A hidden gem is what this hotel is. Very nice location and very very delicious breakfast. The staff are so nice and helpful. They are welcoming and cheerful. It’s suited in a corner in front of the river. I had a very wonderful view. Parking was a bit hard as it was in a different nearby building but there are cheaper parking at the hotel that must be booked in advance. To sum things up pros: location, breakfast, air conditioning, staff, price Cons: parking and bathrooms in need of a renovation

Even on a grey winter day the view uplifts the spirit ... as does the warm welcome. Centrally located but quiet - breakfast is good and so is the wi-fi. Most of all the management are very helpful - highly recommended!

Very nice clean and comfortable hotel. We stayed here June 2006 on our tour through Europe. Germany is beautiful and this hotel is centrally located so it's an easy walk to take in the sights and the view is spectacular. Most of the staff were friendly and accommodating and we really enjoyed our stay here.

The hotel is nicely located close to the old town and quite comfortable. The breakfast is tasty and generous. There were few negative points: 1) the view from my room was on the wall next building, i.e. no view at all 2) the towel dryer did not work 3) the blanket was very small

The hotel is centrally situated, the view on the river is splendid. It is clean, and has everything that you need. But what really stands out is the friendliness of the Hotel personnel and their willingness to help you. Also the breakfast is composed of really good ingredients, totally recommend.

Hotel Panorama rates high on our list for small hotels. **superb location in Heidelberg, Germany--walk out the door and you are directly in town; notify them if you come by car to get parking **breakfast is fresh, plentiful, good variety and served in a lovely room with Neckar views; excellent service **rooms in any category are clean, up-to-date and optically pleasing; beds sleep very well- it's worth the bit of extra euro to get a room with the Neckar view and more quad meter space **for a 3 star superior, the hotel far exceeds the category **whenever we travel to Heidelberg, this is where we stay; never have been disappointed!

We stayed one night. The hotel upgraded our room without us asking which was really nice. The room was clean and well equipped & well stocked with lots of coffee and tea. Breakfast was included with the rate and was good with many options! Honestly have zero complaints & wished we were staying longer!

I really like this place. The rooms are comfortable (air conditioning!) and clean. The staff is really friendly with English speakers and gave great suggestions for nearby things to see or places to eat. I'll be suggesting this as my work's preferred location to stay when we have people in Heidelberg.

An excellent hotel in a great location. Overlooking the Neckar river. 5 minutes walk from the old town and shopping area and about 15 minutes walk to the old castle. Rooms are great and the breakfast is really good, although an option of hot food would be nice.

This 3 star hotel is the very best we have experienced during our 6 week holiday in Europe. The attention to detail, comfort, cleanliness, friendliness, service and overall presentation rates 5 rather than 3 stars. Location is excellent to walk both sides of the river and enter the historic and modern sectors of Heidelberg. We had a corner room with two windows perched over the river. The bedding and soft pillows requested were excellent.

This was my second time and not as a tourist. Husband was at near University Hospital which made the location perfect. Just ten and one bridge away. It was such a peaceful and secure place to come to every evening. Was lucky enough to have a room on the river side. Was so relaxing sitting in the evenings, with reduced traffic, and enjoy simply watching and enjoying all the sights and sounds on the river. Really felt like a small oasis. Again the breakfast is simply amazing and that this much care is done every day , we must thank the staff that does this. You are greeted immediately with how would like your coffee and how would like your eggs. So the comment, no warm breakfast, must have missed this option somehow. The hotel is ten minute walk to the famous 2 mile Haupstrasse with shops, museums and small eating places. Be sure and reserve a parking place when making reservations. Their daily fee is so much less than the nearby parking garage. This has now become the only hotel I will stay in when visiting Heidelberg. The staff are incredibly friendly and so helpful. Just simply an amazing small hidden gem.

Amazing Service & accommodation the employees speak several languages and so nice, easy to find and in a very beautiful place 2 min and you're in a good bus station (10 min from main station of Heidelberg). Rich and quality breakfast you should not miss. I recommend this hotel so much in addition it has fast internet, and the price is affordable compared to others. Vielen Dank ^^

Fabulous rooms and breakfast. Very helpful and friendly staff. Wish we could have stayed longer.

The first good sign was the notice in the lift. Says hotel is SMOKE FREE. Woohoo. EUR 150 cleaning fee if caught. Room was excellent. Spacious for 4 pax. Shower was very nice.

Clean, great breakfast, within walking distance of everything.

Excellent hotel ,friendly employees, location next Christmas market, extraordinary breakfast, clean , everything is functioning and in good condition , 10 minutes to train station ,view is relaxing ,near supermarket , 1 minute to tramway. I will recommend it to my friends.
