So good! So so good!! We ordered our meal at the self order kiosk and had our cream cheese wanton appetizer in minutes and our full meal just a few minutes later. I'd say we had everything within 5 minutes and it was all hot and delicious. We ordered the sweet and sour chicken with white rice and broccoli and an order of the kung fu noodles. It's just yummy, that simple. Can't wait until our next visit!!

First off I’m not vegan… don’t eat many veggies. I’d prefer a BBQ Bacon Cheese burger but stoped in here after months of walking by it. Got the lettuce wraps and they were fantastic. Service and speed was great and the place was clean. Liked the menu as it has almost a Chinese food vibe but you can also get salads and burgers. Something for anyone. I would just recommend some music. It was super quiet at a little awkward honestly.

I used to frequent this place when it was a poki restaurant. I was sad to see it go but I think Veggie Village was a great addition to this area especially in a building that was already themed green! My friend and I stopped in for our first dine in experience recently. She had received a free lunch at the Phoenix location but never had any full entrees from them. I was a little concerned about how everything would taste being a non-vegetarian or vegan who is just dabbling in meatless meals here and there. Let me tell you I was BLOWN AWAY! My friend ordered quite a bit so that she could sample a variety of things and I’m so glad she did! We tried the spring rolls (not pictured), fried enoki, orange chicken, ginger chicken and Kung fu noodles. I believe that’s everything 😹 I had no idea what enoki (mushrooms) was but the batter with the sweet sauce on it was a great combination! Unfortunately I forgot to get a picture of it. The spring rolls were what you’d expect them to be and I enjoyed them! I ordered the Kung fu noodles and I really liked everything but the tofu (I’m just not a fan of it in general). It was flavorful and a big portion at that! The ginger chicken was a bit spicy but I liked the ginger sauce and the variety of colorful vegetables that accompanied it. I think my friend and I agreed that the orange chicken was our favorite of everything. I had wanted to order it but I always worry about ordering orange chicken for the first time from anywhere because you never know what you’re getting. It could be sweet… it could be spicy. 🤷🏼‍♀️ This orange chicken was the perfect amount of sweet and so delicious! If I hadn’t known, I would have never believed that any of the chicken dishes didn’t actually contain real chicken. I know we both will return in the future and I think about going to get the orange chicken regularly! Did I mention the cashier was awesome? She was so helpful, friendly and talkative! They also have a touch screen kiosk if the cashier is busy or you’re just not in the mood to interact with anyone. Thank you for a great first experience!

I am very pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed my meal and experience at Veggie Village. This is a hidden gem that more people should try out. I had the Kung Pao Soy Chicken and it was very delicious!! The Soy Chicken was so full of flavor. The veggies were good too but I could not get enough of the Soy Chicken in my dish. The staff checked on me multiple times to ensure I was doing ok too. The atmosphere is warm and friendly and clean. Highly recommend trying this place out and definitely get the Kung Pao

My friend and I stopped in here and left VERY happy. We had the salt n pepper eggplant- super light, crispy, and flavorful; the miso soup- exactly how miso soup should be; and the village tofu- the brown sauce had authentic Asian flavors and the peas n peppers were nice and fresh. We paired the food with a cucumber mint lemonade and it was refreshing, sweet, and fresh. We will absolutely be back.

Service here is amazing. The food is also very yummy. I had the orange "chicken" with fried rice. The orange chicken is a lot, I recommend maybe doing half mushrooms. But the fried rice is perfect. I also got "cream cheese" wantons and they're really good too. Literally gonna pass out from a food coma now 😊

I really enjoyed the food and the environment of this place. The employees were very friendly and helpful. The food was delicious, I can't wait to try another dish of theirs. Also, I like their eco friendly straws.

Every aspect of our experience at Veggie Village was delightful. My husband and I are vegan and it has been very difficult to find a vegan restaurant in our area that has good food. Veggie Village is a family owned and run restaurant that offers delicious, original and homemade food. My husband has traveled the world for his work and found the food at this restaurant in Scottsdale Arizona to be the best vegan food he has ever eaten. The owner was friendly, eager to suggest recipes for your pleasure, and driven by a philosophy that encourages a healthy relationship between the mind, body and food. The staff was pleasant and helpful. Also, the energy, or vibe, of this restaurant was positive and peaceful. I hope that the owner, Shaw, opens a restaurant in my town (Delray Beach)!!!!

Their curry noodle is a delicious version of "laksa." It is rich in coconut flavor and the fried bean curd sheets is unique, crispy, and tasty.

Love love love the food! Perfect spice levels and the staff really helpful in giving us gluten-free options. Atmosphere could use a tad work. The staff's "chit chatter"is really loud plus the kitchen "clanging" is not drowned out by the music unfortunately... not the best dining experience in that regard. Staff is awesome outside of that and made sure my friend's meal was re-made not too spicy, which was really nice!

Wonderful experience. So impressed. The menu had a good amount of choices. I knew I would be unable to finish the amount of food I ordered. But everything looked so good and as it turned out everything I ordered was ridiculously delicious. The soy chicken and soy shrimp were very on point. I think I have found my new favorite lunch spot.

This small restaurant is AMAZING! There is something on the menu for everyone. We learned its a family who moved from Malaysia. This is our 3 rd rime and everything we tried is delicious

Hands down THE ABSOLUTE BEST Asian cuisine restaurant in the state. Authentic taste, fantastic assortment, great Thai ice tea. Been here multiple times and it's consistently bomb. 🔥 If you dig spicy, get the Singapore noodle. Just like i had in Singapore.

The food here is absolutely delicious! The dishes have so much flavor and remind me of what I had eaten in Taiwan. This is best place to get Asian vegetarian and vegan food in the greater Phoenix area. The taste is consistently good. People behind the counter are very warm and friendly. You feel good supporting a local, family-owned restaurant that provides healthy, eco-friendly food.

The best salt and pepper tofu I’ve ever had! It’s nice to find another good vegan Asian food in the Phoenix area. Restaurant is very clean and some of the kindest staff I’ve ever met! A great location to just pop in while you’re doing errands in the area.

The curry noodles are so delicious, as are the spring rolls and Indian pancakes. I really like this vegetarian restaurant and recommend 👍👍👍

Veggie Village is a wonderful restaurant. The food is extremely flavorful. We ordered the spring rolls, several tofu dishes, parata with curry, and a couple of noodle dishes. We were in a hurry, so they were kind enough to bring us the dishes as they were completed, so we could start eating prior to our flight. The service was incredible. This will definitely be a place where we will come to every trip to Phoenix. The accommodate so many of the dietary restrictions we have, such as vegan, dairy allergy, no onion or garlic (all of their food is made without onion or garlic). This restaurant is run by a family of Malayasian Buddhists, who are so kind. This is definitely one of the best restaurants in the Phoenix area.

Just dined here and had the vegetable curry. It was sooooo good -- one of the best curry dishes I've ever had, if not the best. Highly recommend it! The jasmine green tea and Vietnamese rolls were really good as well. The service was also friendly and helpful. Will definitely be back.

Been here several times. Food is consistently awesome. Curry noodle soup is a must. The curry noodle soup has a mild coconut taste to it, which i love. Great staff. Food is usually done very fast. You have to go to the counter to order food, and you have to get your own water. But the prices are great.

This is my favorite restaurant to go to for some great vegan food. The best thing about it is that the food is so good my omni family loves it too 😍

  • 5/5 Andrea M. 1 year ago on Google
My favorite casual restaurant to go to. It appears that 99% of the food is vegan or can be made vegan. 100% vegetarian. Large portions, friendly staff. I recommend you try Hakka tofu, salt and pepper eggplant, vegetable curry, fried bean curd, and curry noodle. My husband recommends hot and sour soup , and the salt and pepper tofu. They are great with doing modifications. A lot of the time I will say “no mushrooms, but add broccoli etc… “ and they will do it! The Scottsdale location is larger and the Phoenix location smaller and cozier. A recommendation is to get rid of the computerized self-ordering system. I can’t imagine what they paid for that, but it’s frustrating to use and often times the staff isn’t volunteering to help you with it, nor are all of them trained on it. It’s a very alienating experience and there’s not enough customers at any given time that I have seen in the restaurant to justify it. Rather, focus on the customer service direct experience by taking orders directly, and Ditch the self serve ordering system.

The rainbow salad is delicious! I had it with both ginger and sesame dressing. It's a great combination. Even though the veggies aren't organic, everything was super fresh and tasty. I can tell it's prepared with love. Service was fabulous and I appreciate the calming music. Great spot to rest and rejuvenate!

Very accommodating when I ordered food from the wrong location. Tasty dishes. Tried pad Thai, kung Pao, vegetable curry and salt and pepper fish and roti for an appetizer. I enjoyed the roti, pad Thai and salt and pepper fish. Location is clean and bright.

I'm a meat eater but the food here was so delicious and well-cooked I wouldn't have noticed it was vegetarian. Will definitely come back when I'm in the mood for Asian. Not over priced like most vegetarian places. Great portions. Casual ambience, order at kiosk. Great location, value, flavor, an impossible trifecta.
