The Heinlesmühle, built in the 12th century and beautifully restored, is located in the Black Red Valley. It is the only one with two water wheels because it is a saw/grinder. It is also interesting that the mill served as a classroom in 1830. 174 children were taught by “one schoolmaster”. Tables, parasols, coffee, drinks and ice cream invite you to take a short break.

Large, historic half-timbered mill building with a double mill wheel directly on the mill hiking and cycling path. Very nicely prepared. Self-service cool drinks and coffee are available for day trippers. Some shady seating under the pavilion tent. Occasionally also catering, e.g. at Mill Day at Pentecost or at Swabian Forest Day in mid-September. Very nicely located. Parking spaces a little further up the street.

Mill worth seeing, visited during a hike. Coffee and cake on site were very good. The innkeepers are uncomplicated and extremely nice. The modern sanitary facilities are great. A visit to the Heinlesmühle is worth it.

Very nicely located. Great hikes or bike tours are possible from here. A dream even in winter. I was out and about on Friday morning in beautiful sunshine. There were very few other people around. This way you can totally enjoy nature. However, good footwear is essential when there is snow, as not all paths are cleared. But that's exactly what gives it the flair.

A very nice mill. This is a great place to take a break before and after your hike. I really like the stream that flows along the meadow. The children can play wonderfully here. There is great food here. Toilets are very clean. Unfortunately the barn is a bit untidy, but there is room for improvement here.

Always nice as a starting and ending point for a circular hike. Then the sausage from the grill and the beer taste really good. Very cozy atmosphere...just pure relaxation.

Very nice old mill with lots of outdoor space, you can also bring your snack and buy the drink with it. Nearby there is a large playground with another mill = Hummelgautsche, in the middle of the forest, very nice soft hiking trails! 😀

Nice place, where you can drink coffee and beer. One of many in this region... parking lot approx. 200 m before the Mill, good access
