Directly on hiking trail no. 36 from Simonskall, on hiking trail no. 66 from Vossenack to Schmidt/Kommerscheidt or vice versa or close to hiking trail no. 70 Simonskall to Schmidt or vice versa. Were often here in the past...then the years of need for renovation...then the end...new owners...according to the notice, they want to offer something again in the future...that would be great, because the place and surroundings invite you Come visit! ...and promptly it's done and you can stop off/rest again!

Nice restaurant in nature. Everything was good except for the homemade cake: just too small pieces for the price. Everything else was good

Merstrenger Mühle has actually lost none of its flair...was there for the first time as a child about 50 years ago...there was a lot for us to discover...located in the inner courtyard by a pond, there was an outdoor restaurant, the pond is still there there ... and the self-service restaurant is now located in front of the mill ... only the access is still long through the forest on a very narrow road ... which does not allow oncoming traffic ... for drivers a 50/50 chance without much Problems getting there and getting back to the main road..

A very warm welcome just when it started raining. The owner gave us a nice dry place to sit outside. Good cappuccino and very tasty cakes.

This cafe is located on the Hürtgen trail. The path that the Americans had to follow with tanks in 1944 to conquer the Hürtgen Forest in the Eifel, Germany. The Kall flows near the café and there is a bridge with a memorial at that location. Please note: Not accessible by car, due to prohibition.

A very nice Waltcafe if you hike and know that you can get something to drink and eat here, it's worth something. My father-in-law knew this prt and showed it to us. We will go there again. Toilet facilities are available and a playground for families with children. Really great there! To recommend

The road to it is closed to traffic according to the signs. So we walked there. Inquiries show us that if you go there to eat, you are allowed to drive by car or something similar. Idyllic place, very special. Nice to visit.

Small, clear menu. After the reopening, the processes don't seem to be working. Unfortunately, the pasta and potato salad weren't ready yet. The system will certainly need some time after the flood disaster. Still a worthwhile visit.

The forest cafe has become very nice, you could sit comfortably outside and enjoy the sun with coffee and cake.
