I have actually stayed here a bunch of times, and now a couple of friends are staying from out of town - they just happened to pick this place without knowing that I had been a previous guest. They love it. I am impressed at how well it has held up since the initial big renovations. It's a great location, and my friends love their bed and the hot tub. It's worth the money. And the staff are great!

It was a good value for the price. If you need a hotel to spend your nights and enjoy Scottsdale or busy with your workshop or conference, it is a perfect place to book. The first impression may be, actually, it will be misleading. Once you are in, you will realize, you get what you need, and can spend a quite night/sleep, and save some money to enjoy other things, compared to staying at high end hotels. There is a nice pool, too, I had no time to use it, so I can not comment. I would recommend this place for business stay, and for a couple that have plans for outside activities, rather than hanging in their room.

The best budget hotel experience I have ever had. The pool area was beautifully designed and immaculately kept. Staff was professional in a way that seems rare these days. The in-room hot tub was one of the best I’ve seen—comparable to hotels with MUCH higher price points. We had a small issue with our TV not working, but the PM maintenance man had it swapped out in less than 10 minutes. He was also just a downright great guy.

So, I booked here at 3 Palms for my wife and I's 1st year Wedding Anniversary. Upon arrival the exterior looked amazing. Interior was very well kept and our front desk clerk Christina was very friendly. She explained everything at check in and was very professional. I have to admit for the amount I paid I was a bit disappointed. Plus the hefty deposit.. We get to our room and it's stuffy hot, had a smell like some strong aftershave. I found hair on the whirlpool tub and around the sink area. The bed didn't fit the box spring by 2 to 3 inches, the lamp shade above our bed was filthy. It was covered in dust bunnies. The trash cans had no trash bags except 1 out of like 3, the coffee pot didn't have the little component to lay the coffee pouch in to brew so, I couldn't make my wife a cup of coffee the next morning. One of the lamp buttons didn't work. I had to unplug the lamp to get it to go off. The fridge wasn't as cold as it should have been. Our drinks didn't even get cold. Oh and I was walking barefoot to the sink when all of a sudden I stepped on a staple. Where the carpet ends and meets the tile floor, the carpet was all worn out and torn to shreds leaving the nails/staples sticking out. Hurt like heck but didn't want to ruin it for my wife. Also the light switch in the bathroom was damaged and the toilet paper handle was ready to give out. I also had put a request in for extra towels that we didn't get. Overall, it wasn't the best experience. I've rented at other motels/hotels and had way better experience for half the price. It seriously was a waste of money and our time. We made the best out of our stay but we won't be staying there again anytime soon. I had also emailed them about maybe checking in a few hours early days prior to the check in date, to decorate a little as a surprise to my wife but I never received a response. I give this place 3 stars and that's because Christina who checked us in was the star of this place and the scenery was pretty nice as well. The rest? No!

The first room they gave me was so run down and dirty. The bed sheets had foot prints and dirt all over. The furniture was falling apart. Cobwebs all over the ceiling that had a bunch of dead little bugs. Spider web with daddy long leg above the bed. Dirt on the walls and the vent in the bathroom was about to fall down. Lights broken in the bathroom and the tub was dirty and run down as well. Oh... and can't forget the stains on the carpet floor. I was so uncomfortable that I asked to be switched into a cleaner room since you can tell they did not clean the room that I was provided first. They were all bucked up, so I had to wait a day to be switched. I did not sleep that night at all. The next room was a lot better but would not recommend staying here at all. People at the front dusk are really nice, but the place is like a crack hotel. I only went with this option since it had 4 stars and the images online didn't look bad. Do yourself a favor and find a better hotel. Not worth the money they charge for the rooms at all!

You get what you pay for! I got the king delux jetted pool room and it was definitely a room. It was quite all night, everything worked and it was clean. However the TV had a few issues (black lines throughout the screen), and I didn’t expect the jetted tub to be surrounded by carpet and right next to the bed. Over all positive experience though! The staff are friendly and efficient and the rooms are affordable.

We really wanted to like this place and while the pool area seems nice and the staff is nice and friendly, it’s just not well-taken care of. It’s all about the details; that’s where the true quality shows. We had a clogged sink the first time we used it and we were surprised by a huge cockroach in the bathroom tub; maintenance was very quick though. The cleaning was great and you can tell the people working here really work hard.

Great location with a nice walking park across the street, the pool and Jacuzzi are nice, and the room overall was decent and quiet. Price was great IMO for what you get. Only downside for us was the room cards that had to be re-keyed over and over again because they didn't work (until front desk dude showed us a trick -- pull the door handle towards you before inserting the key). All said, we'll be back again!!

My husband and I recently did a quick overnight staycation for an event we were headed to in the area, he mistakenly booked the room for the wrong night and it was realized in the lobby. The staff were super helpful in getting us checked in directly and the room was absolutely beautiful and exactly what we needed. The property is beautiful and we look forward to coming back for a longer stay to enjoy the beautiful pool too.

The beds and sheets are so soft and comfy I was able to actually relax and unwind. The staff are all really sweet and the whole place is perfectly maintained! Pool and spa was amazing and so worth the price. Unfortunately didn’t get to enjoy a room with the tub but the stay was even perfect without it. 10/10 recommend!

The room was showing some serious wear in places. The room didnt feel sanitary though. There was a smell of cologne lingering and also a few hairs in the bed. The couple next door started having a fight at about 3 am which included lots of yelling and banging. So that's the clientele here. Love the pool area here. Asked for more pillows and was denied. Id probably choose somewhere else next time.

Terrific value, friendly staff, good location. The room was very clean with excellent beds and pillows. It was such an awesome surprise to find an outdoor big pool and a large hot tub to enjoy with palm trees all around. The Mexican restaurant next to it serves great food too (you also get a discount on your food there when you show your room card). 3 Palms has a fantastic manager named Stephanie. I found her so helpful to any questions I had. I would stay here most definitely again and recommend this property to all my friends and family.... this place was really nice! :) Too bad we don't have 3 Palms in Canada 🇨🇦.

Nothing fancy but no bed bugs as far as I could tell, based on other's experiences definitely check before settling in though. Staff was really nice, seamless check-in/check-out. Plenty of parking, but getting from parking to my room was a bit of a chore. Location is pretty good. Overall probably one of the better rooms you can get for the price, everything else in this price range had horrible reviews.

Stayed here recently on a layover. Great location, decent amenities. My room had a jetted tub which was a wonderful addition as a tied traveler. The Staff was easily the best 5 star service. Stephanie was incredibly helpful had some great local tips and recommendations. Loved the floor to ceiling glass in the lobby. Rooms are just a little dated but property has plenty of upside potential. I hope to check out this desert oasis again soon when it’s warm enough for me to use the pool.

Rooms are okay. Plumbing needs a major fix, the pipes make rattling sound and bathroom knobs are incorrectly directed between hot and cold. The bath soap is cheep and doesn't lather. Better get your own.

Rooms were tiny in this motel. No closet at all, just a tiny cabinet with hangers, cabinets chipped and broken. I couldn’t even hang up my dresses for a family wedding without getting them all wrinkled. Peeling wall paper in main room and bathroom, cracked mirror and TV. Lampshades cracked too. no towels ever refreshed. We had to share two small towels, one washcloth and two hand towels all week. Requests for more were ignored. Our room was never serviced the whole week. No safe so we had to carry all our valuables everywhere we went. Scratchy ill fitting microfiber sheets and pillows so thin and flat I had to fold it in half or I was sleeping totally flat. Zero food amenities unless you walked across the street. Pool chairs stained and dirty, no pool towels. Hand rails for the pool were a safety hazard! Location was convenient, but otherwise a total disappointment. Family booked this place or we’d have left. Never again!

I think the room had mold in it. Room was reasonable price. Pool is very nice!. Looks like the place had a quick remodel. Painted over wallpaper, large open space between wall and shower backing.... So water can enter. We paid for 2 nights, but left after first. We won't be staying there again. To be clear.... Staff was good, room was clean enough. But wife and I believe mold was present in room 255.

Great room the beds are the most comfiest hotel beds I’ve ever slept in. The pool is amazing. Only downside is the $100 deposit. I didn’t get my deposit back for two weeks! Never had a hotel do that before and I have stayed at hundreds of hotels. If they accepted cash deposit I would definitely return here every time! Just don’t like waiting that long on a deposit to be returned to me.

Beautiful Pool & Jacuzzi w/an added waterfall for the perfect relaxation after traveling! Great location! Super friendly staff..fast and efficient. The bedding was amazing fresh, clean & fluffy pillows & blankets. Large flat screen w/ excellent cable channels..most hotels never have. Would highly recommend! Thanks Christine for being most accommodating this morning!

This was a poor experience all the way through. The price for the room was high, on top of having to pay a deposit. We got to the room and there were multiple centipede/millipede type bugs crawling around the beds. We also noticed the floor was damp around the jacuzzi tub, but didn’t think much of it. We then filled up the jacuzzi tub and turned the jets on, and the tub leaked badly and the jets would not turn off (for over an hour). The floor of half our room was absolutely soaked. The front desk moved us to another room shortly after that. When we woke up the next morning to shower there was only one towel in the entire room. Really???? One towel. In a hotel room with 2 queen beds. The outside of the hotel has an attractive appearance and the front lobby gives you a relaxed luxurious feel. But the rooms are disappointing. I’d give it one star but the staff was understanding and willing to help.

The hotel was clean and the room had everything we needed. It was the perfect location. Has a nice park with a disc golf course right next to it and you can ride the electric scooters through the park to restaurants. Also, the Gecko Grill that is located in the same parking lot has great Mexican food, gives 10% discount to hotel guests, and will cater to the hotel pool. Will definitely be staying again in the future.

Staff was great and friendly. Would stay again. Price was reasonable. Not the cleanest room I’ve been in. Cleaning staff was slacking a bit. The room looks like it’s had the hell beaten out of it. Dust ruffle hadn’t been cleaned or changed. But it’s also not the dirtiest room I’ve been in. Pool and hot tub are nice. Overall a good experience

By far the best hotel I’ve stayed in for the price. Beds are SOFT and so comfortable. I hate checking out. Great location. There is a parks with a walking trail across the street. My sister and I rented scooters and went to a stroll. There is a grocery store across the street. A Mexican restaurant is in the same parking lot and they offer a discount to hotel guest. You absolutely will not regret staying here. Anytime I’m in Phoenix, I’ll be staying here. Curt is amazing and will help you with anything you need while also giving you a good laugh. All in all, stay here, you’ll definitely be back.

I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant. The staff exhibited rudeness, showing a lack of concern after we booked a room. Our clothes were stolen from the laundry, and the response was disheartening as they claimed no responsibility for lost property. Additionally, the house cleaning staff entered our room without permission, further adding to our dissatisfaction.

The service at the front desk was amazing. They were extremely helpful and friendly. The pool was also really fun and clean. The immediate area and basic look of the hotel leaves a little to be desired, but overall was clean, safe and offered what was needed for a night.

The pool is great. It has many rooms. The room is clean and quiet. But a bit small. The location is great. There are many restaurants nearby. The towels have unpleasant smell. They require $100 secure deposit.

Really comfy beds, huge TV and friendly staff. The bathroom is pretty small, but not a big deal. A lot of activity late at night outside, however. Was a little worried about our car in the middle of the night.

This place was interesting...Not extravagant but not terrible...Right in the middle.I liked it. The rooms were nice size, the pool was nice and the location was perfect. There's a Mexican restaurant right next door with a great menu and bar. I locked my key in the room and the staff went above and beyond to help me. If you are in the Scottsdale area and kind of on a budget, this will be the perfect spot

Easy parking. Good service. Clean, comfy, nice room. Would very much recommend staying here. Didn't get to use the pool due to the time we got there would of liked to though!

I've stayed here numerous times for staycations and love it! Was checked in with Tyne recently and she was really friendly and accommodating. She upgraded our stay to the King Suite with Whirlpool which was amazing! The bed is like sleeping on a cloud and the whirlpool is perfect. Definitely recommend!

I stayed here nearly every week for 2 or 3 nights a week for 6 months. Throughout that half of a year, the staff was exceptionally kind and helpful to me. They went above and beyond to readily address any questions I had. Robert - The first person I spoke with, and the one who signed me in on my first night staying here. He greeted me and congratulated me on my new job in Scottsdale! Lexi - Often was the one helping me to book my room, and made sure I got the rooms I wanted! I had left my water at home, and I asked if they had any water bottles here, and she went out and grabbed one from her car because they did not have any. Awesome! Heather - Always checked in afterwards to make sure I enjoyed my stay and did not have any concerns! Stephanie - Always patiently adjusting my wake-up call times, which I kept changing since I am an indecisive person, as it were. Drew - I had a maintenance issue, but the maintenance crew were busy tending to somewhere else on the property, so he dropped what he was doing to come help me out so I didn't have to wait. Jesse - No longer works here, but he was always super kind and greeted me by name! My mom is coming out to visit me and see my new apartment, and she will definitely be staying here! Check out Gecko's grill! It's in the same parking lot, has fantastic food, and you get a discount if you show your room key!

I can’t say enough good things about this hotel. We were traveling with a large flatbed trailer towing another vehicle and needed a place with large, secure parking. 3 Palms let us park along the back property line and ensured we had a room facing our vehicle so we were more at ease. The check in experience was great and the staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Our room was so comfortable, clean and quiet – the bed was UNREAL! We slept great. Easy access to local bars, restaurants, shops and more. There were even a few spots in walking distance. Old Town Scottsdale was just a short drive away with lots of cool spots to grab a bite or a souvenir. We would absolutely stay here again.

A nice place with great customer service! Not long after our check-in we got a call checking in on us to see how everything was for us. We were impressed! Great location near a large park.. some restaurants and a Fry's grocery store were very close within walking distance. We loved the hot tub as well! Rooms were nice. Would have been nice if it were bigger but it suited our needs. A larger bed would have been nice, but it was comfortable. WiFi was also a challenge. Overall we enjoyed our time here. And we will definitely go back!!

We had a really nice stay . the room with the spa was very comfortable. Christina was very accommodating. Helped with getting our new tv in the room working, also getting us the type of room we wanted. the hotel is in a very nice location with the nearby park. Nice grounds, pool area. great staff on all the occasions we have stayed

Upon arrival, our check-in process was with ease. Stephanie checked us in and she was very helpful. The staff was very accommodating and extremely nice. The beds were extremely comfortable. Out of all the hotels that we have been at including the Hilton and the Marriott, their beds were the best we have had. At this hotel we were truly able to relax and unwind. I was not able to plug in my CPAP machine because the outlet was too far away. The whirlpool/jacuzzi in the room was a decent size and was extremely relaxing. It was awesome that they had cable that worked! What I would suggest is for them to please fix the carpet in the room as soon as possible because their were a couple of staples we stepped into and it was painful and someone can definitely get hurt for sure! We had a park view which unexpected (in a good way) and the view was nice. The location is approximately 10 minutes or less from downtown Scottsdale which is nice. There is an authentic Mexican restaurant next to the hotel. We didn't get a chance to try it but it was definitely convenient. The grocery store is right across the street and most restaurants within the area are open either 24 hours or extremely late.

We had a very nice stay. Staff was very welcoming. Room was clean and nicely appointed. The large screen TV was a plus. The bed was super comfy with plenty of pillows. Beautiful park across the street. I wish we had more time to stay and enjoy their beautiful pool.

Nice hotel that is unfortunately showing some signs of it's age. The front entry was completely dark out front at our arrival, but the lobby is modern, clean and well lit. Service was very friendly and attentive. The room was tastefully decorated and clean, but showed signs of age. Stitching on headboard was coming apart, toe kick under the ac was broken, faucet knob in shower came off, etc. However, our room looked out on the park and it was quiet. All in all, still a decent place to stay for the $$$.

  • 4/5 Khrystyne T. 1 year ago on Google
Stayed here for a night. The rooms are really small. No more than 2 people can stay here. But the room was clean, it had a mini fridge but more than one night would be too much, especially for the price. The pool is where we spent most of our time, that was really nice. Plenty of room and outlets at an outdoor bar area. The only thing that was a pain was going back to the room to use the bathroom. I was expecting an outdoor restroom.

  • 4/5 Katie C. 2 years ago on Google
Super helpful and very friendly staff.. Christina and Raul were very accommodating and upgrading my room once when available and then allowing me to check in early to the guest community lounge when arrived a few hours before check in where I could get a cup of tea and get some work done which was great. 2 computers and printer, TV and rest room plus concierge beverage area. Overall all the staff is very friendly and the rooms beds are very big and plush. Great decor and interior design.

I don’t normally write reviews but after reading so many bad ones before our trip looking for the right hotel for us, I feel like I have to write one. I definitely liked the cleanliness of the room. Right off the bat, checking in Christina (receptionist) was super friendly and offered us the late check-in as our flight for the day we checked out was later in the evening. Thanks Christina! Another great help was Nick! Our tv wasn’t working so well so Nick (maintenance) came to help us out right away. Thank you for the help Nick! If you’re looking for a quiet clean hotel, 3 Palms is where to go.

The staff was really nice. Older resort but with a good location. Bed was soft. Biggest TV I've ever seen in a hotel room.

3 Palms was an awesome little stay! My son had a great time, there's a little pool area really kick back. The staff were really nice, Miss Stephanie was my light at the end of the day, she's the right choice for 3 Palms because she wasn't a robot! She laughed an gave me info, not to mention it didn't break my wallet an there weren't any shenanigans like the typical. I'm booking again by the way!!! It's awesome here!!! Thank u again miss Stephanie

Wonderful place with that manager has made this hotel a one star. I say this because she was incredibly rude and immature and went as far as double charging me for some random fee that they’re making up because she was mad at how nice I was to her. She went as far as to say that I was incredibly rude and mean and that I was being red flagged for that. I suggest this lady had her child looked at because she is stealing money from people and that’s not OK

  • 5/5 Ashley A. 2 years ago on Google
Very good for the price especially. Christina checked me in. She was very friendly and actually gave me an upgrade to a spa tub room. You can feel the boutique vibe they’re going for. :) There are some very high end touches. Starting with the bed...so incredibly comfortable and the linens were so soft. A very pleasant nights sleep for sure! They’ve clearly worked hard to renovate the spaces into a boutique style feel with unique wallpapers and design touches. My only critique is I feel they should eventually replace the carpeted areas with faux wood, especially near the tub. But I understand renovations are costly, so perhaps this is something they have on their agenda down the road. Otherwise, I feel they’ve done a great job with this hotel and honestly could charge more if they wanted.

My husband and I come to visit sometimes, and we really enjoy some of the amenities offered. I would really like to thank Antonia and Valentin. They truly went above and beyond right in the middle of our car situation with a flat tire during our stay. They were so kind and helpful. It was truly because of them that we will continue coming back. I cannot express how much gratitude I have for them being so amazing displaying simple 'acts of kindness'. Thank you 3 Palms for having great staff!
