I'm so glad the N-Section finally has empanadas. In a city where there's pizza shops, burritos, donuts and burgers in every plaza, its refreshing to see a new take on food in my neighbourhood. Enter Latinto Empanada, a small kitchen on the edge of the North Park plaza, with a mother-son duo whipping up meat/veggie pockets from Paraguay. I immediately asked upon entering if they planned on serving entrees in the future. The son tells me that in Paraguay empanadas are eaten for dinner and in fact are "the entree". Now when you see the size of an empanada you will think this is an appetizer, especially if you are a bigger person like myself. But after 3 i was quite content (1 ham swiss, 1 bbq chicken, 1 lemon chicken). My son crushed his two Carne's saying they were delicious and barely used his dip. If you are wondering what an empanada is and you've grown up in Brampton, think "meat filled" samosa. The taste is good, 5 empanadas and dip for under 15, and something my son enjoys. I'll definitely be back again and wish the owners great success as they help expand cuisine in our area. I do hope they will bring a desert option, like apple pie empanada but I'll settle for meat ones for now. Congrats on the opening!

This place is a hidden gem. Highly recommend the lime chicken empanadas with the mayo sauce and the churros! They don't have dipping sauce for the churros but grab some nutella and it is out of this world! They're quick in their service as well. Theres no place to sit down to eat though. Mainly a takeaway spot

A friend brought me to Latinito Empanadas, saying they were one of the best in the Greater Toronto Area. After trying them, I have to agree! We ordered the family box to share, which had 12 empanadas, 4 salsas, and 3 drinks for $32.99. The empanadas are fried per order, so they come out hot and crispy. I am truly in love with their Corn Havarti empanadas, and their chimichurri salsa is delicious, adding a tangy and fresh flavor. I will definitely come back, and I will be telling all my friends about this hidden gem in Brampton.

I tried this new restaurant at the recommendation of a friend and it did not disappoint. The empanadas were tasty and made with fresh ingredients. I had the lemon chicken, and the chunks of chicken were delicious and moist. The flavors in the empanada were great. I will definitely be going back when I'm in the area. This shop is located in a great little plaza that also has a bakery. Perfect for grabbing empanadas and a sweet treat.

Empanadas are popular all over Latin America. Every country has their own unique flavours! It was my first time trying Paraguayan style empanadas and wow!...they were absolutely delicious! I have had the beef, chicken and the corn and cheese. So so good and all the 3 sauces were great, especially the chimichurri. This place is a must try! Looking forward to my next visit!

Listen I’ve been on the hunt for a proper empanada for years ever since my spot in Kensington closed down. They got it good here at latinitos. Latinos in the front & the back which I love. Crispy & flavour & the price is right. Definitely one of the best in the gta & you have to check it.

Darn good fresh made empanadas, deep fried stuff stuffed with beef or chicken and ingredients. The carne or beef empanadas were flavorful, somewhat liked samosas or fried dumplings. The BBQ chicken empanadas were with chicken chunks, very tasty. Tasted their three regular sauces, salsa, chimichurri and Latino, plus a spicy sauce available today, liked the chimichurri most.

Tried this new empanada’s restaurant near me because I can’t find any in Brampton. There’s one downtown Brampton and their food is amazing but needing something closer and this is right at North Park. Their empanadas are modern meaning they have variety of different empanadas to choose from, they’re small in size but they’re filling and tastes okay. I’ve had better empanadas so my review is based on my comparison with other empanadas I’ve had at another location in Rexdale on Islington. Their sauces are mediocre and I don’t taste the homemade authenticity in them. I don’t know if they make it homemade or not but doesn’t taste good to me. I had the bbq chicken and veggie empanadas and I liked the veggie one better. Their prices are expensive, I got the 6 empanadas with 2 sauces and drinks combo, and overall came up to pricey amount. I’m a picky person when it comes to empanadas so don’t take my word for it, go and try for yourself whether you like their food items.

I finally got around to going to this restaurant after planning to go for a while. It did not disappoint. I tried each of the three vegetarian empanadas along with the chimichurri sauce. My favourite of the three was the queso. I definitely think this is a unique addition to the Brampton restaurant scene and needs to be tried.

These empanadas are incredible. The dough is delicious and the ingredients are fresh. I'll definitely go back for more. Amazing taste, amazing quality, amazing price.

We tried 6 flavours including two veggies, two chicken, one meat and one tuna. They were all good. My favourite was cheese and corn flavour and dips my favourite was chimichurri dip. We also tried churros. That was good too.

Ordered the carne empanadas. They were flavourful, juicy and a hit even with my 5-year-old picky eater. Would recommend.

Empanadas were hot and fresh. Dough is light and filling is great. Me and my family loved it! Highly recommended and very affordable!

Absolutely amazing food!!!! Note to owners , I live down the road and didn't even realize this place was open for 6 months! I think a more readable sign (on the sign board) and some more marketing would pay off big for you guys. Food speaks for itself!

Great empanadas. The corn one is fantastic. Price for quality was great. Very satisfied. Thanks guys. I'll see you guys again probably soon lol. Oh ya, the sauces were amazing. Salsa could have been a little thinner to make for better dipping less chunky,still freaking good.

So delicious that it's scary. Very good bang for your buck as well. $2.50 per empanada and they're a very good size. More importantly, you will never find anything as delicious for this little money. Cannot overstate how good this place is and I am SO glad they've moved into the neighbourhood.

We tried this place for the first time and the empanadas were really flavourful, fresh and delicious!! This place is a hidden gem in Brampton. We went for ice cream next door and thought we should try it. It did not disappoint. The size and portion of stuffing were perfect. I only tried the beef and chicken and also bought the dipping sauces with it too, chimchurri sauce is a must. The only thing was that the orders were not separated, so I had no idea what I was eating until my first bite.

So I recently finished 3 seasons of Narcos on Netflix and I'll tell you what, I could use some Empanadas. I lost my Empanada virginity back in NYC after laying eyes on the beautiful, curvy, and crispy shell. After sweet talking to my food I knew I had to experience this again back in Brampton. This is where Latinito Empanada comes in, I purchased the polo(chicken) and tuna emps and holy moly. It reminded me of my first. 10/10.

3 Star. I'll keep it short. Empanadas are "ok", they are missing authentic Latino flavors and overall bland taste. The recipes need improvement. The churros are on point though. Being Latino I would not buy these empanadas again. Good luck.

Brampton has been missing good Empanadas and we hit the jackpot. The food is always fresh, the service is always wonderful and I’ve seen staff speak in both English and Spanish which is wonderful! The sauces are always fresh and a great add on to the food. Their selection is standard and I’m looking forward to new combinations in the future. Did I mention they were halal?? Truly bridging the gap to make sure everyone can enjoy their food :)

Picked up some empanadas here for dinner. Tried the carne, lemon chicken, BBQ chicken and corn havarti along with chimichurri, salsa fresca and latinito sauce. My favourite was the corn havarti and chimichurri. Service was friendly and quick. Food was tasty and prices are reasonable. Great to have this as an option in town. Support local small businesses!

I ordered the family special; $36.99 + taxes = 12 pies, 3 drinks and 4 sauces. A bit pricy but very good food. Edit: my apologies, it is indeed $32.99 for a family box. Such a hidden gem in Brampton! I randomly came with a friend after getting our nails done, it was sooo good, the best empanadas I've ever had. The price was also so affordable. Customer service was so friendly as well. I would come back for sure!
