It would be hard to find a place that makes you feel that they don't care about you any more than this place. I have seen 5 doctors here including Scordino, Bowler, Jackson, and a couple of others. They never spend more than a couple of minutes with you despite your long wait. They never have answers regarding my issues. They never answer the phone, so I have to leave messages. They call me back when I'm at work and can't answer and never leave messages, so I end up doing phone tag for weeks. Unfortunately because of circumstances, I've been stuck working with them for years, but if you have any other choice... go somewhere else. This place is a factory, their business model is just to see as many people as possible, don't expect to get any help.

Gave it a 3 only because of the quick response to getting hand surgery..I would of gave it 5 stars but the constant overbooking and waiting to be seen since there are always behind left a bad taste in my mouth. I have already waited 45 mins and still no doctor I am just ready to walk out.

Went for a foot/toe injury. X-ray said " nothing was wrong". Sent me out with a boot and said "walk on it as normal it will heal putting all pressure that you normally would". Followed instructions. Foot is worse than when I went in. Went back. Took another x-ray, different doctor again, "nothing's wrong" and gave me an air cast. Still no diagnosis. 3rd visit, finally had 10 minutes with a PA and she ordered an MRI. This all took place in Schenectady. You're rolling the dice going here. 5 mins with doctor and a foot injury that keeps getting worse while they keep telling me nothing's wrong. Unpleasant? Actually just down right disappointed. Oh and anyone with a foot injury?...only one foot specialist can be seen in Schenectady twice a month. Now waiting to drive an hour to Saratoga just to find out what happened to my foot 4 months ago. How is it getting worse while they keep telling me nothing is wrong? Roll the dice if you'd like.

Dr Jackson is so kind and caring. He is very knowledgeable and has a perfect patient connection. He is a true asset to Ortho Ny. Why can’t more Doctors emulate his true concern and consideration for the patient. He is exceptional.

I have been there (the downtown Schenectady office) twice now for an injured knee. I still have no idea what is wrong with it. I have been seen by a doctor for about one minute thirty seconds between both visits. He is very rough, with no explanation of his examinations he will just jerk and twist my ower leg around. If I wasn't stuck going there due to this being a workers comp issue, I would have never gone back.

I am an RN, I have been an RN for 35 years. I currently work at St. Peter’s Hospital. If I ever gave customer service like I JUST received from PA Melissa on the phone, I probably would be fired. She was absolutely horrible and rude, probably the rudest provider I have ever spoken to in my entire career. If I could give zero stars I would. I called the Schenectady office just now. I have been having side effects from a Cortizone shot that I received this week in my neck. In addition to the headache I have been experiencing, I have now developed nausea. I have been dealing with the side effects on my own because I tried calling the office during the week and it just rang and rang with no answer. When on call PA Melissa called me back. In a contemptuous voice she asked me “I just wonder why you haven’t called the office all week if you’ve been experiencing such bad side effects?”She also said “I don’t see any messages from you.”I explained to her that I had called the office, but no one answered.I asked for anti nausea medication. It was obvious at this point she could’ve cared less about my problem. At this point I said thank you and I hung up on her. Was she taught anything in PA school on how to talk to a patient?? Believe me, this will not end here. I will not stop until I speak with Dr. Jackson, the Office Manager, another MD from this practice (there has to be a medical director) and anyone else until I get an apology and a reason WHY I WAS TREATED WITH SUCH DISRESPECT. I am a medical professional myself and I would NEVER TALK TO A PATIENT LIKE THAT ESPECIALLY ONE WHO IS NOT FEELING WELL. Not only that, I was not warned of any severe side effects. I hope and pray it wasn’t because I’m a nurse. I have never gotten a cortisone shot in my neck before. I am furious in addition to not feeling well. Thanks so much Ortho NY for hiring such an unprofessional PA who needs some training in how to talk to patients. I hope she learns. Ann Foskett, RN

Today, Thurs. 6/15/23 I spent 40 minutes on the main line into OrthoNY Schenectady. I never was prompted to leave a message, I never spoke with a live person, the recorded message just went around and around. I am experiencing severe pain of the right hip. I have already had x-rays, and seen Dr. Polacheck. We are starting a long weekend and I really needed to know I had an appointment to look forward to. I finally jumped into my car and drove to the office. There was not a sole in the waiting room, it was 4:10pm. Three young women were behind the desk, 2 of which were on the phone. They did not appear to be overworked, no phones were ringing. Did they just decide to turn off their phones for the last 2 hours of the day? My impression is that this office is difficult to access. I was told that De. Polacheck had no openings until some time in July. This is not helpful when I am in such discomfort. Finally I was told I could see him in the Clifton Park office in 2 weeks. lt was that or see a PA. Since I believe tat I need a hip replacement, I did not wish to see a PA for a co-pay of $60 and then just have to return again to see the doctor. What is she going to do but tell me to take Ibuprofen or Tylenol. The pain is making me ill. There seems to be only one other show in town nd that is The Bone and Joint place. Well I have tried for 3 days to get them on the phone and even tried to schedule an appointment on their website all to no avail. As yet, no one has called me back from my on line effort.. Their mailbox is filled up and you cannot leave a message. So what is next?

Horrible experience. RUDE/UNFAIR/JUDGEMENTAL receptionist. KATHLIN WRONGFULLY STOP MY THERAPY!!! Having multiple injuries, severe pain difficulty in mobility at times also unbearable muscle spasm, excruciating pain and they discontinued my therapy. I informed them when I had to cancle: 1) I had an MRI appointment and receptionist put me as no show. 2.) Had chest pains receptionist put me as no show. 3.) Bk pain & Sick, couldn't move fever, and had hives allergy from MRI pill and still Kathlin/Receptionist have the audacity to put me as no show. KATHLYN, STOP MY THERAPY. I was treated unfairly from day one, I told them and confirm that if they are documenting my information correctly and the receptionist said "I wrote you no show because our system do no show you had MRI appointment with us." (This is not Othrony appointment it is a diff location.) She likes to argue with sick patients, and falsely and personally judge me and put me as no show. I plead with therapist and explained to her but she too did not care about my wellbeing. Stopping my therapy made my pain worse an my back, neck, spine, knees and ankle got worse. Hopefully, Management see this review.

Dr Polishchuk and physical therapist Bob Ghizzoni were both excellent in the surgery and rehab of my broken patella.

Excellent professional and friendly. Wait time is just fine. Many doctors are in this location so I don't understand why ppl complain about who was there first and got called in ahead of them. We have been there a few times and no issues.

My son and I waited exactly 1 hour to be seen. There were people who came in after us that I over heard saying they were seeing the same doctor, and got in before us. My son and I got up and walked out. Won’t be going back there ever again.

I would like to thank the team of ortony, Schenectady for a pleasant, kind welcome and attentive attitude towards patients, starting with the receptionist, nurses, doctors. Special thanks to Joseph Isgro for the detailed explanation of my knee problem and treatment methods. Thanks again!

A doctor upstairs was rude to us and a receptionist downstairs was rude to us too. Not going to the Schenectady office until they can be nice.

I wanted to see Dr. Jackson so i went there. Of course i got stuck seeing a PA Emily Ecker. I was kess than impressed, had an MRI before i went, she told me barely any dics bulge even though i could barely move a week prior. I had to get shots in my back Dr Jackson was great. Then followed up i wasn't totally sure if it took all the pain away. So PA tells me well looks like your going to have to live with the pain. Terrible

Got scheduled with the wrong specialist twice. Showed up for appointments just to not be seen. Claimed to have ordered MRI’s but never actually happened. Place is a mess

Had a great experience as a walk-in referred by urgent care. Some staff were just going thru the motions but some were more kind and friendly! Also they are very busy so not as long of wait times as I expected. Had a bad experience though a few years ago with my daughter. Dr. Boler was rather rude and arrogant and rushed us right out, is how I felt. Other than that, definitely recommend!

Maybe you should update your website if you are not accepting clients for walk in so people don't drive here for nothing..
