Worth every penny!! The bartender Nora was so sweet! She made us laugh! Most importantly she made the cocktails. The drinks were delicious, and the food was outstanding! We ordered the calamari (I forgot to take the picture before we started eating). It was lightly breaded and cooked to perfection! I ordered the barbacoa tacos and my boyfriend ordered ordered the Baja mahi tacos. We both loved ours so much we did not share! I highly recommend everyone give this place a shot! P.S. Nora did mention they are changing the name of the restaurant in a few weeks to Mi Sueño (My Dream). Don’t be fooled by the name change. Everything is staying the same except the name.

WOW is the food here DELICIOUS!!! Everything I’ve had taste amazing and we’ve loved it all! It’s our designated meeting spot for a girls dinner & the bartender always takes great care of us and we have a great time. They also have taco Tuesday specials (half off)!

Best service and meals. Best quality and presentation of food. Reminds me of downtown Chicago. Food is delicious and environment is comfy and welcoming. So happy to have such a high quality place so close to home.

I love this place. The food was amazing the bartender had a very heavy hand. I forgot our server's name but she was the cutest redhead so sweet so nice, just the right amount of attentive. I fully enjoyed my experience and will be back!!!!!

YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR!!! This isn't two dollar taco Tuesday, although there are some fantastic spots for that too. This restaurant used to be named Veleros. Different name, same DELICIOUS food! You can taste that so much time and attention is paid to elevating the ingredients in each dish. The shrimp tacos are everything and I truly can't get enough of the mixto ceviche...it has octopus in the dish, yes, octopus! I know right, fancy lol but not pretentious. The drinks are freshly made and still very consistent. The guacamole is also delicious and comes in more than one variety. Who knew?? The Manager, Sam, is such a people person and cares if you genuinely enjoyed your meal and if not he will make sure you do so that you leave satisfied. This place is a wonderful date night and also an enjoyable lunch date as well. Your dream meal awaits you at Mi Sueño.

Last night we enjoyed dinner with some dear friends and this restaurant was amazing. The best way to describe it might be to say it’s a Downtown quality restaurant with delicious authentic Mexican food, beautiful ambiance, tremendous wait staff and a menu that allows you to enjoy anything from simple Mexican flair to upscale entrees with portions that will not disappoint and specialty drinks as well! The owner Samuel brings recipes handed down from his family and homeland made with the finest ingredients and he employs chefs with experience from big name restaurants throughout the Chicago area. It’s located away from the hustle and bustle of all the busy shopping centers yet very easy to get to right off of US 41. We will definitely be dining here again!
