Excellent therapists and doctors as well as a reliable and mostly friendly organization team/reception/appointments. When I had to undergo THA surgery in June 2021, the femoral nerve was damaged during the operation, which left the operated leg paralyzed for several months. (Surgeon: Prof. Bitsch Atosklinik Heidelberg/KKH Grünstadt). Now - almost a year later - the operated leg is still partially paralyzed. The hip operation was followed by a 4-week stay in the rehabilitation clinic. From the rehabilitation clinic I was referred to Rehamed Heidelberg for physiotherapy (KG), electrotherapy (ET) and muscle building training (KGG). The ideal thing is that I can always do these 3 forms of therapy in combination at Rehamed. This has now been the case for almost 11 months. The therapists provide me with the best possible support when it comes to suitable exercises for KG and KGG and advise me based on my unfortunately slow progress and options. This (optimal advice, etc.) applies to both the individual KG and the KGG (muscle building training on the training area). The atmosphere is pleasant and you always have a competent, friendly contact person. The electrotherapy can be set either for muscle stimulation or pain relief. The restrictions caused by the paralysis have led to further problems due to inevitable incorrect and overloading. The therapists deal with all of these excellently and always give me new tips and exercises that I can do additionally at home every day. As part of the IRENA program, you have a doctor's consultation at the beginning and end of the 24 KGG units. This was very positive and informative. Dr. Ghazvinian allowed me to take part in the IRENA program, although my paralysis caused by the operation actually prevented me from being able to train on the training area (KGG) (risk of falling). He justified his decision by saying that I am well-coordinated and not overweight...otherwise, in my situation, I would be in a wheelchair and not - as is the case with me - able to walk short distances with a walking aid. After the IRENA program financed by the pension insurance expired, I decided not to continue my therapies with another, closer physiotherapist, but to continue to use the services of Rehamed. Unfortunately, according to the treating specialists, the therapies (KG, KGG, ET and others) will probably be necessary for a total of up to 2 years until the motor skills and the still disturbed sensitivity of the operated leg will hopefully be intact again. I can only warmly recommend Rehamed.

Had to review twice to show my discontent. Staff threatened to call the police because I questioned why a report containing my personal information costed 100 euros! In the United States at least this is illegal. I was expected to pay this amount for a fully German report, and I needed this in order for me to complete my treatment elsewhere. All these people care about is money, the staff is the most unprofessional bunch I have ever seen and are frankly racist. When asked for the manager, he approached me, not even introducing himself, deameningly saying « What’s the problem? » The seem to expect every Arab to pay willingly and blindly for everything they ask for. They referred to me as an « Arabic » patient as a justification for some of the processes, what does that mean?? If you are not German, please don’t come here. It’s too bad because therapists aren’t bad, despite the fact that their English is limited. Booking appointments at Rehamed is like trying to book at the most exclusive VIP hotel, and it really isn’t such! The atmosphere is honestly depressing. Some sessions are as short as 20 minutes! And half of that time is spent trying to understand what these people are saying. The staff is unpleasant to deal with, and in my opinion the patient is treated as nothing more than a source of income. Funnily enough, they have a 4.7/5 on Facebook, apparently some people like being treated like a piece of meat! I can’t believe that Heidelberg University reccomended this place...

Dear trainers, the process of rehabilitation sports, dates & co. Everything is explained well and the sport itself is fun. So far Marcel in particular has been really competent as a trainer.

Hallo Freunde der objektiven Bewertungen, ich bin jetzt seit 5 Tagen in Heidelberg bei REHA MED und muss sagen, daß ich mehr als zufrieden bin. Du wirst von einem sehr kompetenten Team empfangen und genauestens darüber aufgeklärt wie alles funktioniert und wo alles zu finden ist. Bekommst einen Plan der Einrichtung der sehr genau ist. Die ärztliche Aufnahme wird von einer sehr erfahrenen Ärztin durchgeführt, die auch immer für dich da ist, wenn du mal Fragen hast. Die menschliche Seite bleibt dabei nicht außen vor. Das gesamte Team steht dir mit Rat und Tat während deines gesamten Aufenthaltes mit sehr fundiertem Wissen zur Seite. Das ist bei JEDEM Patienten der Fall, egal ob privat ,BG oder ob jemand anderes die Reha zahlt. Die Geräte im MTT sind auf dem neuesten technischen Stand. Die Mitarbeiter*innen sind ALLE sehr freundlich , in allen Aufgabenbereichen kompetent und jederzeit bereit dir mit Rat und Tat zur Seite zu stehen. Das Essen ist gut und die Auswahl genügend, für jeden etwas dabei, man ist hier ja nicht in einem 5 Sterne Hotel oder im Urlaub. Die sanitären Anlagen sind sehr sauber und werden tgl. geputzt Auf zehn 4-5 Sterne Bewertungen kommt eine mit nur einem Stern. Es ist bekannt, daß man negative Bewertungen kaufen kann? Ich melde mich nach meiner Reha noch einmal. Was vor allem andren am wichtigsten ist, meine Erfolge sind in der kurzen Zeit, sensationel, was die Bewegungsfähigkeit betrifft. Es gibt allerdings Mitarbeiterinnen die selbst in einer Notsituation nicht geholfen haben. Nach einem halben Jahr und nachdem ich die Zuzahlungen immer nach oben abgerundet hatte ,waren sie NICHT bereit mir mit 2€ auszuhelfen damit ich meine Parkgebühren zahlen konnte. Sehr enttäuschend. Deshalb habe ich einen Stern abgezogen.

Overall, a good rehabilitation facility, although the rooms are not ideal and sometimes too narrow. Therapists sometimes show differences in quality. There is not really a lounge available for treatment breaks

Ich kann diese Einrichtung bestens empfehlen. Die Kritik an der Rezeption kann ich persönlich nicht nachvollziehen. Bedenkt man das "hinter dem Tresen" jede Menge Arbeit abzuleisten ist und es mehr als nur einen Patienten gibt so waren sie stets freundlich und hilfsbereit - auch zu den Sprechstunden. Auch Ärtzte und Therapeuten stehen in Sachen Kompetenz, Freundlichkeit und Hilfsbereitschaft in nichts nach. Immer ein offenes Ohr für Fragen. Die Kompetenz der Therapeuten ist absolut profesionell. Bei meinen Therapeuten /-innen Fr. Boos, Fr. Bochinger und Hr. Oberhummer möchte ich mich herzlich bedanken. Besonders bei Hr. Oberhummer, der in wenigen Sitzungen massive Fortschritte mit meinen Wirbelsäulen- und Schulterproblemen erzielt hat.

Everyone extremely friendly. I've only been there a few days, but I have the feeling that everyone is really listening and looking at how they can best help. Well organized, demanding and individually tailored program.

The individual therapy was very good! The IRENA program was disappointing The reception is partly staffed by staff who have proven themselves to be very incompetent.

Hab alles gelesen schon schöne Worte Aber mein Mann und ich haben heute mal wieder das zwei Klassensystem erlebt Er wird am Knie operiert und braucht danach Reha da dachte er sich vielleicht ambulant wäre super Also hat er dort angerufen Er wurde gefragt ob er Kassenpatient ist oder privat da wir beide uns gerne mal einen Spaß erlauben sagte er privat versichert und siehe da sofort waren alle Türen offen er hätte gestern schon anfangen können Als er persönlich hin kam und fragte ob sie noch Platz hätten gleiche Frage nur dies mal sagte er Kassenpatient und oh Wunder es war kein Platz da ist schon komisch es heißt immer das gibt es nicht Es ist eine schande da arbeitet man sein Leben lang zahl Krankenversicherung Pflegegeld und vieles mehr und ist bei solchen Einrichtungen doch nur Mensch zweiter Klasse

Ich habe das IRENA Programm erfolgreich und mit viel Spaß und auch Muskelkater :-) absolviert. Ich habe zwei neue Knie bekommen. Das erste Knie 2021 und das zweite am 15.03.2023. Die Reha habe ich stationär in Bad Schönborn gemacht und dann danach das IRENA Programm im Rehamed in HD. Alles war super. Die Mitarbeiter an der Rezeption waren alle nett, hilfsbereit und kompetent. Ebenso die Ärztin und das Therapeutenteam. Alles wurde sehr genau und verständlich erklärt. Ich wurde in die Geräte eingewiesen und bei Fragen war immer jemand da. Die Geräte sind super modern und es hat mir Spaß gemacht an ihnen zu trainieren. Zwischendurch wurden die Übungen angepasst. Ich hatte immer das Gefühl gut betreut zu sein. Wenn ich mal irgendwann KGG brauche würde ich es sofort dort machen. Praktisch ist auch das öffentliche Parkhaus direkt unter dem Gebäude und die Parkgebühren sind durch Rehamed vergünstigt. 5 volle Sterne von mir. Vielen Dank für die sehr gute Betreuung.

Sehr kompetentes Team an Physio- und Sporttherapeut*innen :) ich fühle mich stets ernst und wahr genommen. Komme nun seit circa anderthalb Jahren regelmäßig zur Manuellen Therapie und kann meine Erfolge auf die stets an die Person angepassten Behandlungen und Übungen zurückführen. Außerdem kann ich die ambulante Reha nur empfehlen! Es wird hier sogar das RV-Fit Programm angeboten :)

Sehr zufrieden mit den Therapien. Gut ausgebildete Therapeuten. Für Reha Maßnahmen optimal. Mit Fahrdienst der Abholt und wieder nach Hause bringt.

Excellent professional rehab support!

I was completely disappointed with the service. When I called them, they told me they had plenty of free appointments, but after the 1st procedure they were not able to provide me with the next appointment during the current and next week (I was prescribed 2-3 appointments per week, they only gave me 1 per week). I had 20 min appointments and came in advance to have at least 20 min of KG, but the physiotherapists were either late or finished earlier, so I had 15 min of exercises maximum. And the level of exercises was approximately the same I knew from the 5th grade of the school, also no special equipment was used. Eventually, I had to stop visiting them after 5 appointments (out of 10) because that was useless and a complete waste of time.

Wenn es 10 Sterne geben würde, würde ich die geben. Ich war IMMER in besten Händen und die Jungs und Mädels haben einem immer das Gefühl gegeben das man ein "ganz besonderer Patient" ist. KLASSE

Ich fühle mich therapeutisch gut aufgehoben bei der Rehamed HD. Was mir ein bisschen fehlt ist, das im Trainingsraum überhaupt keine Musik oder Radio während des Trainings an den Maschinen und Geräten abgespielt wird.

Möchte mich auf diesem Wege nochmal bedanken Die Behandlungen werden sehr individuelle angepasst und ich habe schon nach kurzer Zeit, die ersten Erfolge, der Therapie gespürt.Der Umgang miteinander ist ausgesprochen freundlich und sollte es Probleme geben, kann man das direkt ansprechen. Großes Lob an das ganze Team , die dort eine tolle Arbeit machen.

Es ist ok, mehr leider nicht. Das ganze Reha-Programm geht nach 08/15 Schema, zum Teil fehlen Therapeuten für eine individuellere Betreuung. Das Gerätetraining ist nicht für große Menschen geeignet, da man für die Geräte eine Standard-Größe haben muss. Die Trainer sind durch die Bank freundlich und kompetent. Im Endeffekt ist ein Therapieerfolg vorhanden, halt auf einem eher steinigen Weg, deshalb 2 Punkte Abzug.

Clearly a profit making entity with no interest in patient care. I would never go again. Rude, unprofessional and lack of patient care. When asked for my medical records to send to my doctor back home after spending 650 Euros in Cash for 5 days of physical therapy while I was in Germany attending other business, I was told that to get a medical report on my treatment at this institution, I would need to pay an additional $90 Euros. When I asked why I would have to pay money to have access to my own medical records, I was told that this is standard practice and then threatened that they would call the police! Mind you I was completely calm and simply questioning why I would have to pay for my own records which I found to be absurd! The therapists are ok and the place is frankly run down and cold and needs to be modernized, but my major complaint relates to the money-oriented and complete lack of sincerity, care and continuity of care especially that I am an out of country patient who needs to go back and continue my care. Mind you to get an appointment, I had to submit all of my medical records, MRI results, doctor reports, etc... So if I wanted to go back to the US to continue treatment in Chicago, they would not provide me with any documentation as to what treatment I received, unless I paid an additional $90 Euros. The attitude also was quite demeaning and I was referred to by the manager (after I requested to speak to a manager) as an Arabic patient! Honestly, I don't even know if this is legal! How can you segregate and discriminate against your patients by their ethnicity?! The manager didn't seem to care that I was in fact American with a US passport. It seems this facility mostly deals with Arabs who are sent by their government, free of charge and therefore the facility deems it appropriate to just charge their embassies as they wish. They do not accept credit cards or my insurance card, cash only!!! Very suspicious honestly. In any case, I simply bid my 650 Euros good bye and decided that I will never deal with these people again. What a shame and what a disgrace to the medical profession. My care and my healing and my well being didn't matter it was all about the cash which they required before talking to you or even greeting you... Shame on you RehaMed Heidelberg... A very dissatisfied patient...

I found my time at Rehamed to be always a pleasure. Everyone is very friendly and professional. From the staff in reception to the physiotherapists. I found it easy to make appointments and they were very flexible with times. They have the right equipment to treat patients and the facilities are quality. The physios I had were amazing at what they do and always put a smile on my face. I always felt confident of a full recovery when I was there. I can highly recommend Rehamed to anyone needing Physiotherapie.
