We are a couple from New Zealand and stayed twice in the Goldener Engel in June 2017. The stay in the hotel has been a highlight from our business trip in Europe. The staff was extremely helpful, the décor is a tasteful combination of old and new and the breakfast is exceptional. Several breads are homemade and the choice is extensive. We enjoyed a delicious dinner in their courtyard on a very hot evening. A highly recommended hotel to stay.

Very nice and cozy hotel, romantic experience for couples. Staff is hospitable, rooms clean, breakfast is very nice but don't expect achic and classy service. Need to be careful in the summer because the rooms are not equipped with air conditioning.

Great hotel, lovely spacious rooms and beds very comfy. They erte doing renovations when we were there, but not too inconvienient. Highly recommend 💖

The hotel is close to city center. Parking is awailable in the nearby parking garage.

Very good hotel. The location is very central and it's only a short walk to the Speyer Dom. The room was very spacious and well equipped. The service was super nice and the Breakfast was tasty, could have some vegan options though. All in all it's a good hotel for a good price!
