the cashier said the price was $24.99. When I challenged it, she said that's the price on the system, take it or leave it. apparently what happened is the original price on the factory tag was $19.99 but urban planet increased the price to $24.99 before advertising the sweater on sale

The store manager at Scarborough Town Centre refused to take off the madiken the last pair of pants I wanted to buy. She was very dissmissive and stated that taking clothes off the madiken in order to sell wasn't the store policy?! I was super dissapointed and left right after. I won't be coming back there for sure.

clothes are amazing, but customer service is terrible. makes the whole experience frustrating and annoying. they keep screaming and starting fights, so make sure to not ask for help as you’ll be treated like trash.

Went to this location last weekend, I was waiting by changing room for 3 mins , no one helped me, so I walked in one and tried on for my kid, a girl come opens up and screams, a brown girl, and says it’s closed I can’t use it, ok and then the manager the black girl comes and says , yes it’s closed did u read the sign, the sign says wait to be helped, what a rude people. Don’t treat people by how they look, what kind of people do u have working some , weed heads, please train ur employees

The store has very rude manager, Been there twice both times were disappointing Manager behaves like she is doing favour on general public by working there, Asked her about couple of times if this was final sale, She didn’t even bother herself to answer. I think it’s high time to replace her. Other staff was super friendly and helpful.

Their change rooms are closed even though many if not all of the other stores in the mall are allowing change rooms, and they don't do returns for anything but store credit. You're not even allowed to try on things like sweaters, which can easily be put on in store. I was approached by two different employees because they were grumpy about their policy that you can't try on clothes in the store. Felt very sleazy. Won't be coming here again.

Called and the person just lifted the phone and hung it up. Based on the other reviews here, it sounds like the person working there couldnt be bothered to answer the phones. Guess I'll be shopping elsewhere.

I come here often!! They seem to actually have good deals sometimes too! I just can’t find something i really like! Sometimes i go around the whole place to find all the forever21 clothes they have… workers are nice and friendly too! They would definitely help you with what you need. They would approach and ask what you need and how they cane help!

The store itself is great pretty clean has nice stuff but the LINE UP !!! Cashiers are soooo slow, they never have enough people on cash and the line takes forever! It’s the holiday season! Get more staff or open your tills on the upper level!!!

I visited the store yesterday and was a bit taken aback by the customer service. I walked in and there was a gentleman folding clothes. He did not greet me and when I said hello to him, he sighed and looked extremely stale. Not exactly what I expected. At the till, the ladies were lovely and very helpful. I will be back for clothes but the staff really need to improve on customer relations and greeting customers with respect and dignity when they walk into Urban Planet to shop. Make them feel welcomed!

Would not recommend this location at all. Real poor customer service. The manager’s attitude sucks, has no consideration. I was there to exchange the size of my item that i bought from the same location. The manager disrespectfully denies to exchange it by saying it was not the same barcode as in the receipt and claims if i bought it from other store. Very disappointed not going back to this location anymore. I left the product with them and never got my money back.

It is very bad customer service. We bought product which was on sale and on checking the receipt we found that they did not give us in offer so we ask for refund on first instance they said no but when i argued they agreed to give but than they want my full address first and last name and contact number and i have never gone through such policies. On top of that we have to wait for refund so just wasting time for my own money. Absolutely ridiculous policy and the girl who is working there have absolute bad attitude

Customer service was great👌. The cashiers were attentive, diligent and appears to have cared about our experience shopping in the store. If you see something you like, buy it...because next visit there is high percentage chance you will not find it again...even size wise.

The staff on the floor were doing such a good job keeping the store in order. I approached the cashier and asked for the store manager she told me she wasn't available so she sent the shift leader instead. I told her how well the staff on the floor were keeping the store. Her response was, "well it's not busy". Not a thank you or anything. I then responded and said either way thier doing a good job. Uhh. Yea... Next time a thank u would suffice. I came today to exchange a pair of pants for a different size as the ones I had bought were not fitting me as I’d hoped. When I went to the cashier (the Asian one) to exchange the pants she asked me for my number and then asked if I had exchanged there before. I didn’t remember if I had or not so I replied back saying I don’t think so and very rudely she asked “so you’re not (my full name)?” And I replied back and said “yes I am.” I don’t understand that if my information is already coming up on your system then why are you asking me? She made it seem like I commit a crime by exchanging the same pants for a different size. The clothes are great, and everyone is usually nice, but I did not like her attitude.

Ok, so you already know when you shop here you aren't getting the best quality clothes, but it's affordable for what it is, but to have the manager reject assistance from other employees to jump on cash to help move the increasingly long (and agitated) line makes absolutely no sense. THEN when patrons in the line SEE him tell the employee no help needed, ask him if he could get another person to jump on cash, have the manager say "if I had a choice to NOT be the only person on cash having people watching me side eye, I would get help". Really dude?!? We all saw and heard you reject said help! So now we don't trust you. Manager then starts to advise people they can only exchange until Jan 12, 2019 saying he fought head office to allow for exchanges because they wanted to make everything final sale...🙄...dude, we're not stupid eh. We're really not stupid.

I really like this store, I went there for the first time last week and had a great experience. I didn't even know that they had a children's Urban Planet. The Sales associates are great so nice and really helpful, especially the young lady with the short boy cut hair style, just an amazing sweet girl. Thanks for being so nice and helpful. I do wish that they had more variety for the older boys though. I wish my daughter still wore the sizes here, because they got such cute clothes for the girls. I found it to be very affordable. My son loved the clothes, a 12 year old wants to be very stylish and they covered that. I'm not sure of the quality because they haven't been worn yet, but so far we are happy. For sure this will be my first go to store for my son's clothes.

I bought the swimming shorts on the 30th of June and because there was an extreme long line up at the fitting room, I wasn’t able to try on the shorts. I usually buy small size swimming shorts, that’s around my waist line 30-32 but didn’t realize until I got home that this shorts were not stretchable. Im trying to exchange the shorts to a Large size this Sunday, July 2nd but the cashier told me they can’t due to their policy like something for a hygiene. This doesn’t make sense if its something hygiene related because a lot of people are trying on your product. Now this swimming short is complete useless and it’ll just go the garbage. Complete waste of time!
