Unfortunately, the WWF's image is being destroyed by persistently harassing advertisers on the street. I hope that the WWF separates itself from these exploitative advertising agencies. Because like this, it has no future.

It's a shame that the WWF - like many other non-profit organizations - commissions push teams in city centers and shopping centers through agencies. For me a “no-go” I am therefore looking for organizations that make better use of donations.

After a one-time donation, I am still bombarded with advertising by post. Catalogues, letters, requests for donations. I tried to end the whole thing several times, including by phone. I no longer live at the address where the items are being sent. But the WWF doesn't seem to be interested. I was even called - and I never gave such consent. That was my first and last donation to the WWF. Instead of investing in animal protection, the money will probably be invested in unnecessary, pushy and environmentally harmful marketing. So much paper waste, so much CO2 wasted producing these materials... And from a data protection perspective it is also highly problematic. Consent is required for personalized advertising!

I made an online donation of 25 euro to this organization, supporting a good cause. Not only was the money withdrawn only after 3-4 days, but a few weeks (!) later I received this paper letter in the mail saying WWF was very happy about my donation. Now, it makes me wonder how much of my 25 euro was actually used for the good cause? Printing and sending the paper mail costs at least 2 euro in Germany. Could they not send an email? Makes me disappointed and mistrustful at how my funds are being used. Will probably not donate to WWF anymore ((((

Top

The WWF criticizes the last generation. Understandable. They should first get into the system, build a nice foundation, have highly paid board positions, and use the money for a clique of self-enrichers instead of for environmental protection!

This foundation talks stupidly at people, is only interested in money and fills its own pockets, only a fraction of the donations end up in environmental protection. Among other things, criminal projects abroad are financed. That's right, the money is exported, subsidized by supermarkets and pumped full of billions, donations are advertised at any price. As a donor you don't get anything of value in return, there is no way to help without money, with many organizations you can, for example, donate bicycles or things that you no longer need, that's not possible here, that shows that without money nothing works here and if so If this was about the environment, you would be able to support it in some way even without money. I just wanted to donate, then through all sorts of tricks I became a member. Step out immediately. Be vigilant, you can hardly defend yourself against the tricks. You should go to the stand with a witness and call the police immediately if you have become a member against your own will. The fact that those willing to donate are cheated is damaging to the organization. This is what happened at the WWF stand, Admiralsbrücke Kreuzberg, Saturday, August 7th, 21, two young women, coached by whom? Addendum: today I got a call from a very friendly WWF employee who wants to do everything she can to make up for this impertinence, thank you. But the WWF has to take care of why around 8 (!!) similar complaints appear here. It's a shame for the reputation.

Since the summer of 22, I have been a sponsor for rhino conservation projects and education. I look forward to receiving informative contributions from your work and will stay with you as long as I am financially able. Thank you for your commitment.

Today's call from the WWF to abolish the commuter allowance is a slap in the face to every customer in rural areas. If we are to forego the commuter allowance, the WWF and its partners should forego us as customers. Our children went to youth camps with the WWF and were also involved in other ways for the WWF. As of today, that is history once and for all. The membership cancellation has already been written. We no longer receive WWF products or products from WWF partners such as Edeka and Netto. Both Edeka and Netto have already been informed about this.

We held a private fundraiser and I wanted to have information about who donated and how much was donated. That's why I've already called them five times. Unfortunately, you never get to the contact person you want and who can provide information. I have no idea if anyone works there regularly other than in the switchboard?! It's definitely disappointing when you don't get any response even though you've raised funds for the company! Unfortunately not recommended!

Hi guys, it was yesterday September 16th. Berlin Wittenbergplatz when I was in a hurry to work, I was approached by a promoter and I asked him if he was getting paid for it. A moment later he brushes me aside with "of course I get paid for it" that he works ten hours a day for a good cause and can't pay his rent. I replied that I couldn't solve his problem and kept walking. He then shouted insults like "dirty person" etc. after me. That's not how you promote a good cause (it seems to be a concern for him at first), I'm wondering whether legal consequences will follow

Absolutely appaling behaviour from street “fundraisers” in Berlin. I was harassed on the street and insulted for pointing out the lack of mask. As a lifelong supporter of animal causes, I am disappointed and disgusted.

Unfortunately, despite repeated requests, the WWF has not paid my bill in an inheritance matter in which the WWF became the heir, despite the remuneration decision of a Hamburg district court from May 12, 2022, so that I now had to instruct the bailiff. Apparently the WWF is not meeting its payment obligations in a timely manner. For me, the WWF is no longer an option as a fundraising organization.
