First visit to Kuma's Corner today. Wow! I enjoyed every last bite of my Black Sabbath burger. There's a darn good reason it comes at a premium price - it's worth it! Impressive selection of beers on tap and PBR available in a can. Atmosphere is loud and proud. If you don't rock, dine elsewhere. The music is a part of the experience here. Trenton was kind enough to serve us today and he was fantastic. Great menu and beer knowledge, freely willing to offer his recommendations and opinions, attentive without being intrusive. Just a great guy. The food was awesome, the beer was cold, the service was top-notch, the atmosphere rocked. Put that all together and you've got an awesome lunch experience. Plenty of free parking, outdoor seating available, clean bathrooms, great people.

The rating I gave to Kuma’s Corner is based on the overall experience. The location is behind Fidelity Investments in the strip mall. It is very easy to get to and there is ample parking. Upon entering the establishment you hear loud heavy metal music playing. They have an indoor and outdoor seating area as well as bar seating. The friendly staff is all dressed in black/goth attire. The menu is creative and specialty burgers are named after heavy metal bands ie; Iron Maiden etc… They have an excellent selection of IPA craft beers at decent prices. So now I understand this is a theme restaurant. The burgers are 10oz patties but the grind/texture of the meat is a little courser than I like. It’s neat that they have this kind of place and it’s fun to at least go once but if you’re looking for a relaxing meal, this isn’t the place for that as the music doesn’t warrant that. If you love heavy metal music, are goth or looking for something different and unusual this is the place!

For the appetizer, did the build your own Mac and Cheese with jalapenos and bacon. It was delicious, large portion and not too cheesy. For the burgers, ordered the Led Zeppelin which was juicy and delicious. The other burger was the Sourvein with deep fried chicken strips, waffle strips, and bacon with a maple syrup drizzle. It was like chicken waffle on a burger. Loved the mix of sweet and savory.

Excellent burgers. Large unique beer menu. Cool theme. If the music bothers you, sit inside where it's not as loud. It's a cool place. A nice change from the usual places. If you like a huge burger with great fries and cold beer, this is your place.

This is an incredible place to have a wonderful meal or take some drinks. The waiters, attention, environment, the fast service and the friendly people makes you feel very comfortable in this site! The playlist rock music is amazing! 😎 Also, they have excellents prices with good size food portions! Tables inside or outside. I really enjoyed my time hereand I recommend it!

It's an interesting place to say the least. Few years back I went to the original location in Chicago. The food is great, but they play heavy metal non-stop, so not everyone's cup of tea. Their beer selection is unique. Normally, I'm not a fan of mac and cheese, but their stuff was something else. If you want to have some cool burgers, with a side of metal, I highly recommend. Reading scribbled in the bathroom was an adventure in itself.

Food was absolutely delicious. I had the pulled pork sandwich, forgot the name of it. But it was so flavorful. The fries were a little softer than I like, but still good flavor. Fried Mac n Cheese app was SO good, highly recommend it. Blueberry Cider and pineapple Cider were both amazing as well. Atmosphere was very different, not my style but oh well, food was great.

I have been waiting to go to this one for a while, so it was a perfect time to stop when we were on our way to Indiana. As other stated the music is loud upon entering so you may have to talk a little louder to your friends, but this is my kind of music so I was fine. Kind of curious where they get their music because I did not recognize any of it. Nothing I hear on my satellite radio. Food was good. Husband and I split the burger and chips and brought the macaroni with us. It heats up well. Love the names of the burgers. Love everything about it. Something you have to try at least once. I just wish they had wine. Not the end of the world.

The food is good and BIG portion. I couldn’t finish mine as I came alone. A lot of beer selections. Service is fast and staffs are very friendly. Just the music is heavy metal with the horror movies. I’m not a fan of heavy metal but i love horror movie 😂 I order “Slayer”; patty meat with bunch of fries. It’s a bit spicy but i like it. Free wifi 👍🏻

Finally, FINALLY made it to Kuma’s Corner this weekend! My friends have been raving about this place, apparently the best burger in the Midwest. I love me a good burger, so I’ve been excited to see what the hype is about. The place has a metal music theme - the walls are decorated with metal band posters and artwork, and there’s metal music on at all times. It’s not too loud though so you can still enjoy a conversation and your dinner. The beer menu is extensive and displayed on a humongous screen. The staff is incredibly friendly and efficient. The menu is obviously also metal themed, I had the Metallica burger with sweet potato fries. The fries were really good, and I definitely enjoyed my burger as well. The portions are massive. Oh and definitely pay a visit to the restrooms - some fun graffiti is to be seen there. I will definitely be back.

The aesthetics of this place are heavy metal 🎸 and you’ll get feeling from what the bar is constructed out of that you’re there for a concert. The food is one of a kind! You have to try everything you can fit in your stomach!

Got to check out Kuma’s Corner with my friend. I have to say it was surprisingly good. Food: I have to say everything tasted very fresh and was seasoned perfectly. Service: The services was pretty good. Really busy so our waitress didn’t check in as much as other places I have been to. Atmosphere: The ambiance was good overall. Everything matched and the vibe was really welcoming. Overall, I will say checkout KC if you want home style food with a high quality twist!

Burger and fries were good. Mac &Cheese had no flavor AT ALL me and my bf took 1 fork of it and immediately sent it back, it had no flavor and didn’t taste like they used any cheese in it. I wanted to send the spinach artichoke dip back but we didn’t want to be to ungrateful, that also didn’t have flavor and also late of cheese.. it was pretty but pretty nasty. The jalapeño poppers were missing flavor as well but the sauce kinda help just a tad but I wouldn’t order it ever again. Only thing I’d order are their burgers and fries, burger was seasoned well and was very tasty. The Moscow mule lack of vodka taste.. The waiter and host were great. I wouldn’t visit here again tho. Sorry, food isnt good enough to go back unless you are a burger person.

Friendly staff, plenty of seating, and a great atmosphere. The burgers were portioned well, and the flavor was fantastic. The decor was interesting, and they have an impressive selection of beers on tap. The music was too loud. You couldn't talk to anyone without raising your voice a tad. If you're in the neighborhood, you have to visit Kuma's at least once.

I've been wanting to try Kuma's Corner for a long time. The cards all lined up and today was the day. I enjoyed decor, the music, the atmosphere and the unique names of the food items. I really loved the homemade fried Mac and cheese, it was delicious! The burger I got, Plague Bringer, was a little disappointing since I didn't taste much flavor like I expected. Overall, it was a good experience and if we're in the neighborhood again, we'll stop by to try something else!

My fiancé indulged in the beyond burger option where the ratio of patty, bun and guac and aoli was a little off but still flavorful. I dove into the pig destroyer this time around and it was delectable! Went with a orange pop cultured from Obscurity which paired well with the amazing BBQ. Also did the elotes mac and cheese and it was amazing! Always good service and good music!

First time at this restaurant and honestly it was a really good experience. The waitress was so nice she even told my husband "don't forget your phone" when we were leaving. The food was really good and I consider that was a good amount of food for the price. We ordered the "Led Zeppelin Burger". All the straws are not plastic but paper ones, also the menu is a QR code menu. My only complaint was that the day we went it was a little chilly and we had to sit outside because it was packed inside and there was no heater at least not any that was on. Overall really good experience, atmosphere, and good food.

Food was phenomenal but the atmosphere deserves negative points. Nothing from the Google Maps listing could've prepared me for the theme of the restaurant. Intense screamo turned up to 11 played at all times. Music was so loud that you couldn't talk to anyone other than your immediate surroundings. They were also going for this weird satanic / heavy metal vibe? Not my cup of tea. Food was absolutely fantastic but I probably won't be coming back here.

Food was amazing! Had the fried Mac n' cheese bites for a starter. Good flavor could use a little more sauce but that's a me thing. To finish had the Buffalo Mac n' cheese and oh boy, it was a lot! So much flavor between the blue cheese and buffalo sauce. Would for sure go back, that food is fire! The atmosphere is something to be desired. Heavy metal and goth is the theme and the music is pretty loud the entire time so makes conversation a little hard. For 2 adults and a child came to over $80 though, so kinda pricey. Over all though, would go again!

First time trying this place. This place is not personally for me and my review reflects that however, that doesn’t mean this isn’t a good place or isn’t for you. The music was very loud rock, loud as in it was hard to hear the person next to you talk. The food in my opinion was way too expensive for very mediocre quality. $20 for mac and cheese and it’s nothing you can’t cook at home, no truffle oil, nothing that should make it that expensive in my opinion. The burgers were so loaded a lot of it fell out while trying to eat it. Again, the ingredients just didn’t seem like anything special to me that would justify the burger cost. I didn’t get insane flavor or feel like it was of quality. The French fries were totally average. Overall, I was pretty disappointed, this place is very very over hyped. Lastly everyone there seemed to be taking their time. The service was very slow, the server didn’t check on us and it took a while for the food to come out. If you don’t mind waiting, listening to loud rock and paying for overpriced burgers than this is the place for you. Otherwise I would advise against it, just not worth it.

The quality is not comparable with years ago. I first tried it before covid and it was really good. Now it’s just an normal American burger. The beef patty is great.

Great lineup of unique and traditional burgers. Portion sizes are massive and food is very good. You could easily split a burger and fries between two adults. I’m not a small guy and I love food, but I struggled to finish half of my burger and fries. The heavy metal music is very loud, and “The Ring” playing on the tv is a little weird, so I’m not sure how comfortable I would be bringing a family. Prices seem fair.

1st time visiting and will be back! Great experience and the burgers were phenomenal. Our waitress was super helpful with making decisions and ordering the extras. Menu has lots to choose from for all foodie types :)

The jalapeño poppers, and the fried pickles were very good. However, the burger for my taste didn’t have as much flavor as I would expect. The onions were too oily. If I would come back here again, I would go for the appetizers but not sure I will get the burger.

This is one of my favorite burger places. The music is a lil metal which adds a lot to make it feel unique. They also have Tvs playing movies that fit the setting. Every month they have a special burger named after a band. I try to make it there every November for the "Sleep" burger. It's a turkey patty covered with stuffing, cranberry sauce and gravy AKA thanksgiving on a bun. Give this place a try if you want a unique experience with great burgers.

Simply loved the food and service! Ordered the Mac n' Cheese with pulled pork, and on our server's suggestion had garlic added with jalapeños on the side. So good! Also ordered the Darkthrone burger, medium, which was delicious! Our server was very attentive and took care of us with expert care. Only downside was the volume of the heavy metal music that was playing both inside and outside the restaurant. I know that's part of the places mystique, but for lunch on a Tuesday afternoon, it seemed a bit much. Still, well worth the visit!

Delicious food with a side of noisy metal. We always love this place and miss the location in the city on Diversey. In any case, burgers are huge (if you've got kids, they do not need their own --- then again, only the hungriest adults would). The mac 'n cheese is always fantastic as well. Tasty food, drinks, and great service while cookie monster sings.
