I got 2 of the curry chicken lunch special. A nice size lunch and reasonably priced. The food was excellent and the owner was very friendly and pleasant to talk to. I highly recommend this West Hill eatery.

Walked by this gem and I am so glad I tried it. The doubles are delicious and reasonably sized. Thank you to the staff who made this for me early in the morning!

The wife and I tried doubles for the first time the other day and found this hole in the wall along Kingston rd, we both had no expectations going into it but man.. it really was that good, from the filling to the fried dough. Have to get it spicy, the sauce makes a difference! Looking forward to coming back when we’re in the area.

We got the goat and jerk chicken roti but what we loved the most was the doubles. The doubles is like this flaky, fried dough with sauced chickpeas and folded up like a taco. Not only was it flavourful but filling. Would definitely come here again for the doubles with some meat next time!!

I being the main cook at home I never buy food anywhere. However I took a leap of faith and tried this establishment based on all the good things I have been hearing from my co workers who visit there regularly. I was pleasantly surprised on what I ate. The food is great. It is 100% fresh, anyone who cooks food knows how to tell the difference. I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

I needed to fulfill a large order of doubles and pholourie for a Caribana event at our TTC Wheeltrans division. Molly was very helpful and accommodating to our needs and was able to get it all done fresh and hot!!! The doubles and pholourie were absolutely delicious. I can't wait for our next event. Keep the delicious food coming, we need more places like yours in our wonderful city!

Ordered a few items off the menu. Had a boneless chicken in Roti. It was delicious. Doubles were good. Will definitely return to try more. And possibly update rating…hmmmmn

The food is amazing and so flavourful, the portions for the price are super generous, and I LOVE their doubles. Also, the ladies that work here are the sweetest, and take so much time and care when speaking with you. Well worth it!

Tried the Doubles .portion was good The Bara is not bad . The channa filling needed a Lil more seasoning (more curry spice, maybe some green seasoning or cilantro/chandon benny also needed.) Asked for tamarind and slight pepper . Sauce was a bit acidic. Just need to work on the channa filling. And the sauce you add to them. I've had doubles straight from the Sauce in Trinidad. Over here Monas and Roti hut is still the best. MONAS all the way though as their channa is always on point . Anyway thank you.

Was in the mood for some "doubles" so we decided to give this restaurant a try. We were not disappointed. The doubles were great, and so was the "goat roti". The service was very friendly and prompt. If you're in Scarborough and in the mood for some West Indian cuisine, you should definitely come to Amira's. You won't be disappointed.

Picked up the boneless chicken roti for $15 (Tax in) last night for dinner. Flavour was fantastic! Chicken wasn’t dry and it wasn’t soggy like a lot of other Roti places. Lady at the front counter was super nice. Will have to go back soon.

Love the service and the food. I've called in twice for two big orders with not much notice. My food is always hot and made with love. Looking forward to trying more of the menu.

Excellent paratha roti ! The curry here is good too. Good veggie options for breakfast and a nice combo deal for lunch. Will try their other cuisines soon

I bought a bone in chicken roti yesterday and I must say hands down it was on point delicious. It has been a few years trying to find chicken roti that actually taste real Carribbean. Absolutely enjoyed it. Their food is very tasty. Portion size was very good as well. Worth the money.

so far ive tried the curry chicken and curry goat roti. this is my new spot when i need my roti fix. portion sizes are good and the price is decent plus its walking distance from my house

Finally made it out here! If you're hiking near the Rouge or Highland Creek, don't miss some truly exceptional roti and doubles. Boneless chicken and potatoes were completely infused with home made deliciousness and both had perfect texture within the fresh roti. The channa flavor in the doubles was complex yet so satisfying. I'd go back again today if it wasn't completely across town!

Food is terrible. Fried rice , chicken curry and vegetarian curry are tasteless. Chicken curry watery. Washroom facility is nasty. Cook lady is rude and mean to her cook assistant. Will never 👎🏽 go back and support this local business even though the food is tasteless. The owner does not know how to treat her employees and cuss them. My mom cooks better polourie anyway. I was trying to support local business. But I see how the owner is a liar and can publicly shame people. The assistant was kind enough to put up with the owner rude behaviour but after the owner cuss out fire the employee. That is a Blessing in disguise. Great Roti! The food is very flavourful and the price is reasonable. The roti is always fresh and fluffy and the filling is seasoned beautifully. The staff is very welcoming and the store is always clean. I definitely recommend Dianne’s!

I stopped in for a extra hot chicken roti and a couple doubles. The doubles were huge and full of flavour and ingredients, very fluffy and soft too. The roti was big and full of flavour as well, nice chicken pieces and the spice was perfect.

Rating is based on doubles only. Tried thus place to search for a new double joint, and this became a new favorite. My double eating experience is from a guyanese family that lived in trinidad. Will try their meals one day, but hookedbon their doubles.

I'm visiting from Montreal for The Word on the Street Book Festival. I was looking for a West Indian restaurant close to where I was staying and Google found this place. I was welcomed with a pleasant smile and the two boneless chicken rotis I ordered were still warm when I got back to my aunt's place. I was not disappointed. For what I paid, this roti was very filling. Most importantly, I didn't get sick. I've marked this place down so I'll know where to get roti the next time I'm in the area.

I came in on a whim one day and I must say that this place is a gem in Scarborough. The doubles are great. All their food is made fresh. I would highly recommend their goat curry. It's been a favourite for me and my entire family. Their food is so good, I have relatives of mine traveling from Oshawa just to have a taste. After eating here I will never go anywhere else. Keep up the great work ladies!! I'll see you later for dinner. Lol.

Amira's was my first experience with trinidadian style of food. I have visited twice and both times it was pretty late, the location is small with limited seating and I ordered for take out on both occasions. The first time, I had ordered doubles with hot sauce. It was my first time having doubles so I have nothing to compare it to, but I felt it was pretty greasy and mushy so I had to eat it with a fork at home. On my second visit, I tried the Aloo Pie. It was tasty, it held together well and the dipping sauce tasted tangy to offset the potatoey thickness. Overall, both experiences were decent and made for a different late night food rush experience.

Amira’s food is fresh and delicious! Doubles are fresh made and perfectly spiced, and the aloopie is one of the best I’ve had in Scarborough. Will definitely be going back soon!

Order from them last night. The Chicken Roti was good. However the dough for the doubles and pholourie was not fully cooked. Both were very white. The pholourie in particular was chewy. Really disappointed as it was late and I didn't want to head back out for food again.

Clean and bright! Had some fantastic mixed vegetable roti with some doubles to go. Will request extra spice next time or some hot sauce on the side

Very expensive, we ordered 2 Jerk chicken on rice, and 2 small drink cost $39.55. Food was salty and very less amount. We normally take from MR. JERK (morningside and sheppard) same Food cost $22.00. And the portion is way better than this store and very tasty. I never go back to this store.

Stuff I tried: Biganie - boom! Paratha with katahar- amazing! Paratha with Channa and aloo - great! Poulouri - very good! Service - Molly was very pleasant! Very good vegetarian choices. Will definitely return.

Inconsistant. Came here today and they serves me cold doubles and aloo pies. I called in and told him they were cold and he says because they were sitting there waiting for me to pick up. However, i only called in 10 minutes prior. They weren't even warm to the touch. CONSISTENCY IS KEY. The woman at the location is the only person that takes care in what she does

Pleasantly surprised by this find. The doubles are full of flavour, spicy and the shells fluffy. I also purchased the aloo pie (yum). Their prices are fair for what you get. The man who served us was friendly and I could see he was engaged with his customers, chatting them up and also had what looked like regulars pop-in for a quick hello. If I am ever back in the area I will probably make a stop here to grab a double or to try their roti next.

The roti, and barra (doubles shell) were made quite nicely, however they used the same chana for both the roti and doubles which are customarily seasoned differently...the overall taste of the curry wasn't good, and the chana was sour/spoiled. I ended up throwing my entire lunch away which was unfortunate because the both the roti and doubles shell were good. ACR is still Boss is Scarborough to me.

Best restaurant in Scarborough. Quality food at a reasonable price. I love all the vegetarian options they have. The curry and roti taste like back home. The staff is so friendly and helpful. I especially love how clean the place looks. They have a variety of home made pastries. 😋 YUMMY. I love this restaurant. Excellent food and service.
