A wonderful hiking trail from Kuhedorf via Ungerthal and back again. The tour can be expanded accordingly.

In Ungerthal, past the Hubert Schwarz Center, we walk past the ponds and game reserves to the lonely Marienquelle. Wonderful resting place in summer with crystal clear spring water. Then definitely climb the Heidenberg in the gorge.

Really nice place for short or medium hikes or for bicycle rides. Nice woods. Not that crowded. Good to bring kids. Parking is nearby.

Nice hike on New Year's Eve afternoon. Please make sure you wear good shoes, there is currently forest work taking place.

Nice place in the middle of the forest. Nice place to take a break. A nice destination for walking the dog. Here the dog can refresh itself in the fresh spring water.

No special spring, small and simple, there are benches, but the path is quite nice.

I prefer to walk from Ungerthal. The variety of plants is impressive. On the left is one pond after another. You can also spot deer very early on. The spring itself is very well maintained and is often visited by hikers. There is also a bench that invites you to linger.
