This restaurant came highly recommended by a friend. We decided to have lunch on a Sunday afternoon to celebrate our wedding anniversary with our 9 year old daughter. We had a lovely table in the garden. There is also a small playground for little kids. The garden area is quaint and secluded. We ordered the hamburger, flank steak and sausage. The hamburger was mouth watering. The extra jalapeños gave the burger that extra kick. For dessert, we shared the apple crumble with vanilla ice cream. The combination was irresistible. I gladly broke my keto diet for this celebratory lunch. 😋. We would definitely go again and will bring friends and family members. Make a reservation if you want to have a table. Nearby is a corn maze so we went directly there to burn off some calories!

Have been visiting this restaurant again after a while and was very lucky to catch a seat without reservation. Food was very delicious, prices fair and staff ( Larissa in my case ) was very friendly and attentive. Definitely worth a visit - but a reservation is recommended for sure.

We had a lovely stay at Johanneshof. The room was beatiful, spacious and clean. Breakfast was great. The owners are very friendly. Dinner is very nice, you can sit outside while the children are playing in the playground.

Came from the United States for vacation in Germany. My boyfriend took me here as he says the restaurants always have a special seasonal menu and cook with fresh ingredients! For appetizer we ordered the spring salad with quiche and a special almond(?) dipping sauce. I loved the salad...very fresh and the sauce goes so well with the quiche! I ordered a dish with liver dumpling, wurst, and sauerkraut. This meal comes with a side of bread. The gravy goes so well with the food and the liver dumpling was out of this world! My boyfriend got a burger with potato fries. The meat was so juicy and good! I gotta say the food was amazing! And I had a good time here, I will definitely come here again when I visit! ❤

Fabulous. We stayed here. Unfortunately the restaurant was not open. The local farmer did give us some 🍓 We will return and stay longer next time so we can try the restaurant.

Great local farmer's market/restaurant. Very healthy options available. Super cozy and the staff are really friendly. Wasps might be a little of a problem but this is what happens when you're eating with nature.

One of the best burgers I’ve eaten is from here. Very courteous staff and brilliant beer as well. Got a lovely Spielplatz. Not a wallet friendly but one can enjoy the food and ambience.

Just overall amazing. Food quality is very high, dishes are prepared from local produce, staff is friendly and the secluded area makes for a great atmosphere. Great for families with kids, as a large playground is integrated!!

We went there because of friends and family members told us it would be a great place to go for food. First off, food was delicious. Everything we've ordered was perfect. We were a group of 6 people. Staff was friendly and on point. Kids were happy too, because of the playground in the garden area. I must admit I didn't expect it to be that good, really. Parking wasn't an issues either. Enough space to park the car and if it's to crowded you simply park a view meters away and have a nice walk around the area. It wasn't our last visit and I'm sure to suggest this place to others as well.

Best place for having great food outside. Nice staff and location. Usually quite crowded. Do not miss out the great cakes. Kids playground is amazing. Happy kids and happy parents.
