👍 I'm conflicted as I write this. I'll preface by saying I absolutely love good barbecue and I have heard this is the best around. With this being said, I had big expectations as I pulled into the parking lot at noon on a Saturday. I came from Sherwood, so it was about a 45 minute drive. Getting out... People often mention flavor, good, brisket, meat, pulled, pork, sauce,

I'm conflicted as I write this. I'll preface by saying I absolutely love good barbecue and I have heard this is the best around. With this being said, I had big expectations as I pulled into the parking lot at noon on a Saturday. I came from Sherwood, so it was about a 45 minute drive. Getting out of my truck, the first thing I noticed was the lack of any sort of smoke smell in the air. No smell of meat. Nothing. I didn't read too much into it as I placed my order. 3 combo platter with ribs, pulled pork, brisket, beans, and potato salad. I paid and anxiously awaited my order. When I finally received my order, I noticed that the bbq sauce was included in a container of its own -- a good sign to me, as it shows that they're proud of their meat and don't want to mask the flavor with sauce. Opening the container, I was pleased to see two large ribs, a decent portion of pulled pork, and two sizeable slices of brisket. I'll start with the sides first. The beans have a noticeable onion flavor to them, which I quite liked. The potato salad was reminiscent of whole hog's potato salad, which isn't my favorite. I'd prefer a classic mustard based potato salad, but that's personal preference and for what it was, it was fine. Now to the meats. The ribs were definitely the best. Albeit slightly overcooked (meat fell off the bones -- probably due to being reheated) they had the best flavor and really shined over the other meats. The pulled pork was very juicy, which was nice, but lacked in the flavor department. However, with the addition of the included sauce, the pulled pork was a solid option. Now onto the brisket. I'll start by saying that the flavor was great. The bark was heavy on the black pepper and pretty much spot on what I'd want as a flavor profile for brisket. Unfortunately, it was obviously made at least the day before and therefore was dry as a bone, since it was from the flat and not the point. For $28, I was expecting everything to be fresh and unfortunately, that was not the case. I could tell the beans were also reheated because they were cold in the middle. With this being said, I will give them the benefit of the doubt and will return for at least another try. Hopefully I just caught them on an off day but my expectations were not met on this particular occasion, unfortunately.

This place doesn't miss. Ever. If you're anywhere in driving distance from Knightfire you have got to come here. Simple, elegant, and incredibly satisfying. Standing room only. They're still stretching their legs from their start in the food truck business so expect limited quantities on some things and the full sides menu is coming along. Pair your meal with a frosty can of Diamond Bear Rootbeer too.

Food was great and so was service! Seating is outdoor only, but the weather was nice and the birds were singing. The brisket was amazing and not dry at all.

We found another one. This is among the best in the Natural State. A blazing sun among bbq restaurants that beats out the other one's that are using flashlights with the batteries going dead. The brisket was smoked perfectly with a good flavor and was very tender. The turkey was also delicious with a good smoky flavor. The Mexican street corn was some of the best I've ever had, with just a small bit of heat to it. The coleslaw was fresh, like it was just made. Don't miss out on this joint if your looking for good bbq.

I heard so many good things about this place. I was alone in the office today so decided to order in. I got the pulled pork tacos, fried pickles, and Mac and cheese bites. It took over an hour to get the food. I wasn't mad though. Just hungry. I gave a 10 dollar tip. The taco was cold the tortilla was dry. The meat tasted undercooked. Lots of fat and hardly any flavor or bbq sauce. The fried pickles taste like very old grease 🤢. The Mac and cheese bites literally tasted rotten and like old grease as well. I couldn't even eat it. Also, there was no sauce or utensils in the bag.

I got the Brisket sandwich and the chili fries. The sandwich was lacking in flavor and could have use more BBQ, also as you can see from the picture there was a lot of fat on the brisket. The chili fries were so good but the fries had some green pieces that really turned me off of it. All and all it was ok.

Today was the day to take the time to try Knightfire Barbeque. It was recommended by family living in Searcy. This is what we ordered and what we thought. Knightrider- fresh bun and loads of meat, the mustard slaw did compliment the bland meat. BBQ sauce must have been used to only dress the bun because there was none on my pork. If you love that smoky flavor in a bbq it is not here . I would give this a 3.5/5 Just Two of Us- turkey ok, not getting that smoky flavor, baked beans just ok, and street corn , uh someone didn’t follow the recipe and all I got was a lot of lime juice . Nastiest street corn I’ve ever had! It gets a zero. This combo I give a 3/5. Would we order again? Probably not Strictly a pick up and go place even though there are a few picnic tables outside. It was sunny and I did not see umbrellas on any of the picnic tables. Parking there’s maybe five slots in front but some on the side but you access a street over. It is on busy Main and patience is needed when backing out .

Ok if you haven’t been to KnightFire, or you’re reading this and debating just go! KnightFire isn’t just some of the best BBQ in Arkansas but in the whole country and right there in Searcy. I got the Fat Boy and OMG this is the Brisket Sandwich I’ve been dreaming about! You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu, and you can’t find anyone more dedicated to perfecting their craft.

It is very obvious that when you walk through the door and the smell of BBQ hits you, this place is a hidden gem. There is something for everyone on the menu. I tried four different menu items two pictured here. Absolutely amazed by the atmosphere and how friendly everyone was. I used a picnic table to eat at. I really recommend doing that you truly allow for the full experience. A must stop for BBQ one of the best in the state of Arkansas. Thanks for your passion Knrightfire BBQ!

I can’t recommend this place enough. I end up eating here about once a week. I’m selective about barbecue and this place has never disappointed. I’ve tried almost everything on the menu at least once. The variations of the house-made sausages are always great. The brisket burger is unique and always top notch. I’ve been eating here since he had his food truck and the place just keeps getting better. He’s been recognized by food critics as having some of the best barbecue in the state for good reason: he does.

My main thing was the meat. It was tender and juicy. Just not much on flavor. No smokey taste, no spices. Mostly bland.
