I tried Baklava for the very first time from Crown Pastries and I loved it very much. Baklava is a layered pastry dessert made of filo pastry. It was one of the most popular sweets of the Ottoman Empire. Someone who likes baklavas and similar kind middle eastern desserts should try multiple options this place has to offer. I enjoyed the presentation and taste. We did a mix and match of multiple products to taste them for the first time and we don't regret it. I truly recommend this place and the baklava. My favorite was the Nutella Sewar. Must Try !!!!

Well if you want to eat the best Baklava' s in Toronto then your search has come to an end. I was blown away with the variety and the taste, they are delicious. I usually find Baklava's too sweet, but here it's not, my favorite is the pista rolls, they just melt in your mouth. A must try if you want to eat Baklava's . Service was great too. Please like my review if you find it helpful.

This place definitely wins on presentation! To be clear, this review is only based on the tastiness, composition, and overall authenticity of their Baklava. I had high hopes for the varied selection, but I was unfortunately disappointed with the taste of their “best seller” variant. The redeeming selection was the “Baklava roll”, I could eat a TON of that. I would suggest less use of butter or whatever the oil that is used for the composition of the treats. It leaves an off-puting taste in my opinion.

Third time visiting this location - everything we've tried has always been fresh and delicious. Loved the soft kunafa warmed up!! So many varieties of baklava and other sweets. There are also sugar free options available! Would have given 5 stars but the service varies. Received great service today but have received poor service the time before.

The baklava was delicious and I would rate it five stars. However, requesting tips is inappropriate since this is not a restaurant where I receive service. I purchase and leave. This made me feel uncomfortable, and I won't come back.

Amazing, fresh and delicious baklava! Brought a tray into the office and everyone loved it and asked where they could find it! Everyone said it was the best baklava they have ever tasted. Super high quality and excellent customer service. The only problem I had was deciding which baklava was my favourite, because they are all wonderful, crunchy pastry, lots of nuts and perfect amount of sweetness 😋🥰

Absolutely wonderful and amazing spot for Middle Eastern sweets! Alhamdulillah, I got invited to my first official Iftar dinner by a good friend and I wanted to bring something special to the family. I did a lot of research before choosing this specific spot for purchasing my selection of treats! The Knafeh blew my mind and the quality of everything I got was excellent. Must try if you haven’t been here already!

Be aware!! Not the place to buy cakes! Purchased chocolate cake with Brazil nuts on top for $32 around 9 pm ish got home and found out the bottom of the cake had mold took the picture and brought the cake back to the store about 9:35pm ish the person at the counter refunded the money (paid by debit & got cash refund) and offered baklava, but we refused to get anything anymore from this location! We got the refund but I’m shocked and sad cuz this was our go to place for baklavas and cookies ! Still can’t believe the cake had mold 😢 too bad won’t be returning.

The food was good and reasonable priced. The store itself looked amazing inside! Personally I feel that there was a little something missing to put it over the top compared to other middle eastern dessert places. The kunnafa that I ordered was not that fresh even though the worker said that these were from yesterday but will taste the same as today’s 😔

One of the few spots that makes authentic middle eastern sweets. On the pricier end but you are paying for quality. Highly recommended.

Finally dropped by and totally fell in love with this bakery ❤️ When I first entered the store, I was taken away by the buttery and nutty aroma immediately. I got a bit of everything and the taste has been superb. Very friendly staff too!

Clean and Well maintained store. Coming from an Indian origin, this my first ever time shopping for baklavas. Friendly staff (paiently answered my doubts). Got an assorted box. The baklavas themselves were veryyy tasty and fresh. For my vegetarian sweet toothed friends- Most of the baklavas they have, have no egg ! And to my ‘added-sugar’ conscious friends- they have sugar free desserts too.

I chose the pizza boat mushroom and chicken"👍👍👍" with a Moroccan mint tea , and for the dessert a slice of tiramisu . At the end I was stuffed I will come back to try the Shakshoukeh&Sujuk 😄.

Hands down my favourite Baklava spot in Toronto and the GTA. It always smells so wonderful when you go in, and the employees are very welcoming and hospitable. They gave us samples for items we wanted to try and service is fast and efficient. If I ever crave Baklava, this is my go to spot! Delicious 10/10.

Excellent baklava!! Bonus is is their sugar-free baklava for diabetics. Staff is super nice, very customer friendly. Since we couldn't make up our mind about sweet cheese, the staff gave out a sample to try, which we ended up buying (recommended!) Very sweet staff lady handed out a complimentary cookie of choice to my little niece. Last but not the least, packaging is great, looks very lavish -- rightly so. They really do go above and beyond. Highly recommend.

Best baklava in Ontario. Have tried many types of baklava but this is the best place to go! Always fresh with a wide variety of options (even sugar free ones). The service is always 150% as the staff are very friendly and helpful. I always trust them to put the best box of baklava together. Lana was really helpful in putting together a gift box for us that our guest loved!!! Highly recommended. Will definitely be returning back here!

My wife I were visiting from America and we stopped by recently and tried the pastries there. It was absolutely delicious and close to what we are used to eating back home. One of the employees Manal was wonderful and she provided us with great customer service.

Someone who likes baklavas and similar kind middle eastern desserts should try this hidden gem. This is my second visit, I am very impressed with there presentation and taste. Usually presentation and taste are very hard to synchronize but crown pastries manages to pull it off. A must try outlet. Toronto’s middle Eastern sweet paradise.

I went here to pick up dessert for a BBQ. OMG! The baklava was unbelievable. Normally I'm not big on baklava, but I think it's because I've never had fresh baklava before. When you walk into the store the smell is just mouth watering. The various types are displayed very prettily. Since I wasn't sure what to pick the gentleman helped me with an assortment (he was so helpful). Because you pay by the kilo you can try a variety. It definitely felt like a family run business. Also, I tried this cheese on a bun, which was actually sweet. It was a flavor profile I've never had before. I honestly can't wait to go back.

Everything here was delicious! It wasn’t too overly sweet. Surprisingly, we loved the hazelnut filling along with the pistachio ones. Will definitely come back next time.

I was ecstatic when I first noticed their ad on the wall of Pharmasave and was in awe on the amount of pistachios that seemed to be in their baklava. This got me curious so I went there with my dad and was delighted to see the variety of baklava, cookies, Turkish delight, and cake that they served. The interior of the store was pretty as well. I was hesitant to ask for samples as I wasn’t sure not if it was permitted so next time I’ll take that into account when coming back there. We got a few baklavas, rose and pistachio Turkish delights, and a sprinkled balled cake for my brother. When we tried them at home, it matched our expectations that it wasn’t too sweet compared to most baklavas being sold in other stores. It was packed with the adequate amount of pistachios and nuts! In a small plastic cl stained, for 12 pieces of baklava costed around $13. (UPDATE: $17 baklava in a small box costed $25) The only disappointment was the sprinkled chocolate cake as the taste reminded me of mold or moss. Not sure if it was the nuts or the flavour was meant to be that way, but I wouldn’t recommend it. All in all, grateful that I tried their pastries! Will visit again.

One of the best baklava in Toronto! I found them accidentally when I was in the area and I thought I should give them a chance and luckily the taste and quality was so good, staff were friendly and polite, definitely will go back and already recommended to friends.

Halawet el jebn, a well-know middle eastern dessert. It tastes so delicious! So good! Kind of addictive! This brings my home country to Canada with its authentic taste. Glad that places like that exist in Toronto. ❤👏 #yummy #halawetJebn #dessert

They have the best middle eastern sweets by far. Soon as you walk in, the presentation is great. I've tried all of their pastries and seems like they mastered them all. I'm so glad I found this gem and have been going regularly since.
