To be honest, I was slightly offended by the pricing at this restaurant. It is a hotel restaurant, and I can't say that the ambiance is amazing or anything like that. That said, it is convenient if you are staying at the Marriott, the service was good, and the food - at least the food that I had, was really delicious. I started with the clam and crab chowder, which was creamy and had a great flavor. I then had the king salmon in beurre blanc, which was really delicious. It could be that as someone who lives in the Southeast, I just don't have the opportunity to eat king salmon a lot, but about the fish itself and the way it was prepared was top notch. If you're staying here and you don't have a car or you're just feeling lazy, I would recommend this restaurant. I actually thought of Ubering due to the price of the restaurant, But I realized that with the amount that I would probably spend on Uber, I would just be easier and perhaps cheaper to eat at the hotel.

Seatac Layover? I (HACK-Free Pickup & Dropoff) I asked a friendly stewardess who lives in Seattle to share a recommendation for a great restaurant that was close enough to the airport that no sudden traffic flare up, construction closure or anything else could potentially be an obstacles when it was time to catch the next flight. Superb dining experience. Comfortable atmosphere. To ride for free, simply follow the directions to get to (D)....if you arrive at (D) and you happen to be at street level near baggage claim, simply locate the large staircase and escalators and head up to the next floor, then keep straight and pass through a short covered walkway. It will look like you are walking into a parking garage and then you see a escalator on your left, it will bring you back to street level. Now you are at the line where the hospitality shuttles pick-up. Time to redeem your free ride, they have 2 large shuttle buses that run every 15 minutes. Your shuttles are pictured below. Restaurant is located inside of the SeaTac Marriot. Wonderfully updated very spacious property that is upgraded. After enjoying your meal at Aquaterra, you are welcome to lounge at the bar in Aquaterra or check out the sports bar and there are also several large amazingly cozy places to stretch out. Take a look at Aquaterra website for the menu and then check out the SeaTac Marriott. This was a gift, enjoy your visit.

The menu isn't that exciting, but it's a restaurant in a hotel - so I don't think you should expect it to be. But the décor is top notch and of course it's very conveniently located across the lobby if you are staying at the Seattle Airport Marriott. The best part???.....the service. Great wait staff - especially Phillip!!!

I stayed at the Marriott here, just near SeaTac Airport for two nights. Both mornings, my mother and I ate breakfast here at AquaTerra. There is a buffet available, at a cost of $22. Neither one of us chose that option. There simply weren't enough options, in my opinion. I had the same thing both days - The American. Featuring two eggs (Over medium, for me), a choice of meat, hashbrowns, a bread, juice, and coffee -- for $18. It felt like a value. Both days the eggs were fantastic - and accurately cooked. The Canadian bacon was four decent sized pieces, and tasty. Mom had an omelet. Our total for the day was under $40, which felt like a good value. The food was delicious, and consistent between the two days. Service was friendly and attentive.

I would give this restaurant a one for the extreme poor quality of customer service they provided. The food was great no doubt. But what is the point if the service is so bad?

  • 5/5 Elisa S. 5 years ago on Google
Okay, disclaimer, I came to visit someone going to the Army, so our meal was paid for. However, I do want to mention that the customer service was spectacular. Shared a Chicken Pasta Primavera and Crab Chowder; it was absolutely delicious, and very filling. Very classy looking place, and looking forward to a stay here again in the near future.

Standard hotel restaurant. Burgers and sandwiches were good but nothing special. Breakfast was okay, again nothing outstanding. Overall it was expensive and if it weren't for the convienance of being in the hotel, I would not go to.

Food was really delicious, and I was caught off guard finding myself impressed with the sides of all things. The cauliflower cake was crispy and divine, all our protein options were delicious as well. At the time of my review most cocktails are $12-16 and dinner options are 18-25 on the low end and 35-50 on the high end. Keegan our waiter was friendly/awesome, and compliments to the chef.

Dear Marriott Aqua Terra Bartender - I expensed about as much effort and passion on this photo of the HENDRICK’S GIN & Tonic you served me as you did making it. First, you should know you have failed. As a refresher: HENDRICK’S GIN & Tonic INGREDIENTS * 50ml HENDRICK’S GIN * 150ml Tonic Water * 3 Thinly sliced rounds of Cucumber HOW TO MAKE * Combine all ingredients in a highball glass filled with cubed ice. * Lightly stir and serve. * Garnish with three thinly sliced rounds of cucumber.

Awesome clam chowder! Great salads that are large enough to share. Crab cakes are generous in portion size, but snow crab just isn't as good as blue crab lump crab meat. Chicken wings are also quite good and at least a dozen pieces. A little pricey, but worth what you pay.

Fabulous food. Pan roasted halibut with black coconut rice is to die for.. ourvserver, Phillip, was friendly and attentive. We had the place nearly to ourselves which was a nice quiet experience. Would definitely come back next trip to Seattle.

Above and beyond service sitting at the bar area. Attentive bartenders who IMHO offer 5 Star Service. Typical "Airport Hotel" prices for food.. but The Marriott Burger ($18) always seems to be worth it.. Delicious.

Good food. Chit prices. $8 for a coors or Miller lite? Lol. Yeah right... Like I said, food was good but waitress looked doped up. Didn’t see her for like 45 min.

Really enjoyed our buffet breakfast at this restaurant in the Marriott - the true ‘ Marriott’ branded hotels rarely disappoint and this was no exception. . Great loyalty recognition. The highlight of our stay was the wonderful omelette s made by Fatenah, who also exhibits the true Marriott sense of customer service. She looked after us wonderfully as did the host.

The food was overpriced but it was good. The drinks however were definitely watered down. I had 5 Tito’s martinis and I didn’t even get a buzz. That’s impossible so they definitely water down their liquor which is illegal last time I checked. I’ll never stay there again and it’s a shame, everything else besides the parking was good. I’m reviewing and talking about the bar and not Aqua, I wasn’t given the chance to review the restaurant and bar unfortunately.

Disappointed. Ordered the chocolate mouse and for $14 its not even fresh. It’s such a simple recipe of whipped egg white, cacao and sugar that literally takes 5min to make. Instead it was clearly created a long time ago, possibly not even at the restaurant. The whipped cream was from a can, what an insult for this price. If you’re charging the same as a Michelin restaurant for a dessert, you shouldn’t serve grocery store quality

Great breakfast buffet. Everyone was super friendly and went out of there way to make our breakfast great. Thanks to Kelley, Thao , and Fattaneh for the awesome service.

Served soggy Caesar salad, sent old yellow shrimp cocktail back, which was acknowledged as bad, so both server and kitchen tried to serve it. Soooo no not recommended at 2 people almost 100 dollars.

Hotel restaurant that’s currently (as of December 2020) limited to takeout due to state COVID-19 restrictions. The hotel lobby was quite a nice place to eat the boxed meals. The staff was so very helpful, accomodative, and friendly. Do note that due to corporate policy they will not accept cash. It’s a bit pricey as one could expect considering the venue and the portions do not match the price. The staff made this rating what it is.

It's surprisingly not too bad for an airport hotel restaurant. After a long flight, I enjoyed a late dinner in a very large room with only one other table. Nice and quiet. If you don't want to go into Seattle to eat. It's a good easy choice.

We were pleasantly surprised how good this restaurant was for being in the hotel. They had some lovely vegetarian options and mixed drinks.

My family was planning to eat here on Mother's Day. My Dad called to find out about what would be available. We arrived at the hotel at 2 pm and were surprised to find everything closed up. The buffet was already over! They did not inform my father of the closing time when he called, and besides that, who closes a buffet that early on Mother's Day?? I complained to a staff member and to the manager, who were apologetic, but they didn't offer us anything to recompense us. I definitely won't be returning here for any reason, and I will also be complaining to Marriott headquarters.

I loved it. My crab and clam chowder and soul were fabulous. I was expecting a mediocre hotel restaurant and got a great experience and fantastic service. If you stay here grab a meal here. The dining room is elegant and attractive. Care is taken in the food. Five stars all around.
