Absolutely do not stay here. When we checked in I looked to see when the pool closed and the sign said 11pm. When I changed and went back down to sit in the hot tub there were no towels and I was told by the front desk that the pool was closed. She let me sit in the hot tub for 30 minutes since the sign said it was open for another hour. Jets in the hot tub didn't work and the hot tub was warm at best. Shower didn't get hot either. Mold in multiple places throughout the room including in the blanket. If you stay here shine a light through the blankets, I wouldn't have known it was moldy if the lamp wasn't on to shine light through it. Bottom line, just don't stay here. I wish I would've looked at reviews before stopping. Update: woke up with hives on my face, clearly even though the pillow looked clean it wasn't.

This is a basic room. It had a very strong chemical or cleaning product smell all through our room and hallway . It personally made my eyes burn a bit. We only stayed here for six hours to sleep so did not use any amenities. There was no breakfast available as well. The location was great for highway travel and we felt safe in this location. The staff was nice.

You can tell that Sheraton is breathing new life into an older hotel and that they are in the beginning stages. That being said we had a comfortable stay and it is in a great location for easy access for travel and business in Scranton. The staff made us feel like we were staying at a high quality resort but the property is not there YET. We are moving to the area so we will not need to stay here again but we would highly recommend it for friends and family.

Exceeded expectations for price! Located right off the interstate. Emily was welcoming at check-in and recognized elite status. Rooms were clean and well stocked. Room was large and didn't feel cramped. Pool was good size and clean. Brian was working hard making entries safe in the cold weather. Grab and go breakfast was on point for brand standard. Couldn't have asked for a better stay for the price. Definitely will return to this property next time I am in the area.

Would leave negative stars if I could. Took 40 minutes to check in, staff was insanely rude. Never got our extra requested items and was passed off saying they'd show up. Shower was rusted. Door handle of closet fell on. Someone fought in the room next to us, SHAKING ours, and staff did nothing. Went down stairs to complain at 11pm, met with an employee shrieking and cursing into their mic, and another unprofessional one scolding that they were understaffed and to 'just wait'. I understand staffing issues, i do. But horrible. This is beyond staffing. Dont even bother.

Which I could leave negative stars. This place is terrible. The furniture was falling apart, the TV remote did not work, the air/heater smelled bad, there was gmail garbage can in my room and other amenities were missing- (cups, Kleenex’s, a pen) there were bags and piles of trash in the hallway on my floor the whole time I was there, the pool area was so sad as the whirlpool did not work and worst of all THERE WAS NO HOT WATER IN THE SHOWER! I stayed here only one night because I couldn’t shower and had to go to work dirty. They put me in their sister hotel the “holiday in express” in Wilkes barre - gave us directions to the wrong hotel - and when we got there it was also terrible. Fixtures falling out of the wall, general bad smell. I found BED BUG BITES on me the following day that are still healing. Fortunately I was only there one night and brought minimal items with me. After all this the Sheraton Four Points CHARGED MY CREDIT CARD that is supposed left for incidentals on a PREPAID ROOM!!!! I can’t get ahold of anyone who works there to fix the problem. Don’t waste your money here. The staff is friendly but apparently not enough to avoid mistakes like this or fix them.

I don't understand all the poor reviews! Everything was perfect except bed wasn't a king but a queen. Room a bit small but pretty nice view. Ac worked great. Room was clean Staff very nice. We had requested a mini fridge and were told that it would only be provided for medical reasons. But they ended up giving us a large mini fridge! Hot watering shower worked well. Yes, place could use a little updating but it is fine. No mold in rooms and no broken sink. Everything was great. We would def stay here again.

The Guest Service there are ALWAYS Pleasant! Extremely welcoming and friendly! There on the Go Breakfast are the best in my opinion compare to other On the Go Breakfast from other Hotels. Here they have a good amount of Variety to choose from.. Fruits, Fruit Cups, Bagels, Cream Cheese, Butter, Toast, Cereal Cups (Many Option), Cookies (DELICIOUS), and much more.....The Pool is open till Midnight which is a plus...and it is located in one of the best areas on Scranton! It also has a Gas Station right at the Corner and Gerrity's Supermarket across the street! You also have an ice cream parlor, Pizzeria, and Dollar Store across the street as well!!!

Stayed there for 1 night due to an electrical issue at home. I checked in late! The staff was really nice. Rooms are okay! King size bed was comfortable! Checked out 11AM the next morning! Morning staff was nice too! Rates were reasonable, too!

Loved the personal touch of the staff here. They knew we were there for a graduation and they decided to surprise us with balloons, mugs and other decorations. What a feeling!

This hotel is a gem! Very clean through and through, the rooms are very comfortable, and the bathtowels are very soft compared to the scratchy ones you get at other brand hotels. The staff is very attentive and cordial. Just a great hotel!

My stay was for 1 night, 2 adults and 2 kids. The hotel is very clean, staff very friendly & welcoming. My kids loved that we arrived at 7pm and they were able to swim until 11pm. Loved that the pool water was warm temperature. Free continental breakfast is pretty good. Had a lot of little snacks to grab n go. I wish they would have more then just a continental breakfast, but I totally recommend my room had 2 queen size bed, microwave and small fridge.

The place looks nice and clean overall. I wanted to wind down in the pool after a long drive, but it’s constantly overrun by children. You’ll see children in other hotels too, but here it’s groups of 12-15 and it’s overwhelming. Not sure what’s up with that, because the hotel didn’t look busy. The rooms are clean but walls are paper thin. Our neighbour was talking loud between 2 and 4 am and we could hear everything. Breakfast was “canceled “ in the morning for unclear reasons.

We enjoyed this hotel. It's no longer a four points it was purchased by ANZ Hospitality. The rooms were a bit outdated but very clean and comfortable. The pool was very nice, hopefully they get the hot tub up and running.

I would give zero stars if I could!! I booked this hotel and got to it to find out it was falsely advertised!! There was no sign for the hotel , no lights in and an empty parking lot, the hotel looked abandoned and I didn’t feel safe. They refused to refund me money. I went elsewhere for the night. Save yourself from this horribly run down excuse of a hotel. You’d find a better place in a third world country.

I really liked the room it was clean and comfortable, my only problem was the shower, water didn't go down the drain so it was build up so I had to stop showering so I can let the water down because it was up to my ankles.

Poor customer service!!! Front desk staff acknowledged miscommunication related to the management change but made no effort to correct a lost reservation. I attempted to reach a supervisor three times but received no call back. I have no way of knowing if the original staff passed on my message due to their disrespectful and dismissive presentation.

Sorry it took so long, but our stay was awesome. We were there for my son's wedding. The entire staff was so awesome. Emily, Tameka, Debbie, Stanley, and Tristan, thank you guys so much for the great hospitality. See you guys soon.

Honestly this is a good location with a lot of potential but the lack of attention and management kinda makes the experience average. Everyone was nice ,room was decent with stuff missing (no tooth brush, no body wash was filled in the container) you can ask and they will get it done but the lack of attention to customer experience is what makes this an average experience. Restaurant is closed so no food other than breakfast(due to Covid) we were able to order pizza and make it a decent night experience. They have drinks and stuff downstairs but it’s obviously overpriced so don’t put it on your credit card ask for price and pay. This is all management issue staff was incredibly supportive.

The room was ok. The smell in the lobby and halls was nit reassuring. The outside is not really what Im used to in Sheraton hotels. Sorry, if you have another choice, choose it. If nothing is available, it works.

Great stay. Seeing some bad reviews on here lately, but I gotta say different. Everything was good. I’ve stayed in the past, and it was good then too. Staff was wonderful. Room was super clean. Grab & go breakfast was far superior than many other hotels I’ve been at. Hopefully next time, the restaurant is open again.

Staff was fantastic and accommodating! Hotel itself has seen better days, but they seem to be slowly renovating it! Beds were on the soft side (too soft for my liking) but enjoyed an easy chill time nonetheless.

this place was a dump. so dirty and the property was not cared for. you could tell they were understaffed which is unfortunate but not acceptable when spending $300 for two nights. the only positive was Emily at the front desk who was a sweetheart and helped us get refunded for the second night so we could book a room elsewhere. give Emily a raise.

First, let me say that the pictures of the rooms on the hotel’s website are false! Not what the rooms look like at all! Hotel needs major renovations! Hotel was dark. Hallways smelled. Room looked old and dingy. We left! Not sure why Marriott would want to be affiliated with this hotel. ???

Malik, Tristan & Emily S all went out of their way to help me to enjoy a WONDERFUL visit. I had no problems, a clean, comfy bed & a quiet room #617. Pool & hottub were opened, restaurant was not. Nice cool AC. Fairly clean room & very clean bed.

Even though a lot were said, my night with Four Point by Sheraton was not bad. The room was clean and staff was so friendly. I enjoyed their meal and location was accessible. I don't mind visiting again any time I am around.

Bathroom was absolutely filthy and disgusting. Mold everywhere in the shower and the entire shower liner. Mold on the walls. The hair of the previous occupant still on the shower walls. Splatters all over the glass surfaces. Would absolutely not stay here again.

For $300+ I expected a top tier hotel. I was ignored for several minutes when checking in but she was very pleasant once I was acknowledged. Our room was clean but shabby and dated. Veneer peeling from the bathroom door. One towel each. Wrinkled dust cover on the beds and sheets that didn’t fit. My husband took our dog outside the main entrance around 8pm and had to circumvent 4 dodgy looking young men hanging around the door, two of them passed out. No breakfast, just coffee available in tiny Dixie cups. NEVER AGAIN! What a dump.

Please avoid this hotel at all costs. Not only did they cancel our reservation the day before we were supposed to arrive after we had already checked in, but when we tried to call and fix it they told us it was “not our problem and we should’ve dealt with this earlier and booked more in advance”. Made no sense. We had no where to stay. Thankfully at the last second we found a hotel, who has been amazing. Here’s the kicker. This morning, as we are waking up in the new hotel, the one that cancelled us charged our card. How is this possible when we were cancelled? We learn the only way is if the hotel manually does it. Finally we get back in touch with this hotel unfortunately get the same person who cancelled our reservation. Emily S is the front desk supervisor (who has refused to give us her full name). She again said it wasn’t her problem and again we needed to figure it out. Our bank and our hotel front desk (who we even checked with to make sure we weren’t crazy) said it was this hotel that manually charged this card after our reservation was cancelled (we have the cancellation and all the receipts). Now we are fighting to have this charge removed. Emily S is refusing to work with us and hangs up on us when we call and insists we are threatening her by having her remove this charge. Our card was charged this morning - there wasn’t even a temp charge the day before as if we had checked in (our hotel now did this). We know it was not done accidentally and the hotel is responsible. Emily S also refuses to connect us with any other management to deal with this which makes me sure it was on her. At this point we don’t even know what to do we may have to go there in person (which again she said would be us threatening her?) This has been the worst customer experience of my life and I’m shocked at the behavior of this employee. I sincerely hope no one books here and goes through this.

Where to start. Pool was closed. Lobby had no air conditioning. Lobby restrooms had no soap. No AC in gym. Drinking water fountain was broken. No breakfast (supposed to be a grab and go available). Room towels were almost threadbare. A very poor reflection of the brand. I gave a second star because they were nice enough to give us a new room when the first one smelled strongly of cigarette smoke and the woman at the front desk was pleasant.

  • 3/5 Antonio C. 2 years ago on Google
Beds were so uncomfortable. Pillows were so soft that your bed would almost hit the mattress. There was no point of putting a pillow under your head. I thought about getting Sheraton because of the quality of the sleep but now I will rethink it if I ever need a hotel. The employee in the reception when we check in was super friendly and when we check out too. I got no issues with customer experience.

Not impressed with the complimentary breakfast it was more like a grab a coffee and packaged muffin and run kind of morning meal. I thought there would be a better selection. The staff was helpful and pleasant. The stay was quiet as we seemed to be the only occupants on the entire floor. It worked for one night during my travels.
