Lovely, wide, gravel, groomed trail suitable for walks, cycling, strollers and possibly wheelchairs. Variety of scenery from boardwalks through salt marshes to oceanside cliffs to famous surfing spot Lawrencetown Beach.

The Atlantic view trail is 3rd in line after leaving eastern passage on the shearwater Flyers trail, and transitioning into the saltwater trail and then leads into the Atlantic view trail. We are very fortunate as Nova scotians to have such gorgeous pristine coastline to be our backdrop as we enjoy a wonderful trail system following the coastline. We are in the debt of those who have created and maintained this trail system, and are thankful! We will remain positive ambassadors to the trail system!

There's never a bad time for this. Not too people-y, some friendly dogs at the beach, a couple of surfers... Trail, ocean, hills, woods ... Bliss so close to home.

Absolutely gorgeous upon first sight. It was windy and cold, but we just got to Nova Scotia and the kids had to see the ocean. Tons of rocks to throw into the water (and a few special ones picked to bring home and paint as souvenirs). I would definitely recommend a stop here for the gorgeous scenery. No limit to the photos one could take here. Especially around sunset.

Beautiful day but I wore the wrong footwear & got a bad blister on my heel. Had to find a place to sit & wait for my wife to go get the truck & pick me up....... this was my waiting spot...

An amazing easy trail to walk and relax. A few small clouds of bugs/nats but not enough to spoil the walk. It is our go to place for an easy and pretty walk. Love the ducks. Love the horses of the ranch at the Conrad Road end. A quiet walk. Tends to have bikes but again, does not spoil the walk. Love to sit on the bench at the West Lawrencetown Road end, on the marsh. So quiet and peaceful. ❀️

We drove our bikes from Lawrencrtown Beach to Caldwell Road near Shearwater. Some parts had water on either side of the trial, some parts were shaded by trees. Loved the ride and the eagle we saw sitting in a tree there. Enjoyed a bowl of spicy seafood chowder at MacDonald House restaurant.

Perfect place to do your walking either by yourself, or with your family or friends or your pets while watching the surfers πŸ„β€β™‚οΈ πŸ‘
