We are so pleased with the decision to rent a privately owned unit from a relator! It has a residential feel rather than crowded with tourists. The sandy beach is perfect as is our lanai. Lawn chairs on the grass near the beach, a very clean grill.area, gorgeous plantings are all very well kept. Sound of the surf 24X7! My daughter, who rented the 1 bedroom apt. made the best choice possible! The elevator is a plus for those of us who find stairs to be challenging.. For us, we had the added enjoyment of listening to the music and watching little areas of the commercially hosted Luaus held just a few feet next door during the day and early evening most days of our 2 week stay. The wind picks up and cools us down in the afternoons and evenings. We have only had the AC on briefly, once or twice. Ceiling fans work well to keep us comfortable. Highly recommended place to stay during a visit!

Was right on sugar beach. Nice quite beach that is beautiful. Condo had instant beach access. A nice grass area to sit and just watch the ocean and mountains. Has a nice outdoor kitchen and eating area that was being redone while we were there. There is an elevator so all floors are eccessable. Laundry on every floor. Swimming pool is very nice. Parking was easy. There we places to walk to down the beach close like ABC store, farmers market, shaved ice, bakery.

Stayed here for a week while we were in Maui. Nice location not overly crowded and right on the beach. Our unit was very well maintained and accessible. There's pay laundry facility on each floor. Can be a little loud with the neighbors if they're excessively active but other than that a great place to stay.

I provided mobile massage for 3 guests visiting and staying in unit 101. This condo complex never ceased to amaze me with it's peaceful and gorgeous views. They all took turns getting massages and hanging out at the beach which is probably not more than 30 steps from their unit. I would definitely stay here if coming to Maui, great central location too. Still a beautiful spot to give massages.

Fantastic place to stay in Maui. We stayed in room 502 and it was recently updated and looks fantastic. Balcony has great views of the ocean and mountain. The 2 bedrooms have ample room, and design throughout is fantastic. Sunset view is perfect, no crowds or buildings blocking your view from the grill area down on the beach. The beach connected to the complex is never busy. In the room they have everything you could need for a day at the beach: small cooler, beach chairs, towels, bucket for small children to make sand castles. Loved it!

Great location. The beach here is wonderful and not crowded. The water is really calm in the morning and in the late afternoon. It does get really windy between mid and late afternoon but it’s still very enjoyable outside during those times. Just maybe not the best time to swim. If you don’t make it across the street to the shave ice place, you failed this trip. The condo centrally located. close to the town of khie. About 20 mins south to the resorts in Waillea (shopping. Fancy resorts.) 20 mins to the airport. And 30 mins to Lahaina. Our condo did not have central ac. Just a window unit that didn’t reach the bedroom. We bought a box fan and we’re able to sleep just fine.

Sugar Beach event center. This event center is perfect for weddings and celebrations. Good sized ball room with a bar . Steps lead down to a well manicured area for guests and that leads to the beach. It's beautiful and stunning. Maui's finest luau is what i attended, but i can see the potential for many things. Great set up. I'm sure my review won't give it justice. Maui's finest Luau was great. 2 brothers sang and played music. They put together a nice show with hula and fire dancing. Great atmosphere. Buffet set up. They worked very well together. I came on a Wednesday night. I would love to go again.

This is one of the worst condos, we found 4 cockroaches as soon as we walked in, all the air conditioners had a really bad burning fishy smell to it. What made it suck was that this place had cockroaches where the bowls and food were. Edit: Are first impressions were not to great, but now i have more respect for it. The owner was really nice about the situation and hired an experienced exterminator to get rid of all the cockroaches. The fishy smell was Because someone was cooking shrimp kabobs near the ac unit. This place had all the essential needs like stoves, an oven, microwave, refrigerator etc. the beds were comfy and everything was passable. Overall, it was not bad once everything was under control. Sorry if i left a bad impression on the condo, it really was not terrible and the owner is nice.

Place needs a little updating, and there aren’t really any services offered here. Pool was being renovated when we stayed July2023. But location is right on Sugar Beach, perfect location for getting anywhere else.

The dancers were amazing, nothing could take that away. The scenery breathtaking. The organization of the event was a joke And almost ruined the other positives. We waited in line 30 min before we could even get in. (Not COVID related) They didn't know where to seat us after. Finally did and then moved us right before the show and then halfway during the show found out they moved us to someone else's seat so we had to interrupt the experience of everyone around us to go back to where they originally put us. The food is mediocre, served on paper plates, and dished up as a buffett (which you wait in line for) The food and organization made it feel like a distant relatives wedding, nice but overall everything felt out of place. But I couldn't say enough positive about the dancers and the music so if you can just let that be your experience it's amazing.

What an amazing place to stay. The view is exceptional. Nothing but palm trees, ocean, and the hills of Maui. There are two full baths in each unit. A full kitchen. Good size bedroom and living room. We had a king size bed. Less than 25 steps to the ocean. Wonderful pool, beach showers, sunning chairs, and 4 gas grills in the common area.

Exceptional stay at this property! Had a 1 bed 2 bath unit with a nice fully equipped kitchen. The location can’t be beat, directly on Sugar Beach! Incredible views. The grounds are really well kept and clean as well. Loved everything about our stay.

Rooms weren't the most 5 star experience but then again they weren't a 5 star price. You get what you pay for and for our first trip to Maui they worked just fine.

Well taken care of. Older complex but still nice. Don't follow the vrbo Google directions to get there. Put in the actual address. If you rent unit 202, make sure you pay attention to the door code when Michael sends you the "welcome" email. Great beach front property with tables, several BBQs, lawn chairs and a fabulous sunset.

We love Nani Kai Hale and have stayed there in various units each time we come to Kihei. The sugar beach is wonderful for a walk and the pool is nice for a dip after the sun goes down. Each unit has its own charm and the lanai with it's barbeque and chairs, tables, loungers and beach umbrellas is wonderful.
