Really great food and coffee, super clean equipment and something to play with an climb for all ages. Such a different experience compared to other indoor play centres, with great 90’s hits for mum and dad. We got pizza and coffee and it was absolutely spot on. A proper kitchen with multiple chefs, incredibly kind and professional service staff, and really clean facilities. 10/10 recommend and couldn’t rate it higher.

I went with my family to have a fun day. I was not disappointed. There was a lot of different themed areas and it was a lot of fun. It was odd the rock climbing was not open because we wanted to do it. The staff was nice but I say they could be more energetic. All around it was a nice and fun day. I would recommend going here for a fun day for kids. 👌👍

Funtopia Carrum Downs is a great place for young kids to play and burn off energy. Funtopia is great as the onsite cafe has too quality food that surpasses the standards of the average playcentre. They have proper meals and top quality coffee as well. Although we didn’t use it today, this Funtopia also has various rock climbing walls. We did use the Messy Studios area which is an extra cost but is good for younger kids. It does get very busy though so it would be good to go early if you can. There is also a time limit of three hours so it’s best to maximise the play time. The staff were great as well and despite the ultra busy atmosphere, they were able to keep up with food orders and keep all activities running smoothly.

Our first time at Funtopia Carrum Downs and what a stellar place it is! Absolutely bananas the amount of people there were but the venue is so well-run, you didn't notice it as much as other places. ZANA & DEAN were especially phenomenal at what they do and how they engage with all the children climbing & parent onlookers. I felt the kids were in safe hands and also having a blast. These young gentlemen are a great asset to Funtopia. Entry & menu items are on the pricier side but I did feel it was a more premium children's entertainment venue & a 3hr session offered is a good amount of time. Will happily return!

Amazing centre to bring your children or grandchildren for a few hours of non stop energy release. Staff are friendly and cheerfully engage with parents and children alike. Super busy during school holidays so book early. Food is excellent with an extensive menu and the best latte l've had in years. Highly recommended.

The most amazing place I've been so far(and I've been , i think, everywhere!!!) Very clean, very well equipped and, amazing considered change room! Has wet tissues and disposable mats! I mean whaaat?? Huge fun for everyone, i truly enjoyed it among my 11 yo son (who's birthday it was on the day) and my 9 months old daughter who had the best first time ever climbing 😀

This huge playground is a truly fun destination for kids of all ages and parents! Awesome toddler area - check, lots of climbing tracks - check, kart ‘racing’ - fun, playground with lots of soft balls - fun, lots of great slides and so much more. Extensive cafe menu completes the perfect picture for a great time for hours.

Absolutely loved our time here. My 2 year old did not want to leave. This is easily the best play centre in the whole area.

Great place for kids

Took my kids there for the first time yesterday, was super packed but really fun. Big shout out and THANK YOU to Zana who was leading the climbing sessions. He did a great job of getting all of the kids hyped up during the briefing, and was super friendly and warm with the kids. My little lad was nervous at first but Zana spent some time with him which quickly put him at ease. It’s really refreshing to see a young adult take pride in his work and really make an effort. Best customer experience I’ve had in years. Food was great and came out quickly despite how busy it was. We will definitely come again.

One of the best place for kids and their parents to spend time together.Food is sold there for reasonable prices and food is amazing.A lot of activities for kids and yes you pay for your kids entry the adults get in for free.

Attended on Saturday. Been to quite a few indoor playgrounds around Melbourne & this is the best in terms of pricing, facilities, cleanliness & most importantly staff do ask kids above 3 years to leave the toddler area. There are highly priced places in Highpoint where they make it compulsory to buy their socks & there’s kids of all ages playing & jumping around in the toddlers areas making it unsafe for toddlers but staff do not care. Highly recommend!

Had our 2 year old Grandson's party there this week. Riley and all the kids 'enjoyed themselves thoroughly, as did all the adults. Staff member Brodie helped make our day a special one. He interacted with all the kids showing them each of the activities and ensuring their day was a good one. He also worked to ensure all the adults were comfortable and assisted us when needed. Thanks Brodie, you helped make the day a great one.

Great place for kids to go. My girl enjoyed her climb，she is back again only after 3 weeks. massive climbing area. Food (Chicken parma)is huge portion with reasonable price, lots of variety as well. The reception lady is very helpful, by fitting us to next session time instead of having to wait for hours as we didn't make a booking. The same lady also helped us to follow up on our meals. Thumbs up for the great service.

Such a good experience. My child was supported by staff members Alex and Dean who were so hands on and engaged and super encouraging! They ensured my child felt supported and included during the climbing activities. All staff were very friendly! Would come again for sure.

Had my son's 6th birthday party on Sunday 18/2/24 at Funtopia Carrum Downs. He had such a wonderful time. LIV was our party host she was kind, helpful and organised. Everything was set out nicely. LIV even offered to help with my baby's pram and played with the kids. My family have been to Funtopia quite a bit. This was the first party we have booked. The only thing we would of liked a little different was to be allowed access to our left over/ remaining pizza and cordial on our private parents table. Son was still hungry. Everyone was really impressed with the size of venue and play equipment. The kids had a fantastic time, lots of smiling faces.

Love taking my daughter here, we always have a great time! Probably the best play centre we've been to in the region. The food is also really good and very well priced and the staff are all friendly and welcoming.

I had a wonderful experience at funtopia! The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful, The hostess was amazing with the children, she engaged with them all and made an effort to make sure all the children were having fun. The food was lick your plate delicious! And affordable! I highly recommend going there for a party or even just a play. We will definitely be coming back!

So much funkids loved it but so did us adults certainly a great work out very busy on weekends but during the week if the kids ever have a curriculum day it's a great place to spend hours and wear the whole family out. Currently afew places were blocked off due to damages so kids were a little bit annoyed this time around but they still had fun. It was lovely and quiet on a Monday.

As two seniors visiting with active grandchildren on Dec 22/12/23 in the am we were impressed with the facilities and helpfulness of Connor and his team. The climbing staff Dean and Alex interacted with the children providing support and encouragement being mindful of safety requirements, coffee was good, place was clean. We had an end of year Prep party here last night. We booked out the whole place and it was amazing. Everyone commented about how organised I was but truth is - I didn't do anything! The staff just made everything really easy. The kids all had the best time running around, and the parents enjoyed chatting with a beer and wine. We have already agreed this will be an annual event.

We had our sons 5th birthday party here and what an amazing experience! All the staff were so lovely, helpful and energetic which just made the kids feel so comfortable and exited. The party host were amazing, serving food, cleaning spills, and staying with the kids on the playground was something I didn't expect but was so helpful! Overall the best party we have had The food was fantastic

A last minute decision to come to Funtopia today, it didn’t disappoint! My son loved the climbing followed by an epic amount of playing! We can’t thank Connor and all His staff for making the day amazing! We can’t wait to come back, most likely weekly! Highly recommend for kids of all Ages!

Brought in a child I work for (he has autism) and the staff were so accommodating. Especially Alex, he made sure the child had everything he needed to feel comfortable. I have been working for kids with disabilities for a while and have taken the kids out to many play centres however I have never felt more welcomed than I have at funtopia. Alex was amazing and so kind! Will definitely be coming back here and recommending this play centre to all parents I know.

Good way to drain the kids energy bars, and surprisingly fun as an adult to run around through the different areas. I do think they need some sort of limit on numbers though, two school groups rocked up while we were there and it was complete madness. Climbing walls looked amazing but we didn't get to give them a go. FYI don't go on the large tunnel slides if you are over 30 and enjoy having a functional spine.

I just can't express how amazing this venue is. First time visitors here where they hosted my son's first ever birthday party here today. Soo attentive to my needs, great function room where they gave us time to set up extra decorations and my host Cayla super cool with the kids and being able to keep up with about 13 5yr old kids!. She guided me through the whole party and just took care with all the important things, so that I was able to actually enjoy the party and be with the kids. The food provided was also plentiful for the kids I also want to mention Kayla who assisted with the whole booking process. Which was easy. The party process followed with all their policies and procedures to make sure safety was priority. Non slip Socks provided, identification of kids of parties and supervision. Definitely a safe and importantly such a fun place with everything to keep the kids having fun Thank you. And thankyou Hayley for overseeing everything to make sure everything was running smoothly

Unreal day out, plenty of action and excitement. Kids loved it and were exhausted by the end. Fun and safe for all ages. (Adults can't do rock climbing walls though).

We went to fantastic 'climbing, birthday party here today and the kids loved it! The staff were lovely and Jono the party host was so good with the kids and the whole party routine. He even knew all the kids by names by cake time! 100% great experience even when it was busy plenty of room for everyone.

So impressed with Funtopia! My son has additional needs and was so blown away with how amazingly they treated him! Patients and friendliness of the staff and their amazing inclusion of hiring their staff members! Will be back again and again!

Fantastic range of equipments and activitites, appropriate for all age groups

I took my 2.5 yo girl to this wonderland for kids. My Toni had an awesome day at funtopia, all the facilities is clean, well maintained. And all the staffs were friendly and efficiently! We enjoyed the rides , slides, and the food was just amazing, it was so different with other playgrounds we have been. We are not local, and it took an hour to get here, as we live in Drouin, but it’s worth the drive! It’s definitely highly recommended! Can’t wait to come back again👍

Seems like the owner/manager has great customer service skills! He did an amazing job in accommodating our group with our babies! The ladies were great, always happy, always smiling, noticed them walking around and they'd stop and ask kids if they were having fun, it's so great. Thank you so very much the babies and us mums had an absolute ball, we didn't want to leave, the bubs were having so much fun!! We will be back for sure there is so much to do for every age!!!!

Awesome fun! Large area with diverse play areas. The car ride is a token payment which you need to buy and there are small vending machines and games. Ample choice for parties both separate rooms or general area. Also serves alcohol for the adults.

Easily the most epic play centre in our area - but with an almost 3 year old we prefer to visit midweek during term time when it’s quieter and he can explore the whole area (so exciting that there’s now Cranbourne for weekends and school hols!). The food and coffee is the best offered by any play centre as well - Mr 2 and I love sharing the burrito bowl.

It's in the name! What a great place to bring big and small kids. My daughter loves the rock climbing area, my son loves Messy Play, and both my kids can play all day in the jungle gym (all modelled after famous Melbourne landmarks). The ball play area is a favourite for all. We've been to birthday parties there which are also fantastic. The staff are young and enthusiastic, the bathrooms are clean and the food has been really good for a kids play centre.

I highly recommend Funtopia for kids birthday parties. It is way more expensive then other places I have been to but so well worth it. The food is a much better quality and they have large servings. The facilities are way bigger and better then any other play center I've been to. The staff are very welcoming and I'm honestly so impressed that I can't wait to have my daughter's next birthday here in a year's time

Our mom’s group celebrated the Mother’s Day in this place and we had an incredible time, it is a great place to have fun, the food in the cafeteria is good but you have to wait a bit, I also like that their own rules are followed and the staff knows them. We had my daughter’s 3 years birthday party there today. All the kids had great fun, our host Molly is really nice and so good with the kids. It was such a fun day there, my little one had awesome party today. All the adults enjoyed food. Definitely 5 stars overall

Very nice place, lots of things to do for all ages at a very reasonable price. The climb groups starts every hour, kids must wear shoes. We didn't have a closed shoes but we bought at the best door a pair for 3 dollars :) food was great as well. There are some very quick and scary slides, one kid loved it but the other was very frightened after the 1st time he tried it. Great experience all and all.

This is the second funtopia location I’ve tried and still really impressed. This one is bigger but still caters to all ages. For the older kids they have a climbing area which is super cool and definitely worth the extra price if you have an active kid. The only thing is it was extremely busy but it is school holidays so if you are here during a busy period you need to watch the smaller kids as the older ones can be a bit rough. Toilets were nice and clean and food good.

A bit of a jungle ,you'll spend time looking for your child. But a great place ,kids loved it and we stayed from 10 to 3. Good food ,great coffee.

I had organised a last minute birthday party at Funtopia and they accommodated my request despite the short notice (3 days before the party). Good customer service from booking to party day! Our host Jess was friendly, accommodating and patient with both the kids and guests. Such an amazing place for kids to climb and have fun! The aesthetics are on point for kids! Mind you, the adults also wanted to climb and play! Thanks once again Funtopia team for accommodating us.

Me and the hubby came to bring my son to let of some energy. This place did no disappointment us 1 bit. Our son had an absolute ball. The cafe food was amazing 🤩🤩 we will be definitely coming back. The only reason why it's 3 stars is because as me and my husband were having a coffee we noticed a male staff member wearing a blue top talking down to one of the staff in the awesome themed party rooms. Instead of helping the other staff he was demanding and talking to them in a leadership way. Not mine or my husband place to step in. But maybe that staff member just needs more training or even doing a team leader course. Besides that experience was amazing and we will be definitely be booking one of those awesome party rooms for my son next birthday. Thanks funtopia

Kids had fun, however just a warning that the rock climbing is a little bit mid advertised. You have 1 hour INCL a 15-20 min safety briefing, not an hour plus safety as per website. Wayne handled my complaint in a courteous professional manner, so kudos.

We were guests of a birthday party just recently and were very happy with how the party was run. Our leading lady, I think her name was Elinor was super amazing. She helped me later on floor when my little girl got stuck on some equipment. Very kind and very patient. The other cafe staff were friendly and the food and coffee was great! Highly recommended 👌

Organizing my son's party was such a pleasure. The kids are so well catered for. Food was extremely delicious and more than enough for the kids. Elloise was such an organised host, she guided us through the important bits and made sure that everything ran on schedule. Absolutely love Funtopia! We’re there very frequently, coffee and food has never disappointed. So nice to have such a CLEAN play centre for my daughter to play at. It’s fun for kids and adults, great place for play dates for mothers groups too!

My youngest daughter was invited to several parties at Funtopia last year. I had never been before, despite having 2 older daughters. I found the staff to be very caring. Sadie had felt comfortable with a party host named Elouise, who was understanding of her sensory needs during a party. We met family for catch ups and have found the food to be amazing each time. The cheese/meat/bread grazing platter is huge and delicious! I brought my 2 youngest daughters for Santa photos in December and that was a big success! Having the privacy of an enclosed room, away from other people was a really nice touch and the value was awesome! We booked Sadie's 8th birthday party here on 13/1/24 and requested Elouise as our Party host and she was great! Molly, the party co-ordinator was very helpful and checked in with me many times throughout the party. Dean was so helpful when Sadie freaked out and could not follow through with the Leap of Faith. He managed to keep her calm and guide her back down to the ground, where she felt safe. The tight schedule of parties is tough to keep everyone on track, but the party hosts do a great job of explaining the process many times. I was grateful that I could add an extra hour of playground fun to our Rock climbing party- at short notice- on the day, as I needed to monitor my daughters energy levels on the day, rather than knowing in advance if she would cope with extra time in a busy venue, on a Saturday. Overall, the young staff who work here are doing a fantastic job, in what most would call a hectic work environment with so many young kids, parents and noise! Well done team!

Had a great day with grandkids there. Both kids were exhausted after a few hours, lots to do. Alex and Dean were great with assisting and guiding and encouraging the kids to have a go at the various climbs in the climbing area. Will visit again sometime.

We went here today with 3 energetic children and Funtopia did not disappoint! Connor, “Mr. Clean”, and his staff were awesome! Very friendly, kind, and lots of fun! They all went above and beyond to make sure that the kids had the best time. The climbing staff were safe, reliable, and interactive with the kids. They even played games with the kids, gave high fives, and matched their energy level the whole time. Thank you Connor & Funtopia of Carrum Downs staff for making our day so great. - The Americans 😉
