Our favorite Korean BBQ restaurant never disappoints. You leave feeling the right kind of full. Their food is always fresh and delicious. The custom service is also amazing. Yeomiji should definitely be considered for a Best of Westchester Restaurants list.

What a great Korean spot! I was able to visit with some close friends during the week so it was slow. We had a reservation for a table top because we wanted to try the BBQ. We split the platter for two which was excellent. Pictured are some starters like the Korean veggie pancake and the japchae. I would recommend this location if you’re looking for a bite to eat in Scarsdale’s downtown area. They serve traditional Korean food and has great ambiance from the moment you walk in. I recommend visiting if you’re in the neighborhood.

HORRIBLE TERRIBLE FOOD! The food is low quality, extremely salty like buckets of salt have been dumped in, barely any vegetables and no beef in the beef flank soup (Yukgaejang). The only thing in the stew is a bucketload of hot pepper flakes, making the stews very spicy and inedible! What kind of restaurant in NY makes Korean food like this? The side dish of diced potatoes are also extremely salty and soggy. My family and I have been to numerous Korean restaurants throughout our lives and not ONE place made beef flank soup (yukgaejang) like this place. This is NOT Korean food, just water, salt and hot pepper flakes! Imitation Korean food. If they cannot make this stew properly, TAKE IT OFF THE MENU! We had to discard the food. This is a disgrace to Korean food. DO NOT EAT HERE!

Overall, it's an okay Korean place. Will describe my personal experience from the last visit. Hospitality - We were guided to the seat without a single word. I am not expecting a face full of smiles but it was quite awkward. Throughout our stay at the restaurant, there was no comfort spared for us, so we rushed to the end. Hygiene - even considering it was saturday, there were some concerns. I attached a photo of a table with sticky remaining/residue. Furthermore, in the men's restroom, there was a string of dust that was hanging near the vent like spider web. Didn't bring my phone to the restroom so no pic is available. Taste & Price - I checked some responses from the restaurant in the google review and they seem to be very proud of what they serve. We quite enjoyed their delicacies, although the beef flank soup was a bit salty and left me a sense of instant flavor. I usually order the same soup whenever I visit a new Korean place for comparison. I can definitely say it is beyond average but hard to agree with their claim. Their braised short ribs are 1.99 thumbs up. One may see the price tags are a bit excessive, but the vicinity is full of expensive places so I believe it is still within reasonable range. In summary, this place is worth a try. No further visits would be necessary for me.

Yoemiji's food is good not great. They use good ingredients but small portions for the price. They have a nice decor but it doesn't look all Korean inspired. This is the only Korean restaurant I've been to in Westchester with a table side barbecue grill. I would go there again for kitchen dishes but not for the table side barbecue. The grill is smaller than the ones at other Korean restaurants and ventilation is awkwardly placed low so that it blocks your view of dinner companions making it difficult to have a conversation and to reach things. The person who grilled our meat was rushed and did a poor job -- He put all the meat on the grill at once then left us unattended. The grill didn't have enough heat to sear meat before it got dry. I prefer to sear meat a few pieces at a time to it's hot and fresh to eat not all at once for it to dry out and get cold.

We came with a party of two on a Sunday (free parking). We ordered the spicy pork bibimbap and the japchae. $$$ for disappointingly portion sizes. The japchae had barely enough noodles for one person. The bibimbap had a decent amount of food. The flavors were solid. Unfortunately, the service was non existent. There were two customers in the store and we had to go ask for service on multiple occasions. The food was solid but not as good as K-town. Overall, there isn't much competition for Korean food in the area. I would go to White Plains for Korean food if you are in the mood for bbq.

I ignored all the bad reviews and decided to give this place a try. The fact that this restaurant is owned by Koreans is a total shame as this is NOT a Korean restaurant. This is a restaurant that serves Korean food, as if it was imitated by someone isn’t Korean. But the fact that it was owned by Koreans - I am definitely extremely disappointed. The other low one star reviews were right - the quality is terrible. Everything on the menu that we had ordered feels like it came from a food court cafeteria. No one in Seoul would be serving beef dumplings like that - no restaurant in Korea would be serving cold poor quality tofu pieces that is breaking and completely flavorless and definitely not - in an ox bone soup-it tasted like bland hot water with 5 littlest pieces of meat with thin white noodles - no matter how much pepper and salt you need to the broth - it was like drinking plain hot water. Only after we had asked about side dishes, that they brought out 2 little kimchi and broccoli almost at the end of our meal. I really cannot think of anything that this restaurant did well. Other Korean restaurants in white plains were way better, not to mention u get way more for your buck.

The very nastiest rudest meanest people I have ever encountered. I spent $100 and the woman would NOT honor their own new coupons for curbside or takeout or dine in. These people are liars and very fresh. They chased my husband outside after he asked why they wouldn’t honor a lousy $5 coupon and the man said give back the food after it was ALL PAID and in my car. Avoid. Try Chopsticks or Kittle Thai Kitchen where folks are so much nicer.

The food was good. I wanted to try something new/closer than SDG in Hartsdale. This was good if you just want a quick in & out, specific meal. I think I'll stick to So Dong Gong.. the food selection is better, more appetizers, pricing is more economical, prob bc of location.

Place looks great. The service wasn’t . They came up to us to ask if we were ready to order about 5 times in a matter of three minutes when we kept saying we weren’t ready. It seemed as though they got annoyed about it too. When it was out first time we were just trying to decide what to eat. The food was also not good. Very average taste and pretty expensive for just two meals. Definitely would not recommend.

I haven’t tried everything on the menu yet but my ultimate favorite is the vegetable fried rice with chicken and all I can say is it’s outstandingly delicious! My only issue is the container is not full and feel as though food is missing. Otherwise superb and the owner is such a hard worker and actually will deliver my food in a pinch. As you can see he is such a devoted owner and does everything! Thank you so much Yeomiji!

Thoroughly enjoyed this place and looking forward to returning. I had the crispy chicken wings and fried rice with beef. Lovely atmosphere, and everything was spotless. Our food was delicious and we will definitely be returning.

We came for lunch on a whim. Hubby wanted to Korean BBQ and we decided to stick a little closer to home. The restaurant is cute and I appreciated the setup for their cooking tables with the movable vent. Regarding food, I would say it was pretty good. The sweet potato glass noodles were delicious and I enjoyed the beef Bulgogi lunch box. It was very generous and I felt like it was well worth my money. The bbq meats were good, along with the sides, though the waitress decided to cook the beef for us, but burned the remaining pork belly on the hot plate to a crisp. I would suggest that if a customer is aloof (Unfortunately like we were at that moment) maybe it would help to ask if they're ready for the next meat course or place the meat on a plate to avoid burning it. The pork wasn't very enjoyable after that. The price for the food I believe was fair considering the neighborhood. I will agree with one of the other reviews regarding hospitality. Our server was very quiet. No drink menu was offered and he didnt ask if we needed a high chair (we definitely did). So I asked my husband to get it, since it seemed they had no intent on providing it. The server saw and didn't say anything. I'll admit it makes for a very awkward first impression. However, everyone but him aside felt a little more approachable. I'd also like to note the stellar changing table in the women's bathroom. It was refreshing to not have to balance the baby on those wall attached plastic changing tables.

We stopped here on a Friday afternoon. The service was amazing. The food tasted great. We did the “Table BBQ for 2” and everything was cooked to perfection right in-front of us. The owners and staff were friendly. I will definitely go back again.

I had never eaten Korean bbq before so was excited to try it here since I seen the reviews were pretty good. The first time was a let down since it was during the weekend and they were pretty busy. Servers and even the gentleman who was set to seat everyone which was either the owner of the establishment or assigned hostess, walked passed me and my boyfriend a couple of times without acknowledging us. We weren't in a rush and still understood they were busy so when I seen he was done with a table, I took the initiative & asked for a table and he only said they were busy and then said the only option would be to eat at the bar. We decided to just try again another day. We went back the following weekend and they were way less busy and was able to be seated right away. The service was decent. The young lady who prepared our food was really nice and attentive but the food was honestly mediocre. She cooked it well, but there was no flavor. Might be my ignorance to the dish but I genuinely thought there would be more to it. The ramen was also okay but felt they could've added more seasonings. I'd say the experience was cool since you got to see how the food was made but the food itself was mediocre. Not a mind blowing experience.

The food is tasty and good quality. We order some Korean BBQ and the meat was week season and well cooked. I also ordered Oxtail soup and surprisingly it felt home made. The waiter was very nice too

I went here with my two friends, and we had such a great time. The portions of food that we order were good, all were fresh and tasty. Service was great, and pandemic guidelines were kept well. Highly recommended!

Excellent Korean food with good customer service. Convenient location, with metered municipal parking. Free Sunday parking and weeknights after 6pm. The bbq is good. Price is average. Spent about $30 per person for a group of five, 3 adults and two kids.

👍 The tacos are delicious and the waitstaff is super friendly. Guac is very good, and the cocktails are a hit. Some of the entree options aren’t up to the level of the tacos. Great hot sauce options!
