Gorgeous! Clean! Heaven on earth! Just don't book a Saturday or Sunday arrival day. Sea Brook Island is cashless. Amenity cards are required to purchase anything, or use any facilities. Amenity office closed before 5pm on Saturday, after relating a 6pm close time to me by phone. Office is CLOSED on Sunday. So we have no access to anything on the island until Monday after the office opens. No response to the email, or messages left. This would be a definite 5 star if not for the lack of professionalism from the Seabrook Island Sales and Rentals booking and amenity office staff.

Very short walking distance to beach. Maybe 20 to 30 yards. Excellent scenery. The rooms always have some sand on the floor, but that's to be expected at the beach. Beds are hard as bricks. Deer will walk within 5 feet of you, Dolphin chase fish right up onto the beach. Overall worth the trip.

This place is Amazing! The private serenity is so rejuvenating. We biked, kayaked, and used the paddle board on this trip. Previously we have played tennis and enjoyed a morning beach ride along the coast thanks to the equestrian stables. While being a a quiet community it’s just that a community, where the people love animals, being active and are super friendly. When on your miles long beach walk may just get you a dolphin show, these majestic mammals frequent the waters near PWV and you may even catch a glimpse of a baby. If your a night owl, don’t worry, I have witnessed bioluminescence while walking the beach around 12-2am an amazing experience for a summertime beach walk. The common areas are well kept and maintained. We feel totally safe here when we bring our little girl, who also like to bike around the beautiful sights. Most nights we have a permitted beach fire. This may take some skill, luck and an overwhelming desire to impress your lady. Beach people know this is not a rookie moment and must be executed with extreme professionalism. Freshfeilds is a stones throw away boasting some great shopping and fine eateries. Treating everyone like family there is no other place you will have to go. We can literally stay for a week and never leave the island. Epic adventures every time.

To be clear we stayed at 1342 Pelican Watch not 1314. Nice view but the already cluttered deck had beach chairs and beach toys scattered everywhere. Sadly the Love Bugs were apparently mating and could not go out to enjoy the view much because they swarmed you when outside. Not the fault of Pelican Watch but when we arrived it was as if they were not expecting us or they could have had the gazillions of dead bugs cleaned up. Porch/deck lacked privacy. Also no way to grill which is a big part of our vacation. On a positive note, great bed and furniture indoors. Nice stroll to the beach on a boardwalk.

This is my favorite place to stay when visiting the Charleston area. 30 mins to downtown Charleston, clean and comfortable accommodations, direct beach access on a quiet beach, great amenities should you choose to use them.

Sweet little condo and very clean. Then you step out onto the balcony and see dolphins swimming.
