If I was on death row, this place would make my last meal! 😍 Best middle eastern food I've ever had. The staff is incredible. Couldn't stop eating. Making this a weekly food affair.

We enjoy fine dining all over the world so to have a Greek cafe rival any high caliber restaurant, I’m impressed. The food is amazingly fresh so those of you who’ve become accustomed to mass prepared Greek style fast food- taste buds beware. The food is presented like art work, cleanliness that you could lick off the floors, and you’re instantly greeted by the smiling family who runs this gem. Not a place to miss!

The food is incredible, and very authentic. Every meal and plate comes out perfect in terms of taste, and presentation, as well as portion size. The service is impeccable, and they are so attentive to their customers. Go there! Try it for yourself. I’d give it 10 starts if I could.

Fantastic! Home-made! Authentic, Mediterranean cuisine made with love and pride. Definitely worth your time to stop and have a bite… Had the afternoon off so we decided to stop and have lunch. The offerings were far above our expectations. You can taste the pride from the first bite. We will definitely come back!

Amazing middle eastern restaurant, in my opinion one of the best in the area, food is both fresh, well presented and incredible testing. I came here a few times already, and totally recommend this place. Very friendly stuff and superb customer services.

OVER THE TOP Middle Eastern food. All dishes are made from scratch and thoughtfully presented. The chef/owner is very friendly and meticulous as it shows through his dishes. Hummus has an amazing texture and flavor - takes 3 days to make. Meats marinated and cooked until perfectly tender. Everything I tried was traditional and elevated. Restaurant is very clean and staff are attentive and happy. A must visit - this one takes the crown for Middle Eastern!

Amazing food. Amazing service. Amazing prices. My husband and I shared a gyro platter. We ordered the chopped salad and the rice for sides. It came with two plates in addition to the platter and two sets of silverware. This is the kind of attention to detail that you don't expect at a counter order restaurant. We got smiles and extra TLC from everyone who is working there. The ghetto meat might be the most delicious and perfectly-seasoned, tender and juicy gyro meat I've ever had. The rice was good. The chopped salad was fresh, crunchy, and delicately seasoned. Delicious. For dessert we had a chocolate chip cookie that was fabulous. Thick, large, nice chunks of chocolate, great texture, perfectly sweet - not too much, not too little. We asked to speak with the manager at the end. We complimented him on his food and he was so excited to tell us the lengths he goes to to make sure that he has the best possible quality of everything. These people have a passion for this food and it shows! We will be back!

Great food. Fun to try new (to me) flavors & combinations. The chicken tawook with garlic sauce & grilled red onion was delicious. I loved the okra - it made perfect leftovers straight out of the fridge the next day. The baklava was fantastic. The only dish I was iffy on was the baba ganoush, which is just a personal preference as it was rather smoky. The dishes were presented beautifully. Dinner portion sizes are large. I will definitely be back & already recommended it to many friends!

We have been wanting to try this place for a while and glad we finally did. The gyro we ordered was amazing! It was one of the best we've ever had, honestly. Highly recommended. The hummus and pita were awesome, too. The Zittar pita chips were okay. They weren't as crispy as described. I will warn that if you get the hot sauces, go slow and steady because they are spicy! Good flavor, though. The portions are great as well, and now we have more for later.

One of the best Mediterranean restaurants I have been to. My wife isn’t a big fan of Mediterranean food. But she fell in love with the food here. We are vegetarian. Had falafel sandwich and halloumi. They were both delicious. Portion sizes, freshness, quality, price, cleanliness, customer service…everything is just perfect. Halloumi is delicious but felt slightly salty, yet it’s good. And their home made hot sauce is fire and goes well with the sandwiches.

Wow! Amazing food and service. Marijuan (?) was amazing. Very personable folks and the food was A+. I come through Scottsdale every so often and I’ve found the go to place for me. Thank you!

Rarely do I ever review restaurants or drop reviews on anything at all but yesterday I had food here and everything about it was perfect. I can’t even begin to describe how good the food was (I got the gyro dinner plate with rice and lentil soup). After I finished my food I was contemplating on getting another one to go and my cheap behind never does that so that’s how you know it was good. The staff was also super friendly and welcoming. Clean restaurant and organized seating arrangement made for a super nice visit. Will be returning again.

Woah the food is bomb 💣🤤. Very flavorful. Tons of spices. Very fresh ingredients. You can tell these guys work hard. The place is very clean and I feel like I found my new favorite Middle Eastern spot. I will definitely be back here. Rice is lovely. Hummus and cauliflower salad are amazing too. The beef is so flavorful and tender.

What a refreshing experience finding a place that serves fresh food with amazing flavour plus incredibly friendly service! The cooks are having a great time while being extremely efficient, one of the managers even came over and gave our young daughter a cookie. The grilled Halloumi cheese sandwich was fantastic, it’s nice to find a vegetarian option with that much flavour. You must give this place a try!

We really enjoyed the food. The portions are pretty good, good for two people maybe. We had a gyro platter with two sides and chicken tawook with two sides. The sides were fattoush salad, tabouli salad and rice. The rice was very moist and perfectly cooked, the salads were very fresh and had a variety of veggies and seasonings. Overall we had a good food experience.

One word: DELICIOUS . I am so glad we came across this place. One of the best family owned Middle eastern food that we ever ate . They really do everything from scratch and feel like real home food . I was here yesterday for the first time. Amazing food! 100% recommended. The service is amazing, the owner and the people working there are extremely friendly. The food served uses the most fresh ingredients. Even the way the food is served is very nice. I will definitely be going back.

I went there for lunch and ordered two chicken escalope sandwiches and large fries. It was delicious the sandwiches had tomatoes, Arabic pickles, lettuce and delicious breaded chicken in pita bread. Everything was served on unique French news paper bags. The food came out quick, they had delicious fresh baked cookies and great drinks choices. Will definitely be going back and the staff were so kind!

I always thought I didn’t like hummus until I tried it in this place! Just amazing fresh food at a great price! Had the sampler platter on a recommendation from the server, awesome advice and experienced new to me foods from across the globe!

People of Scottsdale, after years of being devoid of a proper fast casual Middle Eastern/Mediterranean spot, wait no more! De Babel is serving up some of the freshest gyros, falafels, tawook, and pita in the area. Come on by and be treated to a comforting meal worth the price!

We ordered chicken and kebob sandwich along with fries. The portions were huge. I think we were better off without fries as that was big as well. We enjoyed the food. It was yummy and tasty. We found salt in fries and chicken sandwich a bit on the higher end. Taste would have been perfect if salt was a bit less. The place was nice and clean. Service was also very good. For the money it was worth it.

Wow!! I wish I took a photo before I took a bite but it was so amazing after I took a bite I had to take a pic anyway so I could leave them a review. My boyfriend and I came for lunch after finding them on google and I am so impressed with the cleanliness, service and the food!! We will be bringing our fam here because we are seriously obsessed. It was delicious and I highly recommend!

Wow! Wow! Wow!! I love middle eastern food. I have been missing good food from the places I used to go to in another state. I was next door at Fed Ex and I starving. I saw people going into a small restaurant. I wandered over and saw many happy people eating. I went inside and ordered a gyro plate with two sides I chose a fatoush salad and hummus that came with handmade pita bread and pita chips The food is ABSOLUTELY delicious!!! I am so happy I tried it. It will definitely be a restaraunt that I visit each week. I can’t wait to try the other authentic dishes!!! The restaraunt is very clean, the tables are comfortable to sit at. The music level is perfect ( Not blasting loud as so many other places ) The service is good and they are so friendly and explain the menu. You will not be disappointed. Enjoy a great meal here !

I can only start by saying how polite everybody was. When I walked in, They were inviting, they had a smile, and they were eager to greet me at the counter. I wasn't sure what to order, but I settled on the wagyu beef burger, and my girlfriend settled on the gyro sandwich With a side of fries, which was huge. I would recommend sharing a regular side of fries. The food was flavorful, hot, and done in a reasonable amount of time. The presentation was fantastic, and I did like how my burger was served in a pita bread, not a traditional bun. The atmosphere was light, everybody seemed very happy to be there, customers included. My wait wasn't long, and I'll definitely be back.
