I live and work here, where others go on vacation.🌟🌟🌟 For several decades I traveled professionally in both the southern and northern Black Forest.🚘🚘 I therefore know many beautiful places, idyllic valleys, well-known sights and great hiking areas.☘🌿🌾πŸ₯ΎπŸ₯Ύ There are also excellent restaurants, snack bars and restaurants Hotels with top gastronomy. There is something for every budget.🍝πŸ₯˜πŸ—πŸ– I hike a lot myself or go on e-bike tours. A stopover for refreshments is always planned here.πŸš΄β€β™€οΈπŸš΄β€β™‚οΈπŸŒπŸŒ O Black Forest, O homeland, how beautiful you are (Black Forest poet Ludwig Auerbach).πŸ¦‰πŸΏπŸ¦‰ If you liked the tips, please thumbs up.πŸ‘πŸ‘

Its highest peak is the Feldberg with an elevation of 1,493 metres (4,898 ft) above sea level. Roughly oblong in shape, with a length of 160 kilometres (100 miles) and breadth of up to 50 km (30 mi), it has an area of about 6,009 km2 (2,320 sq mi). Historically, the area was known for forestry and the mining of ore deposits, but tourism has now become the primary industry, accounting for around 300,000 jobs. There are several ruined military fortifications dating back to the 17th century (see Baroque fortifications in the Black Forest)

Home and blessing for the soul. You can do everything here, fly, swim, hike, take photos and enjoy life. The four seasons alone are indescribably varied πŸŒ²πŸ’—πŸŒ² the people of the Black Forest are friendly but reserved. The forest itself is mostly intended for wood production, but there are also β€œprimeval forests”

Genuinely the most beautiful forest I have ever been to. Wild flowers and clear rivers everywhere. I hiked from Hinterzarten to the Feldsee.

The major bases for the Black Forest are Baden-Baden – former playground for European aristocracy, recent ascendant to Unesco world heritage status, and a hotspot for luxury spas – and the charming university town of Freiburg, which is more convenient for exploring the south. In Baden-Baden, the historicΒ Β has one of the most advanced spas in Europe, several restaurants and an emphasis on being expensively pampered (doubles from €455). TheΒ Β in Freiburg has elegant doubles and smart boutique apartments from €250, as well as a pleasantly rustic restaurant There are numerous cheaper hotels and bed and breakfasts in smaller towns such as Triberg, Bernau im Schwarzwald, and Sankt Blasien.black forest is very danger place you should be Don't visit Their ll

One of the best place in Germany.. I would recommend you guys to visit during winter so that you can enjoy a lot.. sightseeing is awesome in winter.. I have been there 2times with my friends.. it was awesome experience .. we can eat black forest cake.. we can do trekking... Must visiting place in Germany... Highly recommended... Thank you.. Basically, the first thing we should understand before planning a trip to the Black Forest is that Black Forest is not a place name. It's a forest and spreads 1000s of acres. U must consider places like Triberg, Hausach, Freiburg, Baden-baden etc ... these places cover the Black Forest.

Just love this place! The place where fairy tales come from, quite literally. There is a sense of enchantment you feel as you travel through the Black Forest and there is beautiful scenery and many shops to stop at along the way. You may also opt for a relaxing and rejuvenating bike ride through the forest. There is so much more, I'm barely scratching the surface!

The Black Forest is the second most popular tourist destination in the country, ahead of Munich and second only to Berlin. One of the charms of the Black Forest is that there are no large urban centres. A route that leads you to dream of magical villages, witches, fairies, mysterious caves and labyrinthine forests. The places not to be missed when visiting the Black Forest are: Baden-Baden, Triberg, Gengenbach, Laufenburg, Schiltach and Sasbachwalden.

Full of small towns to visit and spend the night. Rotweil (Rottweiler dogs) / Baden Baden and don’t forget the hot baths to relax after your hike.

Absolutely beautiful place for scenic walks, wildlife watching, mountainbiking and just generally getting closer to nature. A tip for wildlife enthousiasts is a visit to "Alternativer Wolf- und BΓ€renpark Schwarzwald" where rescued grizzlies and wolves get a second chance and can be seen living a happy life in a large and natural environment. A great place to support cause they do a great job helping these animals that had a rough past!

An absolute must-visit region of Germany - if you love nature and enjoy a taste of the authentic experience, please do visit one of the quaint towns in the area. Lots of activities to choose from and plan your day around - hiking, wandering, local sightseeing, sports activities, swimming, etc. Also, don’t forget to experience the authentic Black Forest cake (they come in both liquor & non-liquor versions). Some of my recommendations from the area are Triberg, Lake Titisee, Baiersbronn, Freudenstadt, etc.

More like the white forest in winter time! Incredible place to come with family and friends and enjoy some outdoor fun. Plenty of food and restaurant options around but most was closed when we went due to corona earlier this year. Parking seems simple enough whenever you go but I guess it depends on the season.

Just a warning. Don't type black forest on google map and follow its direction if you don't want fo end up hiking a mountain and realise that you haven't reached the destination. Instead, search for Triberg waterfall if you want some activities.

Absolutely beautiful! I grew up hearing stories of the Black Forest from my mother who is from Germany. I always wanted to go, and so when in Germany, I did! Hiking was beautiful and mostly easy, however I had injured my knee before and hurt myself, the caretaker at the biergarten was so wonderful! He drive us to our vehicle at that point! Please don't miss the opportunity to go visit the black forest, the waterfalls, the trails and the deep greens of this forest will leave you in awe. Just like all the stories! Tip: don't leave bread crumb trails or visit houses made of candy! ;)

The Black Forest (German for "black forest") is a mountainous region in southwestern Germany on the border with France. Here, in the land of evergreen forests and picturesque villages, the action of many fairy tales of the Brothers Grimm takes place. The region is famous for its mineral springs and cuckoo clocks, the production of which began in the 18th century. In the largest city of the Black Forest, Freiburg, surrounded by vineyards, you can see many buildings in the Gothic style

You're not allowed to go hunting in this forest with an MG 42 to show the deer who's the boss. It's a shame, and my daughter left the sever after eating romp, but it's beautiful nature
