Simply wonderful and big. It is however the type of forest in which neighbors usually have regular walks with their dogs. I recommend it if you love nature and especially forests. I also recommend Treptower park which is quite close, that is a few S-bahn stops from Königsheide. You can also combine Treptower with the Dark Matter museum, an out-of-the-world experience.

Forest air nourishes your amygdala and stabilizes your mental health. Try to find the Königsheideteich and wait for the cute animals to crawl out of their hidings.

Oasis in the city. Natural ecosystem is sustained. Mostly no people and you can enjoying being alone in the forest. There’s a pond where birds and frogs hangout

(Translated by Google) A beautiful park to have contact with nature. It is common to see people walking their dogs and riding a bicycle. A calm and relaxing place. It escapes the tourist parks a bit because it is a more modest park, but it is worth the experience.

(Translated by Google) I like the "wild" - e.g. B. that there are many fallen trees lying around and that there are small trails. Finding a picnic spot is very difficult, however, because there is so much undergrowth. Tree population: oaks, pines, beeches. Baumbestand: Eichen Kiefern, Buchen.

(Translated by Google) Beautiful forest area in all seasons! Ideal for dogs but also families. Great old trees (including oaks). The only minus point: There is no nearby opportunity to stop for a break. (Original) Wunderschönes Waldgebiet zu allen Jahreszeiten! Ideal für Hunde aber auch Familien. Tolle alte Bäume (u.a. Eichen). Einziger Minuspunkt: Eine nahe Möglichkeit zur Einkehr fehlt.

👍👍 Nice place to unwind or just go hiking. The moorland is not huge, but the landscape is worth it and is very clean. There are some seating options, including right by the water. Is highly recommended.

Dog park
👍👍 A really nice, spacious bit of forest for dogs to run free and people to hike as they please. The borders of the dog area aren't clearly designated and it isn't fences but my off-leash dog didn't bother anyone. For dogs without recall it's not the best, but a well-trained dog will have a great time...
