The hotel is close to the train station, and the rooms are okay. The bed-linen are not suitable for people with allergic reaction to certain fabrics and detergent. Besides you can hear the TV from other rooms (above or next door). There are not enough hangers for wet towels in the bathroom. The choice and quality of the breakfast was disappointing. Choice of cheese and bread was bad, only hard boiled eggs and the scrambled eggs looked dry. The salmon and fruits at the breakfast buffet tasted old and caused me food poising. The best guidelines are of no use when they are not followed, and I emphasise again, that one could taste very well that the fruit salad and the salmon wasn’t fresh. Furthermore, all other foods I ate the same day I had breakfast at your hotel were eaten by others as well, those people didn’t get food poisoning. Besides the salmon had tarnished parts. Since I told the checkout-lady on Friday about the salmon issue, it’s a little late to do controls now. It’s simple to do a quick laboratory testing with a couple pieces right away, to secure that no other customer gets sick from the food I provide in my restaurant. Food poisoning from fish can be a very dangerous thing, and should never happen in a hotel. Update: I had to delete all the stars for the service, because the hotel blogged my bank account with the booking amount for about a month after I payed the bill in the hotel. The service personnel is not trying to help with this circumstances.

Ideal location: Close to the office (10 minutes drive) and close to the main train station. Many restaurants are also within walking distance from here. Rooms are spacious and clean but unfortunately I didn’t have a mirror in my room. Room was quiet and no noise heard despite being close to the elevator Breakfast was terrible - cold scrambled eggs, cold potato wedges and not the usual big variety you have at other hotels. There was no choice of sausages (no poultry or vegan sausages) for anyone who doesn’t eat pork.

The location of this hotel makes our trip so much easy. In the lobby for the check in was 2 young ladys where super educated and polite. the room i love it because was big and minimalist, so for me was perfect. despite being next to the Hauptbahnhof you can sleep without any noise. we book the room with breakfast and the food was with a good taste and perfect presentation. we go very often to Mannheim so defitely we are going to stay there again.

Top-notch room with very comfortable beds. There are two rows of windows each with double glazings so the rooms are perfectly quiet despite being located in front of a busy train station. I also appreciated that the checkout was until 12.00, which is later than many hotels.

A complete disappointment. We went to a hotel with a famous name, but there are no towels, slippers or even ear wipes in the hotel. It is disappointing that these things, which are available even in models and Airbnb rentals, are not found in a hotel with a famous name. We will definitely not choose again

The friendly staff welcomes you to a ideally located hotel air conditioned hotel. Walking distance from the city transport hub. Restaurants near n walking distance as well as discount supermarkets. Parking in P5 is 24€ whilst a bit further is parking for 4€ per day.

Great rooms. Rooms facing the inside opposite the offices don't have privacy. Located near the centre and railway station. The breakfast spread is food and the restaurant staff is very friendly and helpful. One of the reception staff could be more polite

I have used this hotel a few times and I love it! Great location for the station. Modern and comfortable look. Rooms are always clean and tidy, I always feel really safe aswell. The only negative feedback I have is 2 small things, 1- no moisturizing cream I know not all hotels do it but it’s nice when they do as the water here in Germany is quiet hard on the skin. 2 - for ppl who are members it would be nice to some complimentary sacks crips and chocolate for example maybe a beer. But I mean I am really digging deep this is a fantastic hotel and anytime I go to Mannheim I stay here. Lastly I would like to say the staff in this hotel are always really friendly and welcoming which is always appreciated!

Location, Location, Location... while you are next door to the Mannheim main train station, you will be far away from all the hustle and bustle, and once you enter your room, the noise is completely gone giving you the feel to a very relaxing stay at this wonderful modern hotel. Lovely staff and a great breakfast made my 6 days stay here really wonderful. Will surely return here again.

Very new hotel! Clean, simple but quality design, great breakfast, good noise isolation, a good Holiday Inn stands for the brand concept. In addition, price-wise very much accepted and I got a good deal when booking early. Free parking is also possible outside, so bascially I give the full star as I did enjoy a peaceful evening there, and it definitely gives you more value than the cost you pay.

Great location, very good starting point to explore the surroundings. Delicious breakfast, fine coffee. I really enjoyed my stay and would definetly revisit. Friendly and helpfull staff. I give 4/5 for rooms because of two things: 1. Bedding was made of not breathable fabric and I woke up sweaty every day - my colleagues had the same experience. 2. Air conditioning was weird, 21° felt the same as 26°, the rooms were generally cold (it was October) and A/C was unable to heat them efficiently.

Pretty new HI. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was OK but the scrambled egg looked not really delicious. I don't see much difference between hi and hiex anymore except for the room size.

Convenient hotel beside the Hbf or Mannheim's central train station. Tram stops are also convenient with a number of lines serving this area a short walk away. The rooms are clean but a little bit cramped, even for one person. It has security card access from the lift so there's a level of security. Must note that the rooms were quiet. Breakfast in the morning isn't much to shout about, it's the usual fare and I found the eggs a little dry and overdone. There's an ample spread of sausages, salmon, breads, fruit and cereal though. Not sure it's really worth the €19 charged. The lounge and working area is great to get some work done while sipping a weißier. Convenience is a strong point.

In spite of reasonably good rooms and a great location the rating is one star based on experience during our stay in first fortnight of Jul 23. 1. The WiFi was not working for 5 days and when we get connected on day 6 it would cut off in 1 to 5 min and then had to reconnect. 2. Worst part is that the staff had no regrets and were indifferent to our agony 3. One of them even suggested to go near other restaurant (not belonging to Holiday Inn) at the corner of the building to use their WiFi! 4. Many customers complained other than us, but they were very stubborn 5. In spite of charges per day over €100 they provided only one 1/2 lit bottle during entire stay of 13 days! 5. Even though our organisation has 500+ bookings (my estimation based on what I saw - on two days we were over 30 guys there and on other at least 8) they were hardly giving importance to our requests on the WiFi; so one can realise how they would react to individual bookings!

The hotel has a very good location. It is near the central train station. Rooms pros: spacious, beaming, with big windows, huge beds, and modern equipment. Rooms cons: poorly installed sockets that can be dangerous. Breakfast: plenty of variants for simple breakfasts, but unfortunately not so many spreads for vegetarians. Definitely would like to book again weekends at this hotel. But will be more attentive to the broken sockets and will request a repair.
