Well-designed clean place. I had a vegetarian option that really wasn’t filling. I was still hungry after. Sandwiches are good for a quick snack but not for a meal. There were other options that may have been better.

Cute Belgian sandwich shop to grab a quick bite. I ordered the américain which is beef tartare and micro greens. I found this to be quite enjoyable, they also sell cookies and other goodies to fill your pantry. Service is fast and friendly.

The best..inexpensive, delicious meat filling and crispy fresh bread. People are warm and welcoming.

Slightly expensive, but so goood. I love pistolets! The one with rosbeef, if you like that, is amazing and so Belgian. If I’m very hungry I need to buy 2 of them, which is very expensive. Better for a quick bite. Love the interior.

Just outside of the heart of downtown, a nice local place that serves you tasty, decently priced quick bites. The place felt very welcoming, was well lit and had super friendly staff. All sorts of sandwiches are available with mainly local products and fresh made bread. Go there and try it for yourself!

Recommended by my tour guide as a place to go for an authentic sandwich. The ham and pickle was right up my alley and I thoroughly enjoyed it

Located in the heart of the old sablon district of Brussels, you can taste typical Belgian sandwiches named “pistolet”. The bread is a bit dry and I find the prices a bit too high for a simple sandwich. On the other hand they are quite stuffed, almost too much, making it fall apart. The staff is super friendly there !

Interesting Belgium lunch sandwiches. Seems that they do lots of lunch delivery services for businesses. Orders what ended up being a hamburger with duck pate. Also had what tuned out to be a hot dog. The bread was good but the overall meal was not to my tastes. Dense burger and Vienna sausage style hot dog. Service was a bit abrupt considering had to order at counter.

Very nice interior design with friendly staffs! I don't speak French and they are willing to serve me in English! I like their roasted beef pistoles! The pistole has a golden crust outside but soft inside ! I'm pleased to have a quick lunch here alone! Superb⭐️

I usually take these sandwiches when I don't wan't to take the time to eat at a restaurant, they are quite nice. I recommend the meatballs one.

Great sandwiches/pistolets with a real Belgian twist. Kind of expensive if you want a full meal though... No real Belgian would only eat one for lunch...

I spent 3 days in brussels on vacation in 2018. On the first day we discovered this beautiful little bistro/restaurant and we fell in love. It immediately became part of our daily routine to have breakfast here. Definitely try their french toast. It's life changing, to die for. We also had some of their Pistolet (Pistolet is a brussel variety of bread that has a crispy and hard crust with soft insides) sandwiches and it was equally as good. Would recommend stopping here to grab something to eat before continuing to stroll through the beautiful city and suburbs. A+++

The place is nice and has good location. However, the bread is not that enjoyable and the price of 7,50€ for saumon and cucumber (see picture) seems way overpriced.

Very overrated. Sandwiches themselves are just your ordinary bakery’s pistolets, while fillings are all but original. Better idea to buy some great sandwiches in one of those great bakeries Brussels has to offer and buy some nice fillings in a good butcher or cheese shop.

If you like these small crispy buns (aka Pistolet), then you are in the right place. If you eat like a bird, one is enough... Regular eaters should take 2, or 1 and a side salad. Ordering is at the counter, one employee prepares cold pistolets, the other one hot ones. Nice little outside terrace, small inside (best to take out). Suggestions : make a dine in menu, when taking 2, make it a little bit cheaper. Increase the vegetarian and vegan offer. The future is plant based :) - get sponsored by a vegetarian meat substitute producer.

Cute place to enjoy local food. Variety of choices in between traditional pistolet bread.

Pistolet croquette crevette grise - nothing special, just a croquette placed on a pistolet with 3 leaves of lettuce and a little persil ?. By comparison, Fernand Obb (admittedly they were voted the best croquettes), serve a toasted pistolet, delicious croquette, with plenty of fried persil and tartare sauce as a spread.
