I was absolutely amazed with the entire place. The view is beautiful, the landscaping is wonderful to look at. The pool was clean and cooled/heated to the perfect temp for swimming. The hosts were amazing and sweet. The breakfast was beyond my expectations! The bed was really comfortable to sleep in, and the rooms were very beautifully designed and decorated. We will definitely be coming here again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay with Kelley and John. The rooms were exceptionally clean with every amenity possible. The pool and patio were very nicely kept and the views from the deck and even the windows in our room were breathtaking. The hosts provided great suggestions for local eats and activities and provided personable conversation. Breakfast was delicious and very filling, staying here feels like visiting with old friends! We can’t wait to come back.

The Pelican Nest is perfect for rest and peace. The breakfast is gourmet all the way! The rooms are lovely. The pool area is very nice. I loved the back porch and the enclosed glass sunroom which overlooks the Galveston Bay. The owners are precious kind hearted people. They take pride in their work and everything is done with excellence. I will return and bring a friend or two so that they can experience The Pelican Nest

My wife and I stayed at the pelicans nest for the 1st time in February. This will definitely not be our last. The food was delicious the hospitality was awesome . Kelly and John are the perfect host and hostess.If you are looking for a relaxing serene place to stay while visiting family, this is the place.Thank you Kelly and John for making our stay so comfortable.

Bnb All I can say is wow. This was a perfect stay. My wife and I needed a place to relax a few days and this was better than expected. Such a beautifully decorated home with every touch carefully planned and thought out. It’s super clean everywhere! Beautifully landscaped outside of house over looking the water. We caught the end of summer fireworks our first night. We had a perfect view right from the porch. After catching dinner down the road it was a perfect way to end our evening. We stayed in bay breeze room. The bed was the most comfortable bed. Very relaxing and comfortable room. It has a beautiful bathroom with a chandelier. And a jacuzzi tub that comfortably fits two. Equipped with ample amount of towels. It has everything. The facility as a whole was just amazing. The porch with seating and even a floating bed. The outdoor seating area and fire pit was so nicely set up. We even enjoyed the pool which was very nice and private. Very clean as well. We didn’t get a chance to enjoy the sun porch, but it looked very comfortable. It has snacks, water, coffee and tea. And even an ice machine which we loved! The hosts are amazing. I even booked my visit last minute Ava they were able to accommodate everything. Very personable and kind people. They really know what they are doing when it comes to running a bnb. Breakfast was out of this world. With coffee, fresh juice. More than I expected. The first day was an amazing hash brown crusted casserole. Day two was an amazing blueberry French toast bake. The facility is on the water. It is near restaurants and anything else you could need. Both nights we enjoyed Tookie’s seafood. The coconut shrimp was great! We stopped at Rose’s seafood to bring fresh shrimp home! Also a great experience. We’d love to come back again. My wife and I left refreshed and rested. Which is exactly what we were looking for! I can’t say I’ve ever found such rest as I’ve found here at The Pelican’s Nest Bed & Breakfast!

This bed & breakfast is beautiful! It's relaxing, peaceful, and the breakfast is superb. My husband and I celebrated our wedding anniversary there and we we're not disappointed. Great atmosphere, excellent couple, lovely location. I would totally recommend The Pelican's Nest for a nice retreat (alone or with someone).

Absolutely beautiful space and spotlessly clean. The hosts were wonderful. Hot breakfast every morning with snacks, coffee, and water freely available. By far the BEST B and B we have ever stayed in. We will definately return.

I can't say enough nice things about our stay at this Bed & Breakfast! The home and setting are BEAUTIFUL, so very relaxing and 100% comfortable. There is even free entertainment -- by the pelicans in the bay where house sits! The house is spotless clean; the rooms are lovely, with nice linens and towels. Kelley made beautifully-prepared breakfasts for us, and surprised us with other homemade goodies, as well. (I'll let her surprise you with them...everything she made was delicious!!) Additionally, the pool was so refreshing, and they even provided beach towels. On a final note, Kelley and John are just wonderful, warm people to visit with. They made us feel very welcome and treated us as friends! We hope to spend time with them again in the future! Thank you, Kelley and John, for helping make our 31st Anniversary special!!!

Upon arrival, I was so warmly welcomed. The home was neat and clean at all times during my stay there. It was beautifully decorated for the season with a sweet aroma. There were fresh flowers in the rooms and snacks in the sun room. Breakfast was delicious and it was prepared by the host and hostess. It is definitely a place I will visit again in the future.

This place is perfect. We came for our anniversary and will definitely return. The hosts (John & Kelley) are wonderful and meticulous in everything about the establishment whether it’s COVID awareness, beautiful rooms & grounds or the wonderful breakfasts. Kelley prepared gluten-free breakfasts at our request which is very important to us. They are also very warm and open people and genuine in spirit. We felt like family while here.. very rare these days. The location is great with many attractions such as Kemah Boardwalk, Space Center Houston as well as fishing, great restaurants and shops. We highly recommend The Pelican’s Nest. You won’t be disappointed but rather pleasantly surprised!

Our weekend getaway was fantastic and exceeded our expectations. The property is pristine and wonderfully appointed; however, it is Kelley's wonderful cooking and scrumptious meals that wowed us. Kelley served us warm lemon blueberry scones on the porch with our coffee - what a personal touch. The history of the home was also nice to learn about. The water views were very peaceful. The Sunrise room was bright, roomy, and very comfortable. This is definitely a place to stay and has set a high bar. Thanks to Kelley and Don - you were such great hosts.

This Bed and Breakfast is wonderful. The owners, John and Kelly are amazing and have spared no thoughtful detail in making sure their guests have a peaceful, relaxing and comfortable visit. The homemade breakfast each morning was delicious, as well as thoughtful treats provided a nice indulgence. This is the home to stay if you are seeking quiet, understated luxury and comfort, peaceful surroundings, with a humble homey feel. I cannot say enough good things about my 3 day stay and I will be back!! I left refreshed.

What a delightful getaway. Kelley and John are premiere hosts with a facility that is inviting, relaxing, beautiful and immaculate. We have visited many premiere BnB’s and this one did not disappoint us in any way. Breakfasts were exceptional with added treats (homemade cookies upon arrival). A lovely wrap around porch to relax and enjoy the laid back atmosphere, a swimming pool and comfortable chairs to sit and enjoy the bay are all added amenities. We will certainly be back. Everything about our stay was 5 star quality--the view, the hosts, the food, the amenities, the spots to rest and relax. John and Kelly were tremendous hosts, and the breakfast was fantastic and plentiful. My wife also has celiac disease, and Kelly had no problems with whipping up gluten free waffles, and a gluten free bluebrry crumble. Thanks to John and Kelly for wonderful stay! We will definitely be stopping by for more visits.

John and Kelley are the most welcoming hosts. They’ve created a relaxing, quaint place to rest your head. After exploring the area during the day we looked forward to coming back for the evening. Kelley knocks it out of the park with her breakfasts. When you book a stay it’s like visiting old friends.

This place is the best for relaxing. The owners are very kind, informative, and hard working. I rented the room The Nest, and though it is the smaller of the rooms it is not lacking at all. The daily breakfast was always delicious. We rented their bikes for a little while. Sitting on the porch looking out over the water is very relaxing. We are definitely coming here again. Thank you for helping our anniversary weekend be amazing!
