Restaurant American restaurant

🫤 Food was haphazardly thrown together. Quality was very poor. Didn't taste good. Waitresses were standing in the corner chatting about life and their work issues while customers weren't being served. The lady in the picture was rude and looked pissed at the world. Won't go here again. People often mention chicken, fries, airport, sandwich, good, burrito, time, order, avocado, breakfast,

Was looking for something healthy to eat and I found it at Skillet. I got the avocado breakfast burrito and mixed greens and it was great. Generous portions, healthy, flavorful, and fairly quick (10-15 minutes) considering how busy they were. I’ll be back!

I just ate here. Before I did, I read through these reviews and decided it was worth a shot- glad I did! The reviews complained a lot about the fact it is expensive (it is, a burger or sandwich costs $19) but then again, it's the airport. The reviews also complained about the grilled cheese sandwich. Just don't get that. What my wife and I got were the chicken and waffles as well as the burger which comes with fries. The burger was really good but the fries were even better. And I'm not a chicken and waffles fan... too weird of a combination... but her fried chicken was amazing. I wish I got the fried chicken sandwich. Either of those selections are great! Service was very quick too. 5 star experience for me.

I’ve had skillet togo a long time ago at a food truck so I’m happy to try it at SeaTac. I bet it’s more expensive here but it wasn’t bad. Was able to comfortably share a chicken & waffles with another person. The chicken was great, hot, crispy, and flavorful. We got a side of eggs too. My only complaint was the portion size of the chicken, could have twice the amount and I’d be happy and satisfied but overall good breakfast.

I used to live next to the Skillet in cap hill and would get their chicken sammys (to die for) all the time. Relieved to not be disappointed and re-experience nostalgia with quality you’d expect from their regular restaurants. Will be my go to spot at SeaTac regardless of what gate I’m at, like I did today (N was not my gate).

Very nice place. Staff was fast, and friendly and kind. Everything goes through an online scan code, that's where you order and pay but servers are able to take your order if you are having trouble. Drinks were very good and fries were tasty. Don't waste your time going to the other places. This is the best one in the N wing.

Terrible food with a matching experience. The fried chicken sandwich was deep fried until the outside was hard as a rock - with a similar taste. The fries had no seasoning other than a sprinkle of dill. DILL on fries? I noticed that very, VERY many other patrons left with large piles of food left on their plates. The table next to me left over almost everything and only finished their drinks. Did I mention the price of my chicken sandwich and fries was $19? Oh, and you paid in advance and tipped in advance of receiving the “food”. Nice touch.

$19.99 for a “chicken sandwich” essentially no meat on the sandwich. “Chicken tenders” was also just a cut up chicken thigh. If I’m paying $20 for food it should’ve been exceptional. Good brews, horrible food.

Lots of reviews saying folks should keep in mind airport food is expensive. Sure. But skillet has a reputation and when the quality is so poor, it feels like you're being scammed. I had the breakfast burrito and it didn't meet expectations. The cheese inside was still cold and unmelted. My partner's sandwich was dripping with oil. Look, some folks clearly have good experiences here so all I can take from that is that there is a massive consistency problem in the kitchen.

Had the avocado burrito which was great. I have never been to a restaurant, anywhere in the world, where the waitress had such a nasty demeanor. We were asked to order on their website and pay before the food was brought out, which is understandable. However, while we were looking through the menu, I asked if she can bring some water. She quipped back, did you pay yet? After we had some issue with the online ordering, she grabbed credit card and brought back a receipt to sign. Still no water. Finally she comes back with water but when I asked for some straws, she asked curtly, “no tip?” We said that we would leave cash, obviously that was no longer the intention after this experience. If management is reading this, please consider switching to take out only because you don’t know how to service tables.

Airport food is overpriced, that's a given. You may have to wait, of course. Dealing with uptight travelers can't be a dream... Having said the obvious, Skillet in the north concourse of Sea-Tac isn't bad. The food is decent, warm and tasty. The fries were delicious! The service was good, attentive for being constantly busy. If you are one or two, they have quick counter seating. Nice spot for an airport meal!

I had the fried chicken sammy. It was your typical pricey airport food, it wasn't amazing but filled the belly.

First time in a long time I have said this is good food at an airport!! Servers are jamming, no time for small talk here but both were friendly, polite and worked well as a team behind the bar (TJ & Souni) I had the very fresh avocado breakfast wrap with bacon with salad...over dressed but very yummy balsamic dressing

Must travel from other gates to eat here at the airport! Ignore the grumpy reviewers, this is a standout restaurant. My flight to London was on A gates and trekked over here to see the new N terminal WOW!! really beautiful with great shops and coffee (caffe vita) back to Skillett! Ordered a cobb salad which was generous size with fantastic quality ingredients and a half a ripe avocado. Very very good. Bloody Mary was tasty and paired well with the salad. Service was warm and friendly. They clearly care about the quality of the product they are putting in front of you here. ◡̈ So happy that I made the visit!!

Super friendly servers and delicious food. Some of the best quality airport food I’ve found. The fried chicken sandwich and kale Caesar salad are my favorite!!!

I had a side Caesar with blackened salmon at 8:30 in the morning. It was so delicious and affordable. I would for sure get this again, next time I'm trough. The staff is also very attentive. Jessica had my next drink already to bring over when I finished my first. Everything here was fabulous 👌 👏 👍 😍

"Overall, I absolutely would not recommend this restaurant and I would actually warn people against it." The only reason I am giving any stars is because the staff deserves some credit. I got the breakfast burrito with avocado. I have never in my life seen eggs so weird. The best I can describe them is artificial, plastic looking. The burrito was cut down the middle and the eggs looked sheared and shiny. I didn't want to be rude so I just got it to go and picked out the eggs. But then I discovered the fries inside were not cooked, just thawed from frozen... You know that grainy taste of uncooked frozen fries is pretty undeniable. And for being in Seattle the coffee was awful. Also ordering your food in the app, but then ordering your drink in person is so weird. I accidentally ordered my coffee in the app not knowing this and no one saw that I ordered a coffee until after my food got to me and I had to tell the server. Don't do this half and half it's weird and confusing. I'm not sure what part of the burrito did it, but my stomach was upset for several days afterward. And the only thing I ate out of the ordinary was this burrito. I know in my heart it was from the burrito but I can't prove that. Just get some real eggs, cook the fries, make fresh coffee often, and pick a lane with the menus. Overall, I absolutely would not recommend this restaurant and I would actually warn people against it.

While I was waiting for my order. I observed a waitress pick fries from a customer order, wave them at the cook then throw tbem back on the plate and proceed to serve the plate to the customer. A moment later, a cook removed a piece of food (piece of chicken) from a customer's plate that was under the hot light waiting to be served, and walk away with it. These actions should be investigated by the health department. If I saw this in 5 minutes, what else is happening? Additionally the service was so disrespectful. After paying over $50 for 2 sandwiches, fries and water, they refused to let me charge my phone while I waited for the order. Was told I should have ordered meal to stay then it would have been fine. The price is the same, I don't get it. This place deserves to be shut down.

The burger I had was outstanding. It had arugula, bleu cheese, and bacon jam and was served on a brioche bun. The fries were fresh and had perfect texture. The service was very friendly and fast. You can order and pay by QR code if you wish. Great experience!

Not sure what’s up with the low reviews- the Chub was one of the best breakfast sandwiches I’ve ever had. The eggs were yummy, the sauce is made in-house, the jam deliciously paired with the Brie and the bacon, generous portions. The avocado wrap was legit as well, big, fresh. Awesome place even if it was not in an airport! 5 stars.

It’s a busy and hectic airport however getting a couple tables at Skillet for our large group worked out nicely. The server was super friendly, extremely helpful and the food quite yummy!!! Very impressed. Being in the airport I expected less but certainly got more! A little pricey but expected that. We all walked away from the table full and ready for the next leg of our journey.

Food was much better than expected; pricy, but everything in Seattle is expensive. Our server was great, but overall, the service was ridiculously bad. 3 employees would rather stand around chatting than take care of paying customers.
