Lovely spot in the neighborhood for meet ups and drinks. The people were very nice. I ordered a meatballs but it wasn’t enough for a full portion, they gave me one for free instead. It was delicious. I don’t speak french, I tried ordering in my limited dutch and they were happy to accommodate!

Very wonderful and comfortable place to have drinks, etc. There's even a room with a couch, if you don't want to sit in the main area. The vibe is fantastic!

Went there on a date. Really cozy and not too loud. Drinks were nice, and the staff lovely. We had a charcuterie and cheese plate, it was delicious 😋 Definitely will go again just to hang out with friends

Really nice atmosphere inside. Good selection of beer. Cheese plate a little expensive for what you get.

Newly converted old style cafe, now all bare brick and stripped wood. Extensive and adventurous beer list, and wines from off the beaten track. Slightly expensive for the neighbourhood, but it's a new style of venue. Open in the evenings only, closed Sunday, busy at weekends.

Perhaps my favorite bar in Brussels. Highly recommend Food: 9/10; If I would have to grade meat peaks only it is 10/10; for cheese I have a bit different taste. Drinks: 9/10; comfortable selection to spend evening chatting. Atmosphere: 10/10; please see below Service: 10/10; these 2 points exactly what it makes my favorite. Friendly, cozy, comfortable, balanced. Value for money: 10/10 it happened that we could spend here 3 nights in a week.

Copain used to be one of the hidden gems in schaerbeek. Unfortunately to me, it became quite popular and is often packed making it difficult to find a free spot. Nevertheless it is still my place to go to enjoy some beer or wine and a good player of cheese. Cheers!

Really friendly and cosy place. You kind of want to keep going back just to see what different beers they'll have. :) Great place for an aperitif.
